When I got in trouble with these lads, my heart sank before they even said a word to me. It pre-sinked, you could say. I'm not a big fan of the 115th Precinct cops because there is so much bad sh*t going down in Jackson Heights and they never seem to be there for that. But they do often seem to be pulling people over randomly to give them heavy tickets for one thing or another. In my case it was $700 or my car would have been towed, on the spot, if I did not produce cash or credit, on the spot. I'm not kidding. It was not fun being the target of their ire. And since then I've seen many others who were the target being pulled over along Roosevelt and having their lives ruined just a little bit. They always are on the lookout for money and that is the main reason for their existence. Stopping crime? I had to do that myself vigilante-style. Which is another story for another day. But while I did that, a cop looked on and did nothing, and then later thanked me. read more

So sad that this is not the first time they ignored my 311-noise report. I'm not talking about noisy neighbors problem that can be resolved with good quality earplugs. I'm talking about ruthless drivers parking their car with obnoxious Loud music on the street at 4am! My report are often closed in 3 minutes after filing with comments such as "no evidence of violation". I am talking about obnoxiously loud car music in the middle of the night when normal people are sleeping, recovering to serve the next day, just trying to make the next day to support themselves and families. I get up in the middle of the night, following protocol to file report toward 311 first, yet this is the respond I received? The music never stopped until the violator has enough of it hours later... I'm very disappointed. read more

I wonder is there really police force in this area. It's common knowledge and my own experience that shop lifters, thiefs and beg snatching occurs almost everyday. Small businesses suffer because there is no protection for them. Every year I ve two to three robberies in my store and a recent beg stolen from car is reported and I never got any recovery. It's a lawless jungle and no one cares. This is united states of America and our police force is so helpless. read more

if i could give it 0 stars i would. This facility represents full on abuse of power. I've been living in this area for 20 years, and not one time that i have looked for help from the police in this precinct have i been treated as a regular person.. notice how im not even demanding full on attention and r e s p e c t. They are not here to help you.. they do the bare minimum when it comes to your situation and it always seems to be a task to all these officers.. and especially office workers. As a person with not one felony on my record during 2024 they made me put on a mask (while no one else in the facility was) made me sit in a seating area about 10 feet away from them.. this annoyed me but i stayed. i wanted to fill out a police report for my safety and once the big back lady in the back heard of my situation and the location in which it took place she proceeded to sigh out loud. while still in her office and talking to the officers she said very loudly why is she here (referring to how my situation took place 20 minutes from here..) once she came up to me she had nothing but attitude, obviously shes not in the right position judging by her outlook on her job. However, this isn't fair to the community. They don'r even take these reviews seriously. All in all, i walked out without filling out a report during my last encounter with this precinct. i dont think I, nor any person should have to feel belittled when going to look for help from our police. This tainted my view on cops for life. The last thing i want to say is if your heart doesn't truly lie with helping people, saving lives, or just doing your duty with respect in honor why work in this precinct? The cops are very disrespectful and they show no care about their jobs and the citizens of queens. I rather ask for a stranger to help me then to wait on the 115th precinct to show up. I called them last night at 11 PM and they didn't show up until 5 AM and when they came they didn't even do their jobs and give the car a ticket that was blocking the driveway and they said just wait or look for parking. The scaffold is not there anymore and the cleanliness around the precinct is highly acceptable now. Police officers are very friendly. They are community servers and i am proud of them. New York could be a real hole without the NYPD officers who really dress up the uniform to protect the neighborhood. I love when my daughter says hello to the officers and they kindly reply's to her. We live off of Northern Blvd. where many restaurants are located. The weekend evenings on our block are anything but peaceful. However, one night my husband and I felt that there might be a woman in danger, so we called 911. I have lived in several American cities and did not have high expectations that the police would be there in time to help this woman. I am happy to say that within 5 minutes, two police cars arrived, and just a minute or so later, two more arrived. My husband and our neighbor went out to speak to them, and they were concerned and friendly. Upon discovering the woman was not there anymore, they began to look for her and told my husband and neighbor to try an get some sleep. I was very impressed. read more

Really surprised me. Responding officers were super nice. Very informative. I was hit by a drunk driver on Northern Blvd. Called a few days later to see if the accident report was ready. The officer who answered the phone actually knew who I was when I called and inquired. It was like picking up pre-ordered takeout! It was waiting on the desk. In and out. Great precinct. I hope to never have to deal with a precinct again, but if I do, I hope its them. They can definitely make you change the way you might feel about the NYPD. read more

Useless. This precinct validates the Public Enemy song, 911 Is A Joke. When I lived on 34th avenue and 94th street which is a mere two blocks from the 115th, someone attempted to break into my apartment. I called the 115th to report it. The woman I'd spoken to told me that she couldn't report it because they didn't get inside. I thought they might be able to inspect any of the building's cameras or at least make some kinda of record of it, but no. There was another incident where I was assaulted on the 103rd street 7 train platform. I'd even taken a picture of the guy with my phone. Called the 115th and was told to visit the precinct and speak to someone. Went after work the following day, explained everything and was given a number scribbled on a piece of paper to call. I never bothered to call because...WHY THE HECK AM I CALLING ANOTHER NUMBER!?!! Who was it for? The A Team? Luke Cage? Anyone more competent and helpful than anyone there at the 115th? And my driveway is a magnet for individuals who don't seem to know that you're not supposed to block a driveway. When I've contacted 311, someone from this inept precinct will come out and see no violation. My family can't access my driveway but the good ol' 115 gives no tickets or ***ks. I get it, 115th. Vigilante justice is the way to go. ;) I guess that's why series like Death Wish and Dirty Harry were so popular. Because many others can relate to receving no assistance from the boys in blue. All i'm saying is if a cop is allowed to take longer than 3weeks to amend a report after personally calling you and giving you his word he's going to amend it by a certain date and its 8days after that and its still not ready. I should be allowed to hand things in over 3weeks past duedate without penalty. And they tell me "maybe he had an arrest!" I told them i personally visited your precinct like 8times over the past few weeks and im sick of explaining to you that "veh1 made right turn onto norther blvd from 108st, striking ped1dog". Instead of what you wrote which is "veh1 made right turn onto 108st from northern blvd, striking ped1dog." I re-wrote it by hand left my number, report number. Major issue! Went to pick up an accident report. Handed them a $10 bank check and refused to accept it. (Why would anyone refuse a bank check?) Ive actually been to another precinct where theyve accepted my bank check. A young lady before claimed someone was missing. The officer chose to question her concern instead of acting upon it. Shows that the police will wait for someone to be dead until they actually do something about it. "Emergency? Call 911" was his reply. read more

If I could rate 0 stars I would. My car was hit in the parking lot of a cvs 2 blocks from the 115th precinct approximately 9:20pm. At 9:23 pm, I called 911 to report the hit and run. The dispatcher said that they would be arriving shortly. I called 911 again at 10:46pm and no one showed up. My wife came to the parking lot and I decided to walk over to the precinct to try and get the report done. The 2 cops working the front said they were too busy and since it was just my car that got hit, it is low priority. So, basically they are saying my stuff isn't important. How is this allowed to slide? Two hours I could have waited, no problem. But, it's going on 5 hours and still no one. It is 2 am! This seems like a top down problem and I will be reporting this to the highest rank I can find. And possibly the politicians as well. read more

The officers at the 115 are kind caring people that probably saved my life. My now ex boyfriend beat me brutally. The fine men that responded were truly concerned about my injuries and even called to see if I was ok. NYs finest! read more
