I would like to start my review by saying I went to Dr. Uliss with one of my patient. And first I…read morewas a little scare, because I heard he bad comments about his staff and how rude and nasty they were to his patients. Well I got to say Dr. Uliss have hired new people and the new girls are great, they are very friendly and respectful. Milly and Yessie that is how Dr. Uliss calls them have always a smile on their face and treat every patient with love atleast that is all I saw while I was there. I think every medical office should've staff like that. Dr. Uliss thank you for being such a good and professional doctor. Just for you information changing your staff is a big plus. I wish Milly and Yessie the best and please keep being the way you guys are, believe it or not you guys make a big difference to the practice.

Dr. Uliss is a great Ophthalmologist. I came to his Yelp page to see if people would be complaining…read moreabout the waiting time. And I was going to rebut that it is well worth the wait. And the wait wasn't that bad. My first time it was so busy one of the nurses took me into a treatment room, or some sort of workspace (it was a few years back) so I could sit and be comfortable, being that it was SRO (standing room only!). He was also able to diagnose something in both of my eyes that other Ophthalmologists couldn't. And he gave me a prescription for glasses (I used to have perfect vision) which the other doctors felt I didn't need but I was getting headaches and having trouble driving. He really knows his stuff and is very intuitive and is really very nice to deal with. If I had a dollar for every arrogant doctor I have come across I could retire!!!!! If you're going to trust your eyes to anyone, Dr. Uliss is your guy!

I tried calling three times over the course of the morning, the phone would ring once or twice, then a click followed by dead air. Meaning someone was picking up the receiver, and just hanging up. When she did answer, She just blurted "Please hold". I held seven and a half minutes the first time, about five when I gave up and called back. Just to get the same response. Without even giving me a chance to say "Wait!". I just kept calling back until she addressed me(about 4 or 5 times). When I told her she was unprofessional, She argued about being alone, and quite annoyed that I kept calling back. You working alone is NOT my problem. You are not the government, and you're not doing me any favors by taking my call. There a dozen doctors in my book within driving distance. The proper response Should have been: RECEPTION: "Hello, doctor's office. Can you please hold? PATIENT: Sure! No prob. RECEPTION: Thank you...Click... Ten minutes is unacceptable when not calling Wal-mart or a government agency. The proper response should have been "May I call you back?". Note to Doctor Wald...HIRE ADULTS and pay the accordingly. Also Doc, I am not gay. The last time I was examined, you had the spotlight in my eye. You gave me some weird story about an Olympic track runner, ending in "He was a ...HOMO-SEXUAL..."(pronounced just like that). I got the impression you were looking in my retina for a response. It just seemed a little creepy. I told the receptionist I was going to write this review. She told me, Fine...go ahead. So I guess she doesn't care about her office much 2/5/15 11:30am.

He checks in with the receptionist and they direct us to the waiting area. We wait there for a while and he's called in to get his eyes checked and they dilate his eyes. We are then sent back to the waiting area. Next he's called in to take pictures of his eyes. Knowing this process from the last time I stayed in the seats so we can save or chairs in the overcrowded waiting room. After he takes the pictures, we're waiting again. We get called to see the Dr. Li which is actually a nice guy. He goes through the pictures and checks his eyes. He then sends us back to the waiting room to get more pictures. Why he doesn't order all the pictures he needs at one time baffles me. My boyfriend had given the assistant papers he needs for work before going to wait again. He gets his pictures and we have to wait again!!! We get called back to see the doctor and he clears him to leave. However we had to wait again for them to finish the paperwork. It's literally one sheet of paper. It was very simple!!! I went back there because I thought they forgot about us, but she was still working on it. I'm sitting here writing the review during this wait!!! I had to go back again because I couldn't believe how long we were waiting. I explained we wanted to go. The waiting room had standing room only. Her response was she wants to go too!!! We waited over 20 minutes for this paperwork.
