An interesting mix of campsites with permanent onsite units (ie park models) in central Florida…read more They say most sites are level (flat) but bring leveling blocks as the community is sloped. Busy & popular with snowbird crowd. Prices are on par with other communities in area that offer similar amenities and activities. Campsites come with w/s/e (30/50 amp) and picnic table. Cable TV is offered for $. Bring your own raised fire pit and wood if you like campfires. Site are spacious (40 x 65) some areas are full sun, others are shaded. You're parking on grass / packed sand. Some campsites have concrete patios (remnants of older park trailer that has since been removed. Warning about concrete: it's not reinforced so don't park your rig on it. Also, concrete is at various heights on sites and some may find issues with their Rv stairs. Two heated swimming pools (indoor 18+ open 24/7, outdoor is daylight hrs) cafe for breakfast and/or lunch weekdays. People here are friendly and most will stop and talk with newcomers and offer help when needed. Complex has lots of function rooms and during winter season have a gazillion activities for adults to participate in. The community is a 55+ property, under 18 year olds are allowing a two week stay a year. About 2/3 of sites are permanent onsite with the other 1/3 open for Rv campers. And about 1/3 of sites are year round residents. We came for 1 month winter camping several years ago. Kept extending our stay and ended up buying a park model a few years later. We own unit but pay monthly lot rent and electricity. Property is on a canal which leads to Lake Harris.

The RV resort has all the amenities that the upscale residential retirement communities provide. The staff is unfailingly prompt, polite, pleasant and professional. The park offers the shade of old live oaks as well as more open areas, pick your pleasure. A charming, low key, feature-packed neighborhood of year-round residents and vacationing visitors. We love it.

The stay was ok & the park was nice enough; neighbors and staff were friendly enough. My RV…read morecampsite was a little worn down looking (it was tiled of all things and they were breaking apart and it made it super slippery when it rained, but that was not a huge problem, however, I needed to leave my site early and despite it being high season with plenty of demand, they refused to provide a refund when they could have easily re-rented it and still made money. And had they done so, I would have recommend that my friends and family camp there when visiting the area since they also have RVs. But because it just felt greedy and lazy, that they wouldn't work with me, I will not refer others there. Left a bad taste in my mouth. I recommend if you go and think you may need to leave early you just extend your stay week by week. Even in high season. Yes, you may have to move to another park but it's better than eating hundreds of dollars. There are plenty of other nice parks in the area too.

The park Manager Stacey and her excellent Staff are very knowledgeable in all aspects of managing and maintaining the community and are always willing to give you a hand as well if needed. The amenities are great with a pool , gym , pickle ball , shuffle board court , extra. There are so many other daily group activities to choose from as well. If you need a great place to live and like to have a good time either full time or part time this is it.

When I arrived on a Monday after a long drive I found that the "office" was converted into a…read moreresidence, so there was nobody to check in with. I didn't see any sign declaring which spot the host lived at if there was a host. I was able to find my spot by referring to the online map when I got to my spot which was supposed to have a 50 amp service, there was no 50 amp service for me. It was being used by my next-door, neighbor Then I found within 20 feet of my RV spot 10 or 15 mounds of fire ants which means they're going end up in my RV sooner or later. This was a totally unacceptable situation. I needed 50 A so that I could run both air conditioners which I did not have. I had fire ants 20 feet away and nobody to talk to about the situation. The "neighbor" gave me two phone numbers of the people who were supposed to be the hosts, even though they weren't on site and I called and left messages with both of them and texted both of them. Neither one of them has ever returned my call. I finally found a number on their website, which I called and was able to talk to somebody a day later and who was able to affect my refund, but in the meantime, I had to find a new place to stay, which I was very lucky to find. But one thing to remember without it declared host without an office how can you offer all those amenities like activities and clean bathrooms and clean anything? No, I would not recommend this place to my enemies.. One more thing there was a sign out what was supposed to be the rec hall and it was an old piece of paper been there for a while and this was confirmed by the neighbor that couldn't use water cook with or give your dogs cause it's too high in nitrates, what the hell is that all about? The only reason they get one star is that you can't give zero stars on yelp
