I received a 3-month pass to Hand and Stone Massage as a Valentine's Day gift, and my experience…read morehas been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. It's been a series of issues from the start, and I can confidently say I will never return. First, when I tried to schedule my first massage, the soonest appointment I could get was nearly a month out. I finally secured one for March 11th, only to have it cancelled last minute because the employee assigned to me had to leave early that day. After waiting almost a month for this, I still didn't get the service. The next available appointment was days later, but unfortunately, I was working and couldn't take it. This wasn't the first time I've encountered issues either--back in October, I received a birthday gift card, scheduled and confirmed my appointment via email and text, and when I arrived, they had no record of it. I had to show the front desk my confirmation just to prove it. As a registered nurse who spends most of her day on her feet, bending, lifting, and walking, I look forward to these moments to take care of my body. But Hand and Stone has made it impossible to do so. I've called multiple times requesting a refund, as I no longer want the pass or any services. I contacted the manager a week ago, but when she returned my call, I was working. I tried to call her back, left a message, and even sent an email--and have received no response. Today, I thought maybe I could finally schedule something and get this over with, but the first available appointment was April 24th. The employee even suggested I drive 45 minutes to their Lancaster location, which is utterly ridiculous. When I asked to speak to the manager again, I was told she was in a meeting and it would be 1-2 days before I heard back. This company has been incredibly inconvenient and unprofessional. I've been to other massage spas in the area, like Elements, Riah Spa, and Inertia, and none of them require booking a month in advance, nor have I ever experienced such poor customer service. At this point, I just want a refund and will never waste my time with Hand and Stone again. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

I am so thankful that he suggested this because the way the nails grow out with gel instead of acrylic or dip powders, is amazing and it remains very beautiful for at least 3 weeks that I can attest to. The nail salon is also decorated very nicely and I absolutely adore the lights that they have and I need to get some for my home! Easy to book an appointment, massage chairs, while you're waiting, and overall just really great results for a great price! This is my new nail salon since my move here and I'm very thankful I found a good one!

I have been a loyal customer of this salon and recommend them to numerous people weekly and have…read moreleft positive reviews and referrals on multiple platforms. I booked an appointment through the salon's website for September 24 at 6:00 PM with Daniel and received a confirmation text on September 13. The appointment also aligned with my daughter's nail appointment with Deepa. On the day of my appointment, I received missed calls from the salon at 2:53, 3:23, and 3:26 while I was working and actively presenting in a meeting. I returned the call at 3:36, but it rang and went to voicemail. I assumed they were calling to see if I could come earlier, which happens often, and figured they would see my number on their caller ID and call me back if there was a larger issue. Instead, when I arrived at 6:00pm, I learned that my appointment had been moved to 4:00 PM without my confirmation. The scheduling mistake itself was not what upset me most. It was being gaslit by the gentlemen at the front desk when I tried to address it. Instead of simply acknowledging that the appointment had been changed without my confirmation, I was told that I had I clicked the link in the September 13 text to check my appointment time I would see the change. That was incredibly frustrating when I had scheduled a time that fit my availability and received a text clearly stating my appointment was for September 24 at 6:00 PM. If someone had said, "We made a mistake. We're sorry. We should have confirmed the change with you," I would have been understanding. Mistakes happen. Gaslighting a loyal customer instead of taking accountability is what crossed the line for me. I'm not sure I can bring myself to continue to support a business that treats customers this way.

The man at the front, I will assume he was the owner or manager, said they were very busy that day. I told him that's fine, I will make an appointment. He then said "NO, I'll squeeze you in. That was my first mistake. I should have made the appointment anyway. An older woman wearing glasses, was my nail tech, seemed to be in a rush did not do any of the prep work to my feet, before putting them in the foot bath. None of what is normally done for a pedicure, she did not apply to my feet! She butchered my toenails!! The cuticles were ragged, with quite a few nicks. She did a horrible job with the nail polish!! The pedicure was the worst I've ever experienced. Never mind the offering of drinks, do a better job of what you're being paid to do!! And worst yet, I had given her a fifteen dollar tip, for a very sloppy pedicure, a basic pedicure, a lousy pedicure!! Oh, and she said, I'll only charge you 20 dollars, instead of 50 dollars!! Like she was doing me this huge favor, when I had no intention to pay for that crack head job of a pedicure!! Honey Nails and Spa is on my "Dead, don't bother to go there!!" list
