Came on time to start the quote process and we were pleasantly surprised when he said the installation time for 2200 Sq ft would be 2 days compared to 5-7 days time that we got from other vendors. The guys arrived right on time and were extremely professional. One of the things that they do differently is that they take no more than 1-2 jobs at a time and that way they are able to complete it within the promised time. The 1st day around 10 guys arrived and by the time the day ended they were done with cleaning up, weeding, and in fact laid out the turf. Their approach to work is very systematic, and it was no surprise they completed the job by 12pm the next day. 1/2 day before they promised !! They take great care to clean up the job thoroughly and double check to make sure they haven't missed out anything. The end product came out very beautiful and in fact we had neighbors and others drive around the house asking us for their reference, which, we were glad to provide. Chris was a delight to work with and we could not be more happy. Highly recommend this local business to anyone who would like to go with Turf.

All of a sudden it was my fault for moisture causing this! There is no sprinkler hitting in that area. The only thing I can think of is the heavy rain that hit the area a few weeks back. I was told to mix white vinegar and water which I did twice. The film is still present. I should have been told this would happen if there was a rain storm coming but was not informed! Ask them about this happening before you hire them!

However, our pool budget left us about 1000 sf of unfinished space (we have a pretty big backyard). RP Synthetic was top on my list after coming across their IG. I saw that they had 5 star ratings on Google & Yelp and decided to book an estimate with them. I also booked other estimates with a couple other companies, but Rigo was able to book us faster than the others. We had about 9 estimates done for our pool, so we honestly didn't have high expectations that the first turf company would check off everything on our list. Maaaaaan were we wrong. When we met Rigo, we instantly felt comfortable with him. No awkwardness, no weird vibes. When my husband told him what he wanted, Rigo instantly saw his vision. When we asked for his input, he only enhanced our ideas and made it even better. He was well prepared with tools to layout what the design would look like for us, and also brought samples of the turf so we could choose right then and there. In the end, we canceled all our other appointments for estimates and went with Rigo. No regrets and his service exceeded our expectations. He never ghosted us, always responded to text messages and phone calls, and when he said he would be at our house between 8-8:30, he was there ready to go with his team. The project resulted in poor workmanship, an unpermitted and unsafe fire pit/gas line installation, and an incomplete job. These issues raised serious safety concerns and required further correction. The Contractors State License Board (CSLB) investigated this matter and issued citations, including violations related to failure to obtain permits, departure from trade standards, and contracting with an expired license. The contractor was given an opportunity to correct the work, but the issues were not properly resolved and the project was ultimately abandoned. I strongly recommend verifying that the license on your contract is active, matches the contractor performing the work, and that all required permits are obtained before proceeding.
