Upon entering, it immediately felt like a family-owned restaurant even though we later learned it was not. We sat inside pretty much right across from the action at the pizza oven, so we took it all in. Best seat in the house, in my opinion, other than in fact being one of the four that makes the magic happen. One guy prepping the dough and putting the sauces on, one guy cooking in the round open pizza over and two guys topping after it's cooked. The entire process takes less than four minutes. The inside is not what you come for, but it's plainly appointed, don't really notice to be honest. Our Insalata Mista was very nice and certainly enough for the two of us, and the pizza Cappricciosa the same. A glass of house wine each and the bill was €42. We would go back for sure, but there is also a Greek place next door that looks pretty enticing as well.

We had first gone to another Italian restaurant that was nearly empty, but due to reservations, they wouldn't take us in. This place was full, but the owner said if we could just wait a few minutes, they had some tables that were leaving. We had the caprese salad to start. It was very good. The mozzarella, tomatoes, arugula, basil, everything was fresh, and a nice sized portion, enough for two. We had lasagna that was a shareable size as well. It came out, piping hot, bubbling actually. But we made sure to save room for the cheesecake. Probably the best cheesecake I've ever had. The espresso martini and cappuccino topped it off. This place is quaint, and although super busy, if you have a little patience, it is a fantastic experience. Thank you to the owners for trying so hard to keep up with the volume. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend.

Reservations are often booked up for a year so our best bet was either take-out or walk-in. I don't think take-out is available every day of the week so be sure to check before heading out! When we visited, the wait for walk-in was over an hour and there was no way we were going to do that. Take-out is actually its own building and entrance right next to the restaurant. They don't have the full menu as the sit-down side but you can get your pizzas so much faster. They even acknowledge the fact that people will eat in front of the store so they'll provide plates instead of the pizza boxes to save on waste. They'll also have scissors to help cut your pizzas into shareable portions. Each pizza is large enough for a single person but it's better to do family-style and order a bunch of different types to try more. Their style of pizza has a bit of a larger crust and I ended up not finishing those. I tried the Oyster Mushroom, which was my favorite with the mushroom and garlic flavors. The second one was the Salsiccia and Patate (I think?) and was our meat pizza. I couldn't really understand the cashier but they were out of something so the pizza I got wouldn't have been the complete thing. I'm not sure what was missing but overall, a tasty pizza too. If you can get a reservation, I highly recommend dining in to try more things. But if your wait is over 30-45 minutes, just do take-out because I don't think it's worth the wait.
