Well Batteries plus is the exception to the rule. I walk in as I was having trouble with my phone. A young guy who looked as if he was 12 came to the desk to ask me what he could do...I told him my phone is not even a year old and it was charging right. He looks at the phone then looked at me and said we don't work on Google phones...ughhh but he offered to take to the back and clean the port. No guarantees...needless to say he fixed it and only charged me $10 Highly recommend this place.

I took it back, explained, etc. The tech was very understanding and agreed to make it right - a few hours later they called and said the home button broke during repair. Fine, accidents happen. We went over a few options, which seemed pretty reasonable, and we ended up asking them to just refund the screen cost and move the new battery to my wife's phone, which also needed a new one. Not the best, but given the circumstances, something we were willing to work with. We came back after the second round of repair was complete... And after getting home noticed new damage to the screen in my wife's phone (the corner is now lighter than the rest, with a nice streak down to the middle). I'm honestly not sure I want to go back to the same place for yet another repair even if it's free. 4 stars for customer service, 1 star for technical ability. 5 stars for speed of service, but if it isn't good work, does speed matter?

When I asked the installer if would use a memory saver, he replied "not necessary". He removed my old battery and discovered that they didn't have the correct battery and that they couldn't acquire one even though the correct battery was ordered and paid for on their website. The presets on my car were screwed up and were a headache to rectify. It was very nice of them to give me a refund. Very apologetic, Thanks! The worst retail experience I have ever had.

The woman there looked at them to try and change them out. She told us we should take them to a jeweler instead, that she wasn't sure she could do it without scratching them, and gave us a recommendation for a jeweler that was quick, did a great job, and was cheaper. It's hard to find places these days that will be honest that way instead of just trying to get the sale. Would highly recommend them.

Both experiences were the same, quick and straightforward. I was in and out in under an hour. What stood out to me was the transparency. So if you're looking for fast service and upfront pricing, this place more than delivers.

After the crazy storm knocked out power to the entire area yesterday, I was wigging out over what…read moreto do. I run a small business from home, and wi-fi is absolutely crucial, as the vast majority of my work has to be done within hours. By chance, I happened to spot Batteries+ from a neighboring parking lot, and gave it a try. The guy who helped me out (MDJ?) helped me pick out a small power inverter, so that I could charge my laptop in my car. He fully explained the difference between the options, offered his advice on the smaller gadgets I picked up while waiting in line, and he even let me know that when there are storms, they check the power outage map in the morning; if there are outages nearby, they show up and open early. I went home and was able to charge my laptop, phone, and even plugged in my 4G router to supply an open network for anyone in range during the outage (gotta pay it forward!), all from my car, for barely over $30. Seriously, how awesome of them? As a small business owner and operator, these dudes really helped save my day. I'm ashamed to admit that I found them while waiting for Best Buy to open. If you have any needs for batteries for whatever, inverters for wherever, or anything related whatsoever, I HIGHLY recommend checking these guys out before spending money on related goods elsewhere. MDJ's service is the sole reason I created a Yelp account to leave reviews, instead of just reading reviews without an account. Thanks guys, really!
