When I called your store in Nacogdoches and described the problem, your employee, Chris, advised he had the part needed and would even assist me, a 56 year old woman, with installation. His words were "we're not going to leave you stuck". After the tow truck parked my vehicle in the parking lot, Chris and Pat both came to my rescue. Although the part did not fix the problem, they did not give up. Helping me diagnose and repair the old beastie waned several hours after their shift had ended (almost midnight), adding to their already long day. With all attempts to revive my Tahoe failing, Chris continued to offer assistance by driving me to a local motel and offering to contact an excellent repair shop (with free towing), the next morning. Bright and early the next day, (well, not so bright; it was pouring rain), Chris continued his assistance by helping the tow driver load my poor, old truck onto the tow lorry. As a single parent marooned on the road, hundreds of miles from home, I can tell you that the prospect of being stranded with a broken vehicle in a strange town, was an exceedingly dim one. At one point during the previous night, I had given up and become despondent. Chris, with his exceptional positive attitude, repeatedly told to tell me "don't worry, we'll get it". I would like to commend your two employees, Chris and Pat for helping me to the extent they did. I have been a loyal AutoZone customer for over 20 years and have never experience the level of outstanding customer service from your company as I did that night. Whatever you are paying these young men, it is not enough. The goodwill they garnered for AutoZone that night is immeasurable from so many directions.
