On a hot summer evening in Barcelona you will crave for an ice cold beer in a terrace. Believe when I tell you, that sometimes finding one is becoming mission impossible (and it doesn't matter if you are wearing your Tom Cruise custom). This one is close to the intersection between Av Madrid and Carretera de Sants (Badal). Under the shades of the sycamores, you can ask Sam, to have a cold Estrella de Galicia (a bit different from the local estrella, but with the same refreshing power) and enjoy the sunset, in a relatively quiet environment (it is a pretty busy intersection during the day, but it slows down after rush hour). And it is a good place, because the people sitting around you are locals, a good sign if you are looking for a good quality/Price balance. We didn't order any food but the sandwich menu standing on the door is quiet extensive and the prices are pretty unbeatable ( 2,5 to 4,5 euros). Service is fast and the restrooms are OK. read more
