After I left St. Peter's, I never saw him again. He wouldn't see me because of Covid - 19 (he was high risk), and he retired a few months later. He referred me to Dr. David Harwood for follow up, who also seems to be excellent. The knee revision is doing well. I would have liked to talk to Dr. Tria once more and ask questions about how my knee became infected, but he would not allow it. Perhaps it was because he was afraid of Covid, but he wouldn't speak to me on the phone either and I will always wonder if he just didn't want to face my questions.
