We decided to stay here because of the location to some of the shopping and attractions my wife wanted to do while there! * Definitely like how close it is to everything. * The staff has been nice during our once meeting during checkin. Since then I haven't had the need to go to the office for anything. * It's definitely NOT a resort. * We didn't use any of the pools because it was cold but the park does have two nice pools. * Our site was decent and somewhat level and quiet. Perhaps it's the heat) - free popcorn in the clubhouse everyday; calendar with an "activity" most days (ranges from water aerobics to Sunday Ice Cream Social) - nice pool - security guard (full time) - close to Publix and a nail/manicure place - 5 miles from Disney but w/ traffic, takes about 25 mins to Disney - quiet Negatives: - no hot tub - you have to pay $50 to use Campground TV box in order for your TV to work (upon return of cable box, you are refunded your $50). Our lot had a bad connection so after purchasing box, had to wait a day for fix. - expensive (we paid $610 for 10 nights-- $61 a night plus the $50 TV/cable box deposit)

Check out is at 12 PM, which is the best we've ever seen NEEDS: The cons of this place is that 90% of the people staying here are pretty much permanent residence or snowbirds doing long-term rentals. There are no other amenities at this campground. They have a picnic table at each site but your whole campsite is not flattened. To have better Internet you need to be right by the main office which we were. The staff is very nice. We would definitely stay here again if we just needed a place to stay for a couple of nights while we did other activities in the area or needed a station to come back to

The pad I was assigned to had a large oak tree on one side and the patio pad on the other; a 4" thick concrete pad. I was forced to put two axles of our trailer on the pad to avoid the tree. He told me I shouldn't have done that and didn't know how to back a trailer, even though I only had about a 3" room for error. Because of that and the sewer outlet was uphill from my trailer and a good 20' away, I requested a different site and to buy five more days at the park. He went absolutely ballistic on me. It got ugly, since I was making such a huge request. A simple no would have sufficed. SCREAMING at me was not necessary. The place is old and only fairly maintained. Electrics are old and my solar assist had to kick in every time the ac came on. It could be a pretty nice place if he would chill out a bit. In over 40 years of doing this, I've NEVER had something like this happen. If you decide to take this venture, be sure to leave your dignity and self-respect on the road in front of this joint.

All of the lots are deeded and owned by the residents. There is no rental office. You can reach out to the lot owners directly that are renting their spots. We stayed on lot 135, it was super clean and featured a large shed and oversized gazebo. The landscaping was very nice. Our lot rental included water, sewer, cable and wifi. The property owner was super accommodating and did everything to make sure that we had a pleasant stay. The residents at Citrus Valley make this place very special. Everyone we met was really friendly. We were sorry to leave and we are already thinking about when we would like to return on our next trip to the Orlando area. There is constant road noise, but even worse, there is a charter air service close and the small engine planes take off every 2 to 15 minutes. This goes on all day and into the night. The WiFi at our site was non-existent - space 26. There is an excessive amount of permanent campers, mixed in with the recreational campers. Overnight stays will probably be ok, but do not expect it to be a quiet experience.

Most of the rental sites do not have concrete pads and most of the concrete pads are broken. The grounds are unkept. And we found that when there was a problem, the after hours phone line was not answered. The residential permanent sites of the park is nice, the rental sites are not. Some sites had pads others were ground and not level. The so called security was non existent. We complained there was broken glass at our campsite. Management did send some workers to clean up. We had to buy a carpet at Home Depot to avoid our dog cutting his feet. This is by far the worst campsite we have encountered in the last 5 years.
