The friendly staff helped with a draft beer selection before ordering the ultimate pizza: The Magherita pizza. You can mask a pizzas true spirit by covering it in toppings. I've eaten my share of Domino's in the US, but The Netherlands offers other pizzas we tried. I loved the pumpkin pizza, but the tuna pizza was not for me. My husband accidentally had a slice, thinking the tuna with sausage at first. Oops. One of our guests is vegan, so we appreciated that Dominos has a section of vegan pizzas on the menu and offers vegan cheese. I wish the locations in the US did this. Pizza sizes here are certainly smaller than the US. I would say a medium here is about the same size as a small pizza in the US, so keep that in mind when ordering. This is true with many foods in Europe, and it's not a bad thing. For what it's worth, the cheese pizza is almost spot on to that in the US. The service at the Leiden Domino's was so much better though- our pizzas arrived in the promised time, looked and tasted wonderful, and our order was correct.

We arrive at 2:30, they only serve pizza until 5:00 pm. We were hoping for maybe a soup or small dish, and for the vegan with us, she wasn't able to order anything...but we were given the regular menu. If you're going to have a super limited menu, you should make it separate to avoid confusion. And seriously...who is open for half a day and only serving one thing? I am hoping it was something weird because of the parade, but I didn't get that feeling. So you might just want to check before going if you want lunch that isn't pizza. The vibe was cool, and I felt the prices were just slightly higher than I would expect.
