I immediately thought of the Repair Lounge down to the their catchy radio ads. First up, it's pretty easy to find, opposite the junction of Tates Avenue on the Lisburn Road. If you're driving park on one of the many side streets rather than trying to get a space on the Lisburn Road. The shop itself is minimal, you walk in and you are presented with platformed area, don't let this put you off, that's where the phone fixers sit. When I went in (about 3pm on a Monday) the two guys were noticeably busy, one on the phone and one in the middle of dissecting an iPhone but I waited patiently. Once they were free I asked how much and how long it would take to get my phone screen repaired. They then explained to me that it varied from £100 - £140 depending on the quality of the glass used for the screen. This didn't put me off as I expected it to be in that area. What did put me off was the wait - they explained that they had a huge back log of phones to repair and with Monday being delivery day I couldn't get it repaired straight away. This wait made me go somewhere else, but the experience wasn't bad at all. I understand that it's a skilled job to fix these devices and that Monday is their busiest day - especially after all the weekend smashes! Cool set up and really knowledgeable staff - I'll be back no doubt!

As entered the shop I saw a young girl standing chatting to some fellow on the left side of the wide entrance. When we started to look at the phones on display we were shouted at across the floor from this girl we can't come in we have to get in a queue. you are going to have to leave. I said to her I 'll just not bother to which she replied "Ok Then" sarcastically THERE WAS NO QUEUE OUTSIDE THE SHOP AND NO VISABLE SIGNAGE TO TELL US THIS SYSTEM. There was also no one looking at mobile phones in the entire shop. Apparently there were a coulpe of scattered people sitting on benches 20-30 feet away from the shop waiting to be called. I can understand restrictions with Covid but bad manners yet again in this store. I went to the same store last year and a young girl yawned right in my face as I was asking her for assistance. I would like to add Dave in the store is great pity about some others who let him and the shop down. We returned home and bought the phone from Amazon. So much for supporting local O2 store that girl just lost a £699 sale

Only downside is that they are very pushy at trying to get you to buy every visit but this seems typical with most mobile phone shops. If you can, try buying online you will get a better deal
