But the experience with the service/repair dept. or in this case person was something else. After having been misled and purchased a part that didn't solve the issue with our machine, contacting the manufacturer ourselves to diagnose what was wrong with the machine (which should have been the job of the repair person - troubleshooting) we finally found out it to be the timer relay. Dropped off the machine to get fixed in August and not even 4 months later the same part needs replacing. After contacting Halfords and informing them that the machine is down again, it took 3 days to get a reply which included a statement that the part that had been installed might be faulty. As this is a machine that is in use daily we opted to buy a machine that was available to us immediately to continue our work. So today we were told we have to pay for the part and the shipping. When I questioned it and refused to pay I was schooled on "how warranty on electrical items work and as I bought a machine somewhere else, to go and let these people repair it". We have never been treated that way at Halford in the past. Maurice was always helpful and pleasant to deal with and always found a solution. Today's treatment was the opposite of customer service.

I found my stand and a ton of smudge sticks right near the front door. I didn't need any smudge sticks but I know where I will go when I need them next. When I went to pay for my purchase I was pleasantly surprised to see products from Mother Earth Essentials as I have only found them at the Royal Alberta Museum until today. I would give 5 stars but they are closed on Saturdays. I was told today by staff due to the owners religious beliefs that is their day of rest which is cool, I give them credit for their convictions.

Represented nations include Kenya, the Philippines, Vietnam, India, and Peru. Everything is exquisite, in a way that only handmade talent can create. All the items are labelled with where they were made, so you know what bit of culture you're taking home with you. They currently have some amazing items out for the holiday season now, from ornaments to hand-carved nativity scenes. It'd be cool to have a tree covered in ornaments that represented different cultures from around the world. While some pieces are a bit more than elsewhere, keep in mind that these are handmade and fair trade. Prices and deals vary depending on the vendors; but keep in mind that unique tends to be more expensive than big box stores. It's mostly the same vendors as previous years, so it's easy to shop if you know what you want... or if you had regretted not buying something from this year, you'll probably get a second chance with the next year's craft sale. It easily gets crowded despite the decent amount of spaces between booths. If you can avoid using a stroller, you'll be able to get around more freely for sure. That being said, the butterdome is wheelchair & stroller accessible, which I appreciate. I also like how most of the food vendors are along the same area. There's always a bunch of samples to be had & popular items to pick up are wild dried mushrooms, butter tarts, bread, and maple products; just to name a few.

The Craft Fair is usually the last week in November or first week in December, so keep it in mind to add to your list of holiday events. Make sure to bring cash!! That's a must.
