The glowing reviews and cozy ambiance immediately drew us in, so we decided to enjoy a quiet, authentic Georgian dinner. Upon arrival, we were quickly greeted and seated, and we were immediately captivated by the beautiful artwork from Georgia. Our waiter was friendly and patient, taking the time to explain the various dishes on the menu. The owner also came over to personally welcome us and shared the proper way to eat Khinkali--Georgian beef soup dumplings. She even suggested we try the dumplings fried rather than steamed, and offered to take them back to the kitchen to make the change. The fried dumplings were incredible, with the butter adding a rich, delicious flavor to the beef filling. We also tried the Mitvadi, which featured tender pork chunks slowly cooked over charcoal, and the Chalagaji, a plate of perfectly cooked baby lamb chops that were as tender as they were flavorful. We're definitely looking forward to returning to sample more Georgian dishes and perhaps enjoy a meal accompanied by live music next time.

Expectations were high based on good reviews, the menu, and the pictures, but unfortunately it turned out to be a 3-star experience :( Good The food was mostly very tasty and delightful. Some dishes were truly delicious (Khachapuri Adjaruli and Megruli, Elarji), others were good with some flaws. See details on each dish at the bottom. The atmosphere and ambience on the patio were nice. Bad We were seated on backyard patio, at metal tables with perforated surface with no table cloth. Later in the evening the oil from khachapuri dripped through the table holes and stained our clothes. Metal chairs were uneven with no pillows. The umbrellas above the tables were shabby with holes on top. I pre-ordered few appetizers and a bread. Appetizers were on the table and there were number of flies sitting on them which immediately made a bad impression. There was no bread and we didn't get it until much later when we were already eating. They didn't have any still or just tap water and no non-sparkling soft drinks except home-made "compote" from feijoa. No juice, no lemonade. One of us had to go out to a grocery store to buy some juice for kids. They only had Georgian mineral sparkling water "Borjomi". I don't mind "Borjomi", but kids won't drink it! For each bottle of Borjomi (small) we got charged $5. The entrees came all at different times so some people were eating and others were watching. At the end we were told there was no dessert available. None. The prices on some dishes were ridiculously high and all prices were substantially higher than ones listed on restaurant's website. The most bizarre prices were on chicken shish kebab of 5 pieces (big) at $20 with no side included, the side of French fries at $10, and pkhali trio (three little rolls of Georgian salads) at $22(!). Food ordered Adjapsandali (eggplant salad) - though looking good it was plain and tasteless. I tried the dish before in many different places and this adjapsandali was by far the worst. Pkhali trio (three little rolls of Georgian salads) - these were good, like you would usually get in a Georgian restaurant. Bazhe (walnut dipping sauce) with Chicken - the bazhe itself (sauce) was delicious and perfect. Chicken was dry, tough, and had a lot of bones. Elarji (Georgian cheese baked with corn flour) - this was excellent and was gone in no time! Best elarji I tried so far! Khachapuri Adjaruli - fresh, perfectly baked, generously filled with cheese - it was scrumptious! Perfect! We had to stir the egg and butter with cheese ourselves though... I would come to this restaurant again despite all the bads just to have this Adjaruli. Khachapuri Megruli - delicious, juicy, with tons of cheese! It was somewhat salty, but I liked it and I believe it's supposed to be like this. Megruli Kharcho - kharcho itself was great with good amount meat. Some meat pieces however were very tough and hardly chewable. We ordered two of this. For some reason one portion had mostly good and tender meat pieces while the second had mostly not chewable ones. Chakapuli (veal with tarragon and herbs) - this one was good and tasty, like you would usually get in a Georgian restaurant. Nothing extraordinary. No side included. Shkmeruli (chicken in white garlic sauce) - the sauce was delicious, but the chicken pieces were so bony there was almost no meat! And the portion itself was tiny (see the picture) though priced at $24. I'm sure it could be done better :( No side included. Khinkali (Georgian dumplings) with lamb - the filling meat and the broth were very tasty and flavorful. The dumplings however were too big and hence had too much dough for the amount of filling in them. Certainly not the best khinkali. Chicken Mtsvadi (shish kebab) - chicken was fresh, tender, and juicy. Our kids loved it! Not including fries or any side with it was shame. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant except just for a perfect khachapuri.

I was born in the U.S., part Italian Catholic, part Jewish. My husband was born in China. We had a lot of traditions to celebrate at our wedding and Red Wedding helped make sure everyone from every background felt totally included, with music, activities, and live translation of the whole reception. From the initial planning meetings with Steven, we knew we were in good hands. He was extremely organized and attentive to detail as we walked through the full reception timeline together, minute by minute. He was a good listener, understanding the type of event we wanted, which allowed him to make very helpful suggestions for the programming and timing. Steven was very generous with his time in these planning meetings, and the materials he prepped and shared (timelines, song lists, lists of key persons to recognize, etc.) meant that we knew in advance that everything would go smoothly on the big day. We also really appreciated that May, our DJ, and Sisi, our English/Mandarin MC, took the time to meet with us in advance of the wedding as well so that we were on the same page with everything from musical styles to how to pronounce the wedding party's names exactly right in both languages. My husband and I also really appreciated how well the Red Wedding team worked with our main contact at the reception venue and with our month-of wedding coordinator, taking the time to meet with them in advance to hash out logistics and set out clear roles & responsibilities. All of this planning meant that the reception itself was nothing short of spectacular! The grand entrance, the first dance, the mother-son dances, the anniversary game, the hora, the dance sets - everything was flawless! Seriously, I have been dreaming about my first dance with my spouse at my wedding since I was a little kid and - just like the title of our song - it was Perfect. May did an amazing job as DJ striking the right tone for all the different segments of the evening. Sisi was absolutely delightful as MC - she was energetic and funny and sweet but still kept the spotlight on us and our whole family, keeping both the American and Chinese sides engaged and partying together. Multiple guests came up to me after the wedding to say how impressed they were with the Red Wedding team, and we heartily agree! My husband and I are so grateful to Steven, May, and Sisi for making our special day so special, and we cannot recommend them highly enough!

