As it is a traditional Portuguese restaurant don't expect any English menu training wheels, but the bacalhau is excellent and keeps bringing me back, or order the Frango (chicken for an alternative) very affordable prices also.

We also ate their pork rib special, which was so delicious, we gnawed on the bones for awhile. The only reason I can't rate this place higher is that the ambiance is truly high school cafeteria, all neon lights and stark walls. Otherwise, it was great.

The restaurant was empty at 7pm but by 7:30pm it was very busy. The ambiance was jazzy and friendly, as was the wait staff who spoke English and were very helpful. Everything we ordered was delicious: the fish of the day - a white fish filet which was crumbed in hazelnuts served on mashed potatoes; baked cod; grilled octopus; and a very interesting vegetarian dish called Emotional Cabbage, which was a cabbage stew served on a huge amount of rice. The desserts were FABULOUS- Nata Goes Asian, which was very thin rice crackers that were drizzled with the traditional custard sauce of Portugal. It was a light dessert but very satisfying. The second was a brownie with vanilla ice cream which was also excellent. We ended the dinner with a complementary pour of a ruby port (brand unnamed). All in all, it was a fun casual dinner in a lovely restaurant. BTW, the restaurant is adjacent to the Hotel 1906. The decor was funky and like some of the names of the dishes, had a sense of humor, Prices were fairly reasonable. Definitely recommend.

As we were exploring the grass and…read moreneighborhood, walking up the hill to the lookout point, we came across this lovely restaurant house and a small hotel. We spoke with the server who indicated they would have lunch available till three and after seeing the delicious looking pan Asian menu we decided to come back after our walk. We are so glad that we did! It was a brisk but sunny day and we were able to sit out in a covered patio in the garden with beautiful plants and flowers all around. The server Was knowledgeable about the pan Asian menu, indicating some of the specialties from various parts of Asia. We selected a pod Thai dish which included black sesame and Julie and vegetables and was one of the best dishes I've ever had of that time. We also sampled some meat pastries, samosas, and a couple of salads. They also have burgers and other "American style" meals which also looks good. But the pièce de résistance was a salt and pepper chocolate cake which was one of the most delicious desserts I've ever eaten. It was a chewy chocolate cake dark but not better capped with sea salt and red pepper corns and was absolutely divine. We can't recommend the small restaurant and it's very menu enough to anyone who is lucky enough to be walking around Graca - And in fact if you are in Lisbon it is worth a bus or tram or even Uber ride to get there.

Service: Friendly and helpful. Cant say anymore. Just made me happy. Food Quality: For around 8 euros you get a really fresh burger. I had the veggie Burger, which was more like a sandwich, but had a lot of really great and fresh roasted vegetables on it. So I can't judge on the meat quality. But everything was totally tastey. And the potato chips have been really crispy and yummy. Not drowned in oil. This was totally worth the money. Additional hint for best view point in Lisboa: leaving the location turn left and on the corner sharp left. You know, when you have the view. This is also not so croweded by tourists like this strange chapel.

The drinks are very tasty and they have local beers to try. Prices are comparable tor even a little less (depending on where you are from). The staff here are also very attentive. Everyone we talked with also spoke English (we try to start in Portuguese but we sound awful). They take their time with making the cocktails and it's great! There are a lot of them to try, they all looked great. The sangria is served only by the pitcher, great for a group (it's pretty large). The views are wonderful and time flies when the DJ plays some great music. Highly recommend to stop by.
