I had to write this review due to the previous post about NYX, also I want to state that I DO NOT WORK for NYX. Before I started "vaping" roughly 2 to 3 months ago I was a heavy smoker (2-3 packs a week). Using my "noobie" techniques, I "Googled" the closest vape store nearby and it was NYX Ecigs. One day after work I headed out to NYX with the intent of purchasing a vape starter kit and some e juice. I didn't know to much about vaping and reading articles on the internet could so much. The sales consultant asked me couple of questions about my smoking habits before making any recommendations to me, which I greatly appreciated. Later I was recommended 12 mg nicotine e juice brews and the innokin vv 3.0 vape. Two months later, I managed to switch from being a heavy smoker to a full time vape hobbyist. I couldn't have done it without the right consultation from NYX employees. Some how, I've managed to turn a bad habit into a hobby and some* of my friends like the change. I'm a walking incense candle. Why should go, honestly: - "Noobie" friendly - They carry an assortment of hardware (what you would find in any other vape store for roughly the same price) - Assortment of e juices that don't overwhelm you like other vape stores (great selection) - E juice price, they sell 30 ml bottles for $15 (they do have a promo going on, 6 bottles for the price of 5), which is pretty competitive to other places. - Knowledgeable and approachable consultants I hope this helps those who want to quit smoking, in search of better e juice prices, and/or want to be part of the "vape-revolution". Not new to vaping bought a couple epens/ecigs before for around $50-$60 only for them to fall apart after a couple weeks. Was looking to pick up a innokin 134 mini. Looked online for a vape shop close to where I live and found some positive reviews on this place decided to check it out. Sorry Can't remeber the guy that helped me out but as soon as I walked in was welcomed at the counter. Told him what I was looking for he told me they no longer carried it but showed me other options. He recommended the aspire nautilus mini kit. Was skeptical at first then showed me it and explained it was a entry level mod and was simple to use and had a great vape out put. Tried it and fell in love with it. The setup was actually cheaper than I was willing to spend, walked in there expecting to spend about $150, ended up spending about $100. Also wasn't sure what juice to buy. So he walked me over to the juice bar. They had a huge selection and the bottles were massive and were a fraction of the cost I was paying for them before for more than 5x the size. The dude was super patient with me and wanted me to try as many as possible to get the right flavour. Ended up grabbing a cola flavoured juice love the taste and vape this aspire nautilus mini puts out. This place looks very nice a bit hidden but we'll worth the drive. First off, I would like to thank the staff at Nyx as I have been trying for a year now to get off cigarettes and I can finally say I have not touched a cigarette in almost two months now. When I walked in I was instantly greeted by Frankie, the employee who was working at the time. I showed him my setup, (Vamo v3 with a Protank 2) and told him that it was not helping me quit smoking. He instantly directed me to what he said the best "bang for your buck" and most popular device out there in the vaping scene currently. The Black Kangertech Subox. He was very knowledgeable as he explained sub-ohming to me and how it creates a more satisfying vape in which will help me cut back on the cigarettes. I was a skeptic. He was so patient with me and also helped me set up everything so I could walk out of the store and instantly vape. He went through step by step on how I need to refill the tank, and things I could do to prevent ruining my new coils. It has been almost two months now and I am still running on the same coils they set me up with. No leaking from the tank what-so-ever. Best purchase I have made for sure. In terms of juices, they were really cheap. Their in house line costs $15 for 30ml and the higher end ones costs around $20 for 30ml. Atmosphere at Nyx is nice. Feels very cozy and welcoming. I will defiantly be coming back for more juice, coils and hardware in the future! read more

After receiving recommendations from friends i have finally decided to check out a vape shop. As soon as i walked in i was pretty blown away, it was very nice, filled with many different juices behind the counter and i had absolutely no clue what i was looking for. I was welcomed right away when i walked in and the gentlemen guided me through all the devices and answered all my questions. He then showed me all the juices and even let me try all the flavours they carry, its really awesome how all the flavours and descriptions are on the tvs above the juice station! I then decided to go for the texan tobacco and the juicy peach with the starter kit. It was really inexpensive only came up to about 100 bucks with juices and coils. He then showed me step by step how to use and fill my vape and made sure i didn't have any uncertainty of how to use it. I will definitely be coming back for more juices after i finish these 2 bottles haha, i am amazed at how i havnet had a cigarette in 3 days already, i used to smoke a pack a day! I'll preface this review by saying I don't normally write reviews for any company or product. That said, I figure I'll bend the rules due to the excellent service and product knowledge I received from both Kevin and Kurt as I perused the showcases at NYX. I guess like most people I research what I'm going to purchase before I actually buy the product. After I narrowed down what I thought I wanted (start-up kit) I went to NYX. Both employees, Kevin and Kurt answered all my questions and didn't even snicker at my E-cig naivety and blissful ignorance. They were patient, informative, but most importantly friendly. After they're suggestions I freely chose a product that best suited my needs. And then I was allowed to try different e-juices which allowed me to discover a flavour that I most enjoyed. I left the store feeling that my choice was right switching from cigarettes to an E-cig. But mostly, the experience I received while shopping at NYX was nothing short of positive and optimistic and in my book that's what counts the most. All this to say, thank you NYX! read more

