This is such a cute place. The staff is so welcoming and knowledgeable. I came here with my daughter a few months ago and had to bring my husband to try the wonderful drinks! The person helping us was right on point with her suggestions. My husband got the Mango Sago and I got the creamy Matcha with matcha boba. Matcha boba is delicious! It reminds me a little of crystal boba in texture and I LOVE crystal boba. I usually get my drinks 1/2 sweet, and asked if the drinks were on the sweet side. I was advised that O Tea Bar purposely serves their drinks not as sweet as most other shops. I can attest that this is true. We ordered the drinks as is, and WOW! The creamy matcha is CREAMY and not grassy tasting at all. The Mango Sago was so fresh and fruity. I think my husband has a new favorite. He decided to walk on the wild side since he usually gets a black tea boba type drink. We both thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and even though I LOVE matcha I would actually entertain getting the Mango Sago too. Decisions, decisions! Give O Tea Bar a try! I think this place has potential. Unfortunately I don't think with it being in this area it will get enough to go against the big rigs. It's tough in the area but I will say some good things about them. Love the design in the shop and they do produce some good stuff. First time at O Tea Bar! It is located in the SW on Jones/Windmill. They have Kaws decor and it's a nice open space with lots of seating. We asked about their popular drinks and the girl was nice and went through the whole menu and pointed out the favorites in each category. We ordered the Avocado Sago, Mixed Fresh Fruit Sago w/Coconut Milk & Super Mix Fruit Green Tea w/Crystal Boba. Our drinks were brought out to us pretty quickly. All the drinks had a different taste but all were good. The Super Mix Fruit was refreshing and not too sweet. The crystal boba had a good texture. The Mixed Fresh Fruit Sago was very creamy and there was a lot of fresh fruit pieces which was nice. The Avocado Sago was good. You can definitely taste the avocado and the fresh fruit gives it a little sweetness. We wanted to try the Sesame balls but they were out plus we came in close to their closing time. We ordered their house coffee slushy with light boba and the flavor was different in a good way. My oldest daughter ordered a mango slushy with boba and it was very favorable it did not taste artificial. They did offer public restrooms. Nice lighting fixtures. Once inside, I also noticed the outlets at every booth--amazing. I spent a good few hours here. The interior is adorable and all staff are so welcoming and friendly. Very clean & well kept as well; staff were cleaning tables immediately as guests walked out the door. Super Mix Tea, good amount of sweetness and tea flavour with tiny pieces of fruits. The watermelon coconut milk was very good and refreshing, perfect for this hot weather. The Mango sago had a bitter taste so my daughter did not like it. The owners said they put grapefruit in it which is why it had a slight bitter taste. They were nice enough to exchange it for something else. Came here for the first time wanting to try a new boba shop thanks to the Yelp reviews, found this place and it was great! First off, parking was a little difficult but luckily a spot opened up. The inside of the shop is bright and clean and very colorful. The girl taking our order was kind and patient explaining their different drinks.
