The break was a bad one. I woke up with only a few Kwires in my foot a great looking X-ray and Dr Nord saying "we got it done". No understand he is human and not all outcomes are great. I have an appt with a Roth surgeon in two weeks but was in crisis mode and instead of taking a third admission to a regular hospital I tried Rothman urgent care. They were able to give me a cortisone injection into my scapula which immediately reduced my pain from a 10 to a six. I had no clue Rothman had urgent care but they actually have several locations including Marlton, Abington, Limerick and Hamilton. If you have an ortho issue I highly recommend over a traditional hospital. Very good to know this kind of urgent care exists.

But you know your body and you know if something isn't right. I was to another Orthopedic Specialist that wouldn't listen to me and then came to Dr. Longenecker for a second opinion. They took the time to show me what a normal knee should look like and we tried treating it before we had to go through with the Total Knee Replacement. While in his care I fell and I complained that something was wrong with my other knee. I had to convince them to do the MRI and sure enough I had a torn meniscus in the other knee. I had a script problem with my insurance and one of the doctors personally took the script to the pharmacy knowing I had been through enough. You aren't just another number.

I had a simple…read morepinched nerve in my neck and shoulder, and affliction as old as dirt itself, and they manipulated my symptoms and what came out of my mouth until they didn't have to treat me. And then told me to go to the ER. My doctor, the one with the degree, suggested that place knowing full well what was wrong with me. From what I see here, not wanting to work and wanting to go home seems to be their only goal here. It's a shame because an orthopedic urgent Care is a good idea, however it needs to be staffed with the right people. Ones who want to help, and are happy to do their job.
