I dropped into this local watering hole on a Friday around noon and it was very quiet. There was…read moreactually one patron at the bar when I arrived and one more when I left. Two fellows occupied another table. Hmmm, where is everybody? Despite being an Irish Pub, the owners appeared to be Indian. All the staff that I saw were Indian, including the lone server/bartender. Now, that's not a bad thing because I love Indian food. I was actually quite happy! I just never expected it to be disguised as an Irish pub. I chose the Butter Chicken (Authentic creamy butter chicken sauce served with rice and naan bread). It was actually quite good but not quite up to the standard of an authentic Indian restaurant. It seemed to be lacking some of the creaminess that I've become used to in butter chicken. So this was very good, but perhaps not as authentic as I was hoping for. The rest of the place looked like what I would expect from an Irish pub. The (faux) worn furniture, the dart boards, the pool table. the fireplace, a good variety of beer on tap. Hopefully the evening crowd is better. There is one thing that I found to be a turnoff - the strong smell of air freshener or some kind of cleaning agent. Tone this down for a better, more natural experience. Please.

Patio opened recently. Nice, spacious and social distance is outlined. Sign in with contact…read more info, hand sanitizer there. Problem is, the regular patrons, that smoke, now smoke and vape on the patio. Servers do nothing. Pathetic. The smokers never followed the 9 meter rule, always a cloud of smoke at the entrance, next to a daycare. Now they take over the patio. So there are so more patios that are not ruled by the clients. Too bad, nice patio, and great food, but I'll leave it to the inmates. Mackenzie's, magwyers, portly, st. Louis, even Boston pizza respect your air.

I visit the Falls Road pub for the friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, beer selection, and food menu…read more They pour a great pint of Guinness and have three local craft beer taps on rotation. For non-beer drinkers try the amazing spicy Caesars. The food is typical Irish pub fare but done well at reasonable prices. I highly recommend the 'Loaded Nachos' - the $11 "small" size is enough for two people to share. The Friday $10 'Fish & Chips' special with fresh-made tartar sauce is also delicious. This small family-owned pub has the friendliest staff in the K-W area. There is tons of free parking space behind the pub. Check out their social media for food & drink special days like $6 Irish pints. Falls Road is the perfect place to watch sports, listen to talented live musicians, or just relax with friends.

Regulars are vulgar and you will hear a lot of homophobic, sexist, and transphobic hate speech. Owners have allowed this to evolve. Food is not authentic Irish food, many pasta dishes on the menu and don't expect good quality. Pasta is served with powdered parmesan from a bottle. Sour cream and salsa doesn't come with the taco salad - you pay extra. Fish is always over cooked on the outside and soggy batter on the inside. Portions are small and prices are big! This place had potential.
