I had the Odyssey Lens with femtosecond laser cataract surgery, and I was extremely impressed with the level of care I received throughout the entire process. Dr. Rothstein's experience and expertise were evident from the very beginning. Having already trusted him with my first cataract surgery, I felt very confident returning to him for my second procedure. Dr. Rothstein and Dr. Staiman are both knowledgeable, caring, and highly professional. They took the time to explain each step of the process and made sure I understood what to expect before, during, and after surgery. The pre-surgery visit was especially thorough. I was impressed by the advanced equipment and technology used to take detailed measurements and carefully evaluate my eyes in preparation for surgery. Dr. Staiman reviewed the results with me and explained the procedure and what I could expect on the day of surgery. Even though this was my second cataract procedure, she never rushed through the information or assumed that I already knew what to expect. The staff at the surgical location were equally impressive. Everyone I encountered was professional, organized, attentive, and reassuring. From the time I arrived until the procedure was completed, I felt that I was in very capable hands. The surgical team worked efficiently while still making me feel comfortable and well cared for. My post-surgery visit was also very detailed. The appropriate equipment was used to carefully examine my eye and evaluate my healing and vision following the procedure. Everything was explained clearly, and I appreciated the same attention to detail after surgery that I received beforehand. The front office staff also deserves recognition. A special thank you to Alex for making sure I had all the necessary paperwork and for handling the insurance process. The office was also very organized in sending my medications to the pharmacy ahead of my procedure date, which made the entire process much easier. From the advanced technology and thorough pre- and post-surgical evaluations to Dr. Rothstein's experience and the professionalism of the entire surgical team, I could not have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Dr. Rothstein, Dr. Staiman, and their staff to anyone considering cataract surgery.

I've been a patient of Dr. Robert Rothstein at Eyenamics for 16 years now, ever since a friend…read morerecommended him when I was living in Queens. That recommendation turned out to be one of the best I've ever gotten. Dr. Rothstein's expertise is obvious from the first visit. He's thorough, explains everything clearly, and never rushes through an exam. Over the years he's caught small issues early and handled them with real skill, and I've always left feeling confident my eyes were in good hands. Dr. Kim Staiman Rothstein and the rest of the staff deserve just as much credit. Everyone at the practice is warm, professional, and genuinely attentive, from scheduling to checkout. It's the kind of office where you feel like more than just a patient on a schedule. A few years ago I moved from Queens to Westchester, and I never once considered switching eye doctors. The drive is worth it for the quality of care and the relationship I've built with this practice over the years. If you're looking for an eye doctor who combines real expertise with genuine care, I can't recommend Eyenamics enough. Sixteen years and counting says it all.

Dr. Uliss is a great Ophthalmologist. I came to his Yelp page to see if people would be complaining…read moreabout the waiting time. And I was going to rebut that it is well worth the wait. And the wait wasn't that bad. My first time it was so busy one of the nurses took me into a treatment room, or some sort of workspace (it was a few years back) so I could sit and be comfortable, being that it was SRO (standing room only!). He was also able to diagnose something in both of my eyes that other Ophthalmologists couldn't. And he gave me a prescription for glasses (I used to have perfect vision) which the other doctors felt I didn't need but I was getting headaches and having trouble driving. He really knows his stuff and is very intuitive and is really very nice to deal with. If I had a dollar for every arrogant doctor I have come across I could retire!!!!! If you're going to trust your eyes to anyone, Dr. Uliss is your guy!

He was recommended by my primary care physician, as my previous eye doctor had moved his office. I was very nervous going there, as I don't like having my pupils dilated, and I had been having some vision problems as of late. The staff was friendly, warm and welcoming. The receptionist greeted me by telling me how nice it was to meet me after we had spoken several times on the phone. She made me feel more at ease. The technician led me to the exam room, and was polite and professional as he took my information and medical history. They even take a photo via the computer to add to your file! Dr, Kruh was one of the nicest doctors I have ever met. He introduced himself when he walked in the room, took the time to talk to me and asked me about any current issues I was experiencing with my eyes, and I felt more relaxed and not rushed. I subsequently verbally beat myself up about not staying on top of my vision problems, as I had been busy with other issues, and he advised me that I should just focus on making better choices moving forward, now that I was sitting there. I mentioned that I was nervous, and he reassured me that there was no need to worry. Dr. Kruh was very thorough with the exam. He performed some diagnostic procedures, with different types of lights, that I had never had done before. When I was not opening my eyes wide enough, he gently held my eyes open so that he could view everything he needed to, to make an accurate diagnosis. And when he dilated my pupils, I was more at ease, so it was not as bad as I had recalled. When all was said and done, he took the time to explain the results of the tests, provided me with a new prescription for glasses, and gave me some sample eye drops. I had mentioned that I am on the computer many hours during the day, and he told me that people will often not blink enough when they are looking at a computer, and your eyes get dry. He suggested I keep a bottle on my desk at work. I will no longer be neglecting my eyes in the future. Dr. Khuh and Comprehensive Ophthalmology have taken away my apprehension of going for my annual eye exam. I highly highly highly recommend Dr. Kruh and Comprehensive Ophthalmology to anyone who is looking for an eye doctor. They are the best!
