I got my nails done a week ago took them an hour to take me and my friend back to get our full sets the lady that did my friends nails made her finger bleed ALOT. While I was getting my nails done I noticed she didn't push my cuticles back and now it looks like I already need a fill. After we got our nails painted the girl filed both me and my friends nails and you aren't supposed to do that because it makes them chip I also got gel so they wouldn't chip they started chipping the next day. This is definitely my new spot and I've been a return customer since they've opened. First off the salon is very clean. I would disregard the other reviews saying it isn't clean. Yes, they do reuse the paraffin wax when you dip your hands in BUT you wash your hands before doing so. On top of that studies have shown paraffin wax is NOT a conduit for transferring bacteria due to it's chemical makeup and therefore cross contamination is not something to worry about (bacteria/viruses can't live in an oil based environment and this wax is just that) and this is perfectly sanitary. Bee and Jimmy are great as is the rest of the staff. They're all super friendly and make you feel welcome as well as providing quality service compared to other nail salons in the area--and O Nails is my number one pick for this area. To my knowledge they are the only salon around here to offer a service that is actually good for your nails (It's called the Healthy Nail at this salon). I've done acrylics and gels and they've never promoted growth and strength in my nails like this does. And it lasts so much longer than any other nail trend I've tried--so I'd recommend them for this! read more

Just came from O Nails Spa after a manicure. During the hand massage, without warning or asking permission, the female nail tech yanked on my fingers apparently to "pop" my joints. Her roughness caused my joints to ache. Fortunately, I caught her before she did the other hand. During the manicure, she missed polishing the edges of my nails. When I pointed this out, she seemed annoyed. The last straw was when she sighed when I was checking the polish. I politely kept quiet, then asked to speak to the manager who told me he would give me my money back. I said, "No" as I got a service. Unimpressed with the salon, the attitude of my tech, and would not recommend it. Unfortunately, I had to give one star, really 0/5 stars! read more

This place is horrible. Very unsanitary. I am a licensed cosmetologist so I have an obligation to report this to OSHA, which I am in the process of. This lady filed my SKIN raw while filing the nail. My nails were uneven and she was rough on them. Very inappropriate and unsafe. Considering the conditions of this place, please do not go there. Whatever you do don't go to this nails salon period. The ladies that work there are rude. I went in for a full set they would not do my nails the reason they gave me was they did not want to work over. Seven ladies in the shop and only two can do acrylic nails after 20 minutes of waiting they told me they were booked up for the rest of the day and tomorrow. Two ladies argued in there language and another came out and asked me to leave. Meanwhile the daughter of the owner and her customer makes jokes about locking the door and having a speaker tell customers when they can enter the shop and when they can't. I felt disrespected and I felt that my business did not matter to them. I will never ever come for service they made it clear that people that are on vacation is not welcomed here. Nails are crooked and I waited an hour & a half! My friend went before me and asked when I'd be getting my nails just filled in! Then girls who came after me, the guy was telling them they'll be up soon just ignoring me. The guy rushed and was on the phone most of the time. The Polish was even worse.. got my eye brows done while I was there and that was the most decent thing about my experience! I was going to complain but I didn't want to be there even later then I already was. Going to go back 1 more time to see how it goes with actually having an appointment . This place may look clean from the outside but it is not one bit with their tools and treatments. I was getting my nails done the same time as the person sitting next to me. The nail tech cut up her cuticles with the drill pretty bad. After that, they offered her a paraffin wax dip for her hands as a special treatment. I noticed that they used the same paraffin wax warmer on everyone. You are DIP your hand to community PARAFFIN BOW. THAT IS NOT CLEAN OR SAFE! They offered it to me but I decline. Absolutely terrible! Went in for a lip & chin wax. First of all, the lady came in from smoking a cigarette and didn't even wash her hands. I told her that it smelled and I couldn't breathe. She then washed her hands but it still reeked. When she waxed both my lip & chin the bottom layer of the paper stuck to me and she had to pick/pinch my face to get it off - which did not take the hair off. Finally I told her to stop. I left there with part of my lip waxed and wax remaining all over my face. And they charged me even after I complained to the manager. I had to go get rubbing alcohol to get the wax off and now have to find another place to get the rest of the hair off. Wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE! read more

Went to O Nails in Mill Hall because a friend had recommended it. I was sketchy because I had been to O Nails in State College and it was the absolute worst manicure I had ever had. I unfortunately had the same awful experience at O Nails in Mill Hall and while there found out that it is indeed a chain connected to the State College location. I asked for a gel polish French manicure, was given one coat of base, one coat of white tips, and one coat of top coat. Exactly like the experience in State College- my nails were chipping after only 24 hours and after 48 hours the polish was almost all chipped off. I had them done on Friday at 7 pm & returned on Sunday at 5:11 pm to ask them to fix my nails. Although the sign on the door said they were open until 6 pm they were already closed. I called & left a message & not surprisingly I did not ever hear back from them. The worst part is that it was actually more money for the low quality manicure in Mill Hall than I pay in State College and I had to go get my nails fixed and pay more money 3 days later. My gel manicures always last 3 weeks. Awful experience, worst manicures, terrible customer service. I would highly NOT recommend this place (any of the chain locations) to anyone looking for quality. read more
