The men and women who work in this precinct are among the finest people in the city. Officers here have taken an oath to protect the public, and especially in today's environment - when police are blamed for virtually everything and can even be charged criminally and held civilly liable, literally for doing their jobs correctly - police face challenges every day which the rest of us can hardly imagine. People in the NYPD put their lives on the line while doing a tough and dangerous job. That's never been a cliche, and the risks they face are more palpable in 2020 than ever before. what kind of pct does not answer the telephone at all. even if it is a non emergency. this is ridiculous. why do they exist. then they want you to support them when people call for defunding police. wow... nypd shame on you. this man parked in my driveway i asked him to move. he refused. i called direct to 67 pct several times- no answer . i called 911 they said i had to call 311. called 311 they said if the guy is threatening i have to call 911. they said if he has not put hands on me it is not a threat. so he would need to stab or shot before action taken. but if you look at a cop wrong they put their feet on your neck or you go to jail if you are verbal to them// go figure. read more

Horrible service, treatments from this useless cops. Came with a friend to retrieve stuff. They acknowledge us for sec and then say nothing for 25 min. Then get told we gotta wait cause if turning off shift. OK then say that. Then how long it will take and get told 30-1hr. More than 1h goes by and nothing yet. Had a neighbor threaten me and put their hand on my face. I was told because there was no bodily injury all I could no is file a harassment but that the report goes nowhere. The assailant who pushed even said she has "family" who works at the precinct and there's nothing they're going to do ...and guess what ....she was right. Instead, I'm told by the police officers that unless I received bodily injury there's nothing they can do. They suggested I talk it out with the neighbor ....the same neighbor who said she was going to rip my face off. Yay....I get to go home and live in fear. Thanks precinct 67. I feel like I'm in a third world country. It's ok to be abused I have to wait until I'm disfigured or she kills me. Way to go NY. If I could've left 0 stars I would've. read more

When my neighbor on a consistent basis believe that they pay their taxes...this give them the right to play their stereo all night long could we hours of war in the morning over 70 dB all night long so I called the 67th precinct NYCbuildings, particularly clusters of them, are a growing source of noise complaints. Although the current code of 45 decibels, it has been interpreted to apply only to a single unit house could be generating 60 decibels of sounds, but there would be no violation unless a single unit is creating more then 45 decibels. The updated code will create a uniform standard of 45 decibels per house unit and mandate that existing units that exceed 50 decibels in the aggregate reduce their output by five decibels. Your over 70 decibel This is called noise pollution Because of their empty It's truly what I call a quality of life issue when a disturbance of the peaceful night rest is never achieved because of lack of policing of noise pollution... The community board follows the advice of the police thus in 67 precinct it's citizens feel it free to party all night long for as its a cultural thing The excuse is that crime is at its all time and noise is not as important, yet in Midwood where noise is enforced property value is higher... read more

This is the WORST and most UNHELPFUL police precinct I have ever been to in my life. I went in for a police report on missing packages because Amazon wouldn't give me my money back without it. I went in & had to practically BEG for them to do the report. I was finally allowed to do one, given a piece of paper & told to call back in 2 days for the report number. I call back & could never get anyone on the phone pressing 1. I finally get someone on the phone pressing 0 & he tells me he can't give me the report number over the phone I have to come in. I don't even live in New York, I was visiting, there is no way for me to come up to a precinct and I was TOLD BY THE OFFICER WHO TOOK MY REPORT to CALL for the number. They are rude, unorganized & a total waste of tax dollars. Just close the precinct & fire everyone that works there from the force. read more

Most disgusting precinct ever ! Everyone here is rude and don't have no respect. I told them about a recent police report that I filed for because I wanted to check on the status of that and all I got was attitude and someone screamed at me i get it none of you like your jobs but that should not be taking out on me and the last guy who I spoke to on the phone that screamed at me you need your badge taking away you are no help and you don't deserve to have one! read more

Takes three days to get a report number from this precinct. Kept calling and calling. When I finally received someone by not pressing "1" and press "0" for the front desk, I received this officer (Casper) who answers my call. After he tells me to hold on for minutes and carries on talking and fraternize with other officers (which I am hearing over the phone), he hangs up on me. Wow! That's real courtesy, professionalism and respect--by discounting people you are supposed to serve. read more

This precinct, nicknamed Fort Jah, has been staffed by some of the best cops in the world. Hero Detective Mike Hinrichs was assigned here for years. The people of East Flatbush are lucky to have them. read more

If I could give this precinct a ZERO, I would. First of all, I went to this precinct because a friends phone was stolen and the aslant was in the area of this precinct. We walked in and were approached by a female secretary, she was wearing a purple sweater at the time, looked to be rough around the edges to put it politely. However my friend proceeded to explain the lost phone situation, she completely dismissed him as though his complaint didn't mean anything, making sarcastic remarks and speaking in a nasty manner right off the bat, like we were criminals. Mind you we drove from Staten Island to this precinct in Brooklyn to try and get his phone. After her rude remarks my friend simply requested to speak to an officer, or someone with actual authority, she tried to say we'd have to wait a while we said it was perfectly fine... this seemed to aggravate her even more. Because in this precinct there is a slot in the door for the officers to hear the waiting room and vice verse we heard her complaining how she didn't want to deal with us or even talk to us. This resulted in an amazingly kind officer giving us more information on how we should go about the crime. He was the only light at the end of this long tunnel. To end this review who ever is the secretary need an attitude adjustment. Just because we were four hate to say it young white 20 something year olds from Staten Island she didn't think we knew what we were talking about or didn't deserve to get the help we asked for.
