Excellent service, from our waiter but the bartender was too busy chatting with the old manager so we waited 18 minutes for our drinks. Mind you there were 5 tables with 2 people each in the entire restaurant at 130pm so it's not like she was busy with other tables. My California salad was excellent-, but my husband's French dip was just plain roast beef deli meat and flavorless liquid to dip in. I don't know what to say. It's hit or miss but mostly miss. We wanted something different than the usual. I got their Seafood Combo Platter. It was ok. Crab was extremely tiny, two small pieces of fish, 5 medium sized shrimp. Slaw, dry and bland. The french fry pallet only contained about 10 to 15 french fries. Here is where the problem kicked in. My wife ordered the Balsamic Glazed Chicken. One would think that by the description a fairly large sized chicken breast would be on the plate, well, this wasn't the case. What she actually received, was one chicken tender. Apparently this is normal because our server acted like everything was just fine with it. A plain baked sweet potato was also served as a side that was the size of one small red potato. She got about three bites worth of the sweet potato. Needless to say, we shouldn't have been charged the full price for her dish. No wait, attentive service, phenomenal food. I got cedar plank salmon with salad and smashed potatoes. Everything full of flavor. Unique potatoes that I have never had before. I really hate to leave this review but I have to. We were very disappointed with our food tonight. The $15 catfish dinner had 3 very small pieces of catfish. Be aware that today on 6/21/2020, this O'Charley's claims they can't sit more than 6 people, per table. They also claim this is due to state guidelines which is untrue as I've attached a photo clearly communicating the state guidelines are no more than 10 per table. We went for the Sunday brunch and both of our meals were terrible. I was very disappointed. When I was asked by our waitress how it was, I told her that it wasn't good. She was very polite and asked if I wanted something different. I told her no because both of us were very disappointed in our food. A few minutes later a manager came and asked if we were happy and I said no. I told him that the eggs were cold, potatoes were swimming in grease and the gravy was tasteless. Ordered online 1/20/2021 @4:15 pm for pickup @6:45pm. I arrived at the restaurant and parked in the designated area at 6:45 pm. At 6:57 pm, when I had not received our food, I called and let them know I had been waiting for almost 15 minutes and was only offered a "sorry, we'll get your food out as soon as we can." At 7:03, I called again and requested to speak to the manager. After a prolonged hold, Mike came on and I let him know, politely, that I had ordered online at 4:15 for a 6:45 pickup and that it had taken 20 minutes after the request time while I was waiting in the designated area. While Mike was polite and said the right things, it was obvious to me he really did not care and, in fact, hung up on me. He made no effort to rectify, nor show any real concern for the poor service. Best grilled salmon I've had in my life! My girlfriend's son turned 16, so we had to celebrate, albeit in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic and against the words of warning from the powers that be. Our server was extremely slow with everything, the food, forgetting so much like my honey mustard and my side salad with my meal. She kept forgetting to bring us our drinks and when she had the chance to do something while walking by she missed it, like taking our payment. We just ate there last night with some friends. My wife ordered the ribs and tenders, I got the pick 2 with pork chop and chicken. The ribs were not great, the chicken tenders were ok, the pork chop and chicken were horrible, very thin, very dry, and only warm, like it had been setting under a heating lamp for quite a while, the flavor was terrible. The Mac N Cheese and Tater Tots were very good though. One of our friends had the burger and it was very disappointing as well. The wait staff was very friendly. I realize prices are going up everywhere, but the price of this meal and the quality of the food have taken it from the list of places I eat at. O Charley's is not a bad place to go for lunch. It's got an average menu with good sized portions. Everything was fresh, and hot. They just don't excel at any one thing. We had the worst table in the house. Granted they are social distancing and not seating all the tables, my tip would be if they walk you to the back of the restaurant close to the back door ask for a different table. I used to LOVE this place. Good news: the bread rolls are still great. And the tacos looked awesome and a member of our party loved them. Bad news: you can't trust your food is going to come out in a edible manner. Over cooked and greasy salmon is what I received on top of a thin bed of orzo. The salmon came out already in two pieces and the orzo didn't cover the bottom of the plate adequately enough. What was supposed to be grilled salmon looked like a poor attempt at blackened salmon. Another member of our party was unhappy with his portion of chicken (it was very skimpy), and the smashed sweet potatoes were bland and looked like someone had pushed their thumb into the middle of it. The pie had no crust, was melted looking and and was very thin as well. Our server did her best. She had no back-up from: kitchen/expo/management The manager brought out my replacement of meal of the Sonoma salad and didn't ask as to why an entree had been sent back in the first place. It has been so long since I have visited an O'Charley's. My wife and I decided to trying out as we were interested in how the "kids eat free" works. First off I have to say that our son absolutely loves pizza. Thankfully that was one of the options on the Kids menu. We ordered that for him. He enjoyed it! Where the confusion comes to play is that if you order the pizza for the child that's all you get? Though other options give you a second item? My wife and I even asked if we could get a cup of fruit for our son, but where denied ‍. Our sever even went to ask. Then I asked how much it would be for a cup and it was expensive so we turned that down as my wife and I both committed on we could buy a whole jar for the price they were charging for one side cup? Also, we didn't get a kids drink as the menu was confusing on if you pay for kids drink or not? Some items said included others said you had to pay? My wife and I ordered the tocos and they were excellent! We both commented on how good they were. I'd order them again . We'd go back, but we'd also be prepared as we would bring our own healthy option from home as O'Charley's doesn't provide that for the kids pizza option. read more

Oh my, this was by far the worst experience I've ever had at an O'Charley's. Upon arrival we waited for 15 minutes for someone to come to the front and ask us how many people we had. The hostess was everything but polite. She didn't apologize for the wait or greet us at all. She just looked at us until I told her the amount of people. She then without a word, disappeared and came back about 6 minutes later and muttered for us to follow. We sat down and were given our menus. Two of our menus were regular menus. The others were like the one in the picture with pricing written beside it. Very strange. Our waitress was super sweet and did everything she could to accommodate our table. The table next to us had a child that wouldn't stop crying and the father got angry and started yelling "what the f**k is wrong with you?" To the child. I feel like someone should have asked him to leave because of the major disturbance he was creating and the way he was speaking, TO A CHILD. In all, I was just very disappointed with the experience. On the rating of an O'Charley's scale, this gets a three, compared to other free standing non corporate places, it would be a 2. The place delivered on a standard black and blue salad. Nothing was very special about it, but it was decent. None of my co workers complained either. Other than that, the service was a little awkward. I stayed at the mainstay next door. Staff was friendly but to go service was horrible. I ordered soup to go one day and it was not right. The manager that night was mike I think, I knocked on the kitchen door and he came and yelled at me for asking for service when many employees just walked around me even though I asked for help. Poorly managed and mediocre food. If not for the convenience I would never again give them my hard earned money. My recommendation would be order some other place if you can read more