We were most interested in their bilingual MC services (as we had multiple Mandarin only speakers at the event) and were extremely impressed by their ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin as well as transition between various parts of the evening. Their DJ was great and everyone had so much fun on the dance floor! Overall we highly recommend Red Wedding for MC/DJ services (especially for any bilingual MC!).

Ceremony was beautifully decorated. There was a water/lemonade station set up but it was abit too cold/windy for that. It got dark real fast mid-service and wished there was lighting available. Good thing the photographer had 1 light pole for pic to shine on the couple but other than that, it was cold and dark sitting there for the ceremony. Spacious and clean hall. Cocktail hour was also in the same space as dinner. I believe the ceremony started late and ran late; so the passed hors d'oeuvres was already available for us hungry guests. Trays of hors d'oeuvres and champagne greeted us when we stepped inside from the ceremony. Dinner was good and decent portion size. I believe the staff was short staffed as they weren't available to refill water glass and check on the table as much. They did a few initial check (before/and after meal) but not visibly seen as much. Overall, I enjoyed my evening here. Oh yeah, only noticed the next day that we never got the platter of cookies/brownies for the table at the end with our slice of wedding cake. Noticed it on the menu but none was given. Left 10min before party end and nada. Maybe they packaged it all up and gave it to the couple.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday here. My family used this venue before for a wedding…read moreafter party which led me to using the space again. Although I had a beautiful and enjoyable event, there were some cons that led me to rating my experience only with 3 stars. Being that the event was during the summer, between the humidity outside, dancing and the amount of people at the party (the venue was not over capacity by any means, for reference), it was extremely hot in the venue even though the ac was on (I was later told one of the Ac units were not working, after the two people I had setting up did inform the staff and they said the unit was in fact working when it wasn't) This also caused the floor to be very slippery which caused a few of my guests to fall just from walking around (a huge liability) I requested for this to be a stand up event but at the last minute, I was told the venue is given as is (tables out, chairs out etc.) and storage for the other furniture can not be requested last minute. The owner realized that I did mention the event would be a stand up event prior to the month of the event. The effort was made to remove some of the tables and chairs but upon arrival there were still some stacks of chairs in the corner. Although it was not a issue for me, it was brought to my attention by a few of my guests and I just wish the original request to have only a few chairs out, was able to be fulfilled. Lastly, I rented a cotton candy machine to use but unfortunately, once it was plugged in, the music turned off because supposedly too many things were plugged in on the same side of the venue so I was not able to use the machine, and it was a waste of money that could've been allocated to something else. On the other hand, there were a lot more pros. For one, the layout of the venue is perfect for a party. There is enough space for guests to move around without feeling like a pack of sardines. There was an attendant there for the later half of the booking and he was quick on his feet. When the power went out, he was able to get it back on within 5 minutes or so and also, when there was spill, he quickly got the mop for us upon request. The venue is very clean (the white walls are pure white). There is also a bar area and space at the front of the venue where food and drinks can be separate from the actual party. Lastly, although there was some miscommunication about minor details for the party, the owner of the venue was very responsive, kind, respectful and answered all of my questions without hesitation. I even was supposed to depart the venue exactly at 1 am in order to receive my security deposit back but I left at 1:11 am because one of the vendors did not come and pick up their equipment but we still cleaned up the venue and my security deposit was sent back to me by that morning and I do appreciate that very much. Overall, this is a great space to have your event. The location is easily accessible and it is very affordable for 8 hours of use. Just be sure that the inconveniences I mentioned will be resolved prior to booking your event.

I came for a birthday party and I understand how pricey these activities get so very grateful for…read morethe invitation but the other Yelpers are correct. You have to be very vigilant with your kids as other parents treat this place like a drop off and sit in the massage chairs. It is like babysitting services for a lot of families - a lot of pushing and shoving by other unsupervised kids. The place is poorly lit so if your kids go beyond the ball pit and up to the higher parts of the slide area - it just feels like an accident waiting to happen. There are only like two rides - very loud roller coaster that looks like it can give you whiplash and a small choo choo train. The carpet is disgusting and the place is a very run down. The staff though is very understanding - a bunch of older kids stole a turn on the machines from my kids and I was able to get more tokens for my kids. Hence three stars vs two stars. Again unsupervised kids are running chaos here. There are private rooms for birthday parties that are themed - frozen, princess and superheroes. There is pizza, pitches of water, coffee, apple juice. There is ice cream cake for the kids and the staff does bring good bags for the kids. Overall, it is a good place for families on a budget but the crowds and the lack of parental supervision by these other families ... I would pass next time.
