This is by far the best souvenir shop I have been to in all my travels. Joe (JO'Canada) is by far the most helpful and will ensure you find everything you need and give you the best deals imaginable! Being in Edmonton I didn't find any souvenir shops until I stumbled upon O'Canada Gear and I was not disappointed! They have everything you can think of when it comes to souvenirs and even do custom embroidery on the spot! If you're in Edmonton and don't want to get ripped off by airport souvenirs and want something authentic then make your way here! I'm going back to California with my bag full of goodies and couldn't be happier, make sure to check them out!

This review is very past due. My Dad and I visited Canada from Calgary to Edmonton and Vancouver back in January and during our Edmonton couple of days we visited and bought wonderful souvenirs from Joe Canada. He and my Dad had a wonderful talk for about an hour or so. They talked mainly about hockey, since it was the reason for our trip. Sadly, he passed a week and a half after we returned from our time in Canada, but I'll never forget the happiness and amazing time he had visiting such a wonderful country and wonderful people like Joe. Thank you for the memories. I will cherish them forever. He was a huge fan of yours. Thank you for making him smile and laugh. read more

I had a great time talking with Joe and he has an excellent selection of one of a kind Canadian souvenirs! It was a great pleasure to hear he is Ukrainian and married a Ukrainian woman and we plan to retire there. So do yourself a favor if you need corporate sponsorship gear or one of a kind Canadian souvenirs drop by his website or in person from 12-5 pm weekdays! You will not regret it! read more

I love small independent businesses that are run by passionate people! O'Canada Gear definitely fits this description! This store is packed with Canadian souvenir items at every price point. This is not like the expensive Jasper souvenir stores and it's not full of low quality pride items you can get at the dollar store. It's a nice middle ground where you can get things such as sporty clothing, stuffed animals, games, mugs, pictures, hats, pins, flags, noisemakers for games.....just really anything that you can imagine! It's the perfect place to go if you are going to be travelling and you want to take a few items to trade or give away as gifts! When I traveled to festivals around the world, I took some of their tattoos and pins and they were a big hit! People really appreciated a small Canadian gift and it helped to open up conversations with people I would meet. I've also seen this company at various sporting events around the city. They are passionate about getting out there and sharing Canadian pride with all of Edmonton and creating a fun atmosphere with which to get people excited about being Canadian. They also try to carry as many Canadian made items as possible. Highly recommended! read more

As a visitor for two weeks to the Edmonton area, I wanted to get some good souvenirs for family back home. I almost made the mistake of getting typical stuff at the airport gift store and so glad I didn't. If you need souvenirs from Canada there is no other place to go than O Canada. A great selection of items that you wont find any where else in every price range and an owner who will go out of his way to help you get what you need. And if your not in Edmonton you can shop the web store. The absolute best souvenir shop in Canada. read more

These guys rock!! I had to get table favors with a Canadian theme for a state convention that my service club is having. I was very concerned that the items would not arrive in time. Joe assured me that I would have them in no more than 2 weeks. I got them in six days!!! All the favors were great and he even added a few extras at no charge. I know all my ladies will love the favors and will make my banquet the hit of the convention. read more

Since 1995, O'Canada Gear has specialized in a full line of Canadian pride, souvenir and collectible giftware, as well as sports, travel and corporate gear. Our unique 'Made in Canada' products are designed for anyone doing anything, anywhere! There is a definite need for an upper end, classier line of souvenirs, yet giftware that's compact enough for traveling. However, the biggest challenge is finding something nice AND "Canadian-made" to give to family, friends and clients from other countries...they all can't get maple syrup! Under the direction of JO'Canada, O'Canada Gear has shared Canadian Pride with countless individuals across the world. We are involved in some of the Edmonton Region's many festivals throughout the year, including all events in Support of Our Canadian Troops and their Military Family Resource Centres. Not to mention our managing several Canada Day celebrations on July 1st!

The difference was flabbergasting and an overwhelming relief that the chaos had been addressed and organized into amazing tidiness and efficiency. I highly recommend this company and the two owners Angie and Pam. They work as a dynamic duo that gets the job done in timely fashion and 4 hands are better than 2 hands when assembling some of the organizing features they come up with. They put together all the cupboards/storage and hung all the organizing stuff which would be damn near impossible by myself. They have great ideas and work hard and results are worth every penny! I am already contemplating some new projects for them.
