They Charged me for routine carpet cleaning (when I was only there for 5 months): WHICH IS AGAINST THE LAW!!!!!!!! They also didn't give me my receipts which if anyone is reading this, if they take over 125$ out of ur deposit, you have the LEGAL RIGHT to ask for the receipts so you know where your money is going. Then Diana wrote out the check to me and my husband, KNOWINGLY he wasn't available to be with me to cash the check.... Also Wrote the check on the April 5th (moved out on march 31st) and waited to mail it to me on the 21st. (By law landlords HAVE to give you ur security deposit within 21 days, unless it's taking longer to figure out the amount that's being taken out, then by that point, they need to contact you within those 21 days to let you know about the delay. If you have to ask more than once for your deposit after 21 days, by default, they have to give you your entire amount of deposit. But ironically, when I went to the office on April 24th to speak to them about my check, I was told Diana is out ALL week lol Don't not trust this apartment. Or before you contract with them, LEARN YOUR RIGHTS AS TENANT!!!

During that time they were very aggressive with our long term tenants. After they evicted them they brought in new tenants, who we think were someone they knew. They do not look out for the owner's interest. They protected these new tenants and had us constantly fix things although we had remodeled the house after they evicted the long term tenants. During the year of their tenancy we did not receive any rental payments because something always needed to be fixed or something had suddenly broke and was deducted from our rent. The companies they hired to do the "work" did not perform professional work. They installed mismatched fixtures, the tenants ruined the carpet and did not take it out of their security payment. It sounds basic, but it made a huge difference. What really stood out to me was how approachable they are. I've asked about lease stuff, tenant situations, random landlord questions, even things I probably should already know. I never felt rushed, brushed off, or made to feel dumb for asking. There were also times I reached out about things that weren't urgent at all or weren't technically their issue yet. They still helped me think it through and gave honest input.
