Quality has slipped, and the owner's reaction was alarming…read more The food here has gotten worse over the last couple of years. Since it's the only breakfast option in Hailey, there's little pressure to improve. I was sitting next to another customer who ordered the "yogurt parfait." What arrived was a large bowl of purple. It was Yoplait with loose, flat-rolled oat flakes, which are common in basic or low-budget granola mixes. The bowl also had four banana slices, with no layers and nothing resembling a parfait. When the guy next to me politely pointed out the discrepancy to the waiter, THE OWNER TOOK HIM OUTSIDE AND BERATED HIM FOR COMPLAINING! I walked past them while this was happening, and it was shocking. I've never heard of a restaurant owner taking a customer outside to confront them in anger over feedback that the dish didn't match what was advertised. If you eat here, expect mediocre food at best. And think twice before sending anything back, because the owner might berate you for it. Because I witnessed the owner abuse a customer, I am leaving this review to warn people.

I had the jackfruit tacos - which I don't believe I've ever had before - and they were delicious! Like pulled pork, if maybe a little less texture, but so good. Just the right amount of spice, loved them. Paired with a side salad, which had a very tasty mustard based vinaigrette; so fresh, so good! Then I just had to try this gluten free whoopie pie they had in the bakers display box. Just the right amount of sweet, the cookies of the pie were so soft, with a dusting of sugar. Tasted like Christmas! Price, a little high in my opinion, as I spent about $45 for just myself (3 tacos; salad; pie; drink) but the ingredients were clearly high quality and super fresh, so I still have to give the 5 stars. Good earth food that tastes amazing! Go check them out.

Busy little place with a lot of locals and a few travelers passing by on their way to somewhere…read more Best option on this desolate stretch of highway. Has a nice wood burning fireplace in the dining room for the cold days. Helpful and pleasant young lady taking our order at the counter. Asked for suggestions and they happened to be out of their famous curly fries on this day. Chicken strips were just ok. Seemed to be the frozen type with no real chunks of chicken. Regular fries were the same, nothing special frozen type. Family liked the burgers and the sweet potato fries were really good. Shakes are thick and made with real ice cream.
