Boba on the Strip? Heck yes. Happy Lemon is a chain originally from California that currently has two outposts in Vegas, both located on the Strip. This one is in the 2nd floor food court of the Showcase Mall, which is just north of MGM Grand. I was feeling thirsty in the evening and I was close enough to stop by, so I did. I tried the C3 ($6.50), which is the Honey Green Tea in the Freshly Squeezed Lemon Series. I'm not entirely sure if they heeded the 50% sugar (and 50% ice) customizations, or maybe it's just the honey that's weirdly sweeter than the normal sugar version of the green tea. It may have also had some distracting floral qualities. Either way, the lemon wasn't as cleanly present in here as it was in the C1 when I tried it at their sister store on the Strip. I still feel that I would stop here to get the C1 in the future if and when I'm close enough on the Strip. I just wasn't as thoroughly impressed this night as I have been before with Happy Lemon. P.S. This location also has the "monster" 34 oz cup for a $1.00 upgrade, but I was tired and forgot to request it (and they didn't ask me). read more

This place only had three people working. They offered different sugar levels for customers' to select. I selected 75% sugar for my taro milk tea, but it still came out too sweet. I think they did not shake the milk tea powder well, so the milk tea had some sort of powder texture in it. Or they put too much milk tea powder? We visit this place every time we come to Vegas! It's a hidden gem & we love it! The absolute best bubble waffles we ever had! The quality of the drinks was better than I was expecting. I love that there are so many pictures for the drinks so you can see what you're getting. It's very visual, and it's pretty smart to upsell $1 more for the larger cups with the cute tops. There weren't many other boba options when I was walking the Strip, so I'm glad that this location pulled through. We got the Mango Green Tea with Strawberry Popping Boba and Okinawa Milk Tea with Boba. I'd definitely get both again depending whether I was craving something fruity or milky. The only issue was they got my sugar level wrong (asked for 25% but they gave me 100%). It was way too sweet, but the customer service was very friendly and after I drank about a third they added ice and milk to help dilute it. There were only 2 people staffing the stall that day, one at the register and one making the drinks behind her. The drinks tasted good but can be a little bit of a wait if there are many orders since there's only 2 employees. What I really appreciated was the gentleman that made the drinks and called out our numbers. When he handed us our drinks, he gave suce a nice friendly smile. There is an escalator up to the food court that you can access from the street level. Since it was a Saturday afternoon, it was very packed in the food court so there was a little bit of a wait. The service was good though! Since it is in a food court there is a lot of seating shared between all the businesses. I ordered the milk tea with boba and pudding. They were really nice and gave me the free drink (Okinawa fresh milk) even though I already submitted my order in the app before checking in on yelp. Not sure about parking since we walk the strip. They have seating for all businesses there. I always get the boba milk tea and add crystal boba and half sweet at all the happy lemons I go to and it's always great and consistent. This is non dairy or at least it never gives me issues. The fresh milk one is real dairy so take a dairy pill if you need it. Also got the original bubble waffle. Made fresh. Hot and crispy when you get it. Best to eat right away. Not as crispy once you get to your room but I still enjoy it. They have a $1 upgrade to a 32 ounce cup but it's huge! My two daughters were so excited to visit this location. It's their first time on the strip and we let them choose their places to visit. My 10yr old immediately requested Happy Lemon. When we arrived we were greeted by a super low energy chic that seemed like she didn't want to be there. We were the only ppl at the spot. Ordered a bubble waffle. After waiting almost 20minutes for her to make it and hand it over my daughter excitedly dove in. After two bites she asked for some water. I asked the other employee who was at the counter for a cup of water. He told me he had to charge me $2 for a cup of water.. or.. if I had my own cup he would fill it for free. After spending $13(including tip) on one item, that seemed totally lame. I said thanks but no thanks and sat back down. My daughter ended up telling me she couldn't eat any more without water so I nicely asked again if we could please just have a small cup of water. The dude (I believe his name was Jesus?) was so rude and told us absolutely not, I explained my daughter couldn't enjoy her treat without a little water and he said, "not my problem". So.. We left. Went down the escalator. There is a small bar at the bottom. I nicely asked the woman if she could give us a cup of water, I was 100% ready to buy something and become a paying customer. But, she sweetly and easily filled a plastic cup and handed it to me. I thanked her kindly. .. As a paying customer at "Happy Lemon" not only were we treated horrible after a long wait and unfriendly service, but the food court where this place is located was dirty, and totally empty. You would think they would want to treat their few customers with care. Needless to say, they lost a customer for life. At every location. We had a terrible visit at this location. It was our first time visiting a happy lemon and ordered drinks and waffles. We got our drinks right away and they were great. My daughters kept checking the pickup window and our waffles weren't there. After 20 mins of waiting I went and asked the worker and she handed me a cold hard waffle. I asked why they weren't warm and found out they had just been sitting behind the counter.