Just purchased a kangertech Subbox mini a few weeks ago and im extremely satisfied with it. This place is the No.1 go to for E-cigs and juice. Not only is there a plethora of flavors to choose from, but there is help yourself style sampler bar to try each juice! Prices on e-liquid range from 15-22 which is fairly cheap compared to other places I have been too. Theres also a nifty deal where if you buy 5 juices you can get 1 for free, Neato! Juice flavors range from the desserty type to fruity explosions! My all day vape flavor so far has to be the dewberry cream by kilo! (hands down!) The service at Nyx is amazing. Being a newbie to vaping, I wasn't sure what to get. However the very friendly and knowledgeable staff quickly educated me and suggested me with a mod that would suit my lifestyle. The atmosphere of this shop is welcoming and inviting (and cloudy! haha!) but you definitely get the vibe of a local coffee shop, a nice spot to chill and shop. Great customer service! At first I was a little disappointed. I had placed my order on a mod that I thought was a different colour, due to the misleading picture, but upon further research I realized it was metallic and I wasn't a fan. This was the weekend and I knew it hadn't shipped out yet so I tried to contact them to change the colour 3 times without response. This was also during the weekend though. And it was my mistake I should've done more research. It was free and fast shipping. But when I got it the battery case I ordered seperate had been cracked. Could've been easily missed or even happened in transit. They messaged back right away and sent a replacement the next day. They actually sent me two, both are in perfect condition. I know it's only an extra 4$ battery case but this company really cares. This is a great company I highly recommend. They also had a great price on what I got, and they even price match. Dropped by NYX Ecigs today after being recommended by a couple of my colleagues. After hearing some successful stories from my colleagues who have used ecigs I decided to check this place out for myself. When I went to the store they had a bunch of different devices, some that look like traditional cigarettes and some that are different but pretty cool looking. There is also a sampler area where you can try out flavors, there was about 30 different flavors available. I only tried a couple but it seems like they have a variety of flavors in all categories. Although I was a beginner and had a lot of questions the staff gladly assisted me with any questions I had. Based on my needs the staff at this location recommended me the nyx starter kit along with the Texan tobacco eliquid. It's been 2 days now and I haven't touched a cigarette! I started vaping to quit cigarettes and been on and off it for two years , bought over 30 bottles of e juice but never..... finished any of them ! One day I went in the shop on Yonge st , as soon as I went in I was help by a guy which was really helpful but still couldn't decide what brand and favour to get but another employee came over to help ( don't know her name but super cute )she recommended a flavour/brand which I like and was about to buy already but she took the time and was like wait try my favourite favour/brand ( Naked-frost bite ) and she had good taste cause I decided to get her favourite favour , it only came in 60ml and I normally get 30ml bottles cause I never finish it , she wasn't up selling me cause the one I was about to get was same size/brand . To make a long story short I finished it! First bottle ever ( in 2 years ) plus double the size/ml. Over all great service and products , recommend for sure ! read more

OLD POST... THEN AN UPDATE 5HRS LATER Terrible service. I bought a Dna40 and spend over 410$.. 2 days later the dna40s screen started to freeze and scramble. Nyx hasnt been much help. I'll update if I deal with someone who is helpful. Well do I ever feel dumb.. So I called the NYX customer service.. Already angry, because I thought they weren't returning my emails. Turns out I had their email addresses misspelled. Once they found out I wasn't happy about my device they were more than willing to do anything they could to please me.. About a hour after speaking with NYX customer services I recieved a call directly from vapor shark. Once again another amazing customer service experience. I think between NYX ecig & vapor shark I will never have to shop anywhere else for a vape product. Great job, I will be returning. read more

I first went to NYX a year ago when i bought my first vape, the vision spinner. The employees at this establishment were awesome. They taught me what i needed to know, and educated me on what i was buying. I give them a definite 10 out of 10 for customer service. Their products are amazing. They are all affordable but still maintain a good quality. They have warranty and have proven to take care of any issues that have come up. NYX also has a very big variety of juices, almost any flavour i can think of is available. I've tried juices from other stores before and none of them could ever just hit the spot, so I'd always end up back at NYX. Overall great store, great people, great product. It was my first time in this shop last night and I had a blast, met some nice customers, had a chat or two and some laughs. The customer service was excellent! Personally, didn't like all of the flavors I tried, but that's a very personal affair. I did really like mini muffin man, cola and milk+honey! Very helpful staff, who were very knowledgable, nice and patient with all of my questions. I would strongly recommend that you stop by and try some of the flavors for yourself! I purchased my first ECIG here. Just today, my eCIG stopped working. I brought it into the store, and the representative switched the compartments for me at no charge, and without hesitation. Great customer service. I've noticed lots of store upgrades as well. They now have a seating area with TV, and it's an obvious reflection of their success. Definitely recommend. read more
