Definitely recommend this place! I came to fix my cracked iPhone 7 screen and they saw me immediately, fixed it in 20 minutes with no problems, and did a great job. Plus, the cost was way more affordable than many other places I looked up in New York City. read more

Great location in Grand central, in the Metlife building. Easy to find once you get past the security desk. Had me in and out in 10 minutes - would definitely go again for any future fixes They honored the Yelp voucher and had great service to boot. read more

Had my iPhone 5s fixed within an hour, the device had water damage and great experience.

Professional, quick, and painless. After going back and forth with Apple's genius bar for months on trying to fix a cracked iPhone screen (they wanted to charge me $150 after waiting 1.5 hours plus at their genius bar) I decided to google other options around my office. I found these guys at noon, headed over there at 12:05, and was back at my desk by 12:20 with a brand new screen. I paid half the price and less than 1% of the time apple would of charged me. I would highly recommended NYC mobile device doctors. read more

Very simple. I brought in a Galaxy Note 2 with a shattered screen and had it back looking like new in just over an hour for exactly the price that they had quoted ($109). The people there were friendly and helpful and no appointment was needed. They did what they were supposed to do in the time that they were supposed to do it and they did a quality job. In all, everything that I could ask for. read more

Best choice I could have made. Needed iPhone 5C fixed, got in and out in 15 minutes. Got to see the inside of the MetLife building which was cool too. (Don't miss the stunning view of the Helmsley Building from the main desk if you're architecturally inclined!) Keep in mind you will have to go through security to get to the elevator bank so bring your ID. Great fast well-priced service, would 100% recommend! read more

I made an online appointment in the morning for lunchtime that same day for my cracked phone screen, and everything went quickly and smoothly. Like other reviewers noted, their office is located in the MetLife building so like most other office buildings you will need to allot additional time before your appointment time to wait on line at the security desk, get a building pass, and walk to the appropriate elevator bank. Once I was in the room I waited just 20 minutes for my screen replacement, which I watched the entire process of. No tax if paying in cash. Perfect and convenient experience! read more

These guys are great. I contacted them through their website for a quote and they responded within minutes. Traded a few emails back and forth (they wanted to make sure they had the part at the location closest to me) and dropped off my phone on the way to work. Was able to pick it up later that day with a brand new screen and working perfectly. I don't often post reviews, but finding someone quick and honest that does work like this is a refreshing change of pace that is worthy of recognition. I had previously contacted another repair shop that was a disaster inside and that wanted to charge 35% more for the same repair. Very glad that I now have a go-to place for when I inevitably drop my phone again. read more

Cracked the screen of my galaxy s8 & the display was shot within 24 hrs. The mobile device doctors had the best quote so I called and made a same day appt. The location is convenient, everyone I encountered from security to the tech guy were polite and courteous. My phone was fixed in less than 30 mins and I watched the entire process. It's been 3 days since the screen has been fixed and my phone has absolutely no issues. Thanks again guys! read more

Fixed my phone, which had water damage and a screen that had gone permanently black, in about ten minutes. Apple wanted to replace the entire phone for 3x the price. Great experience, highly recommended. read more

Got in the same day as calling and my LCD screen for my galaxy s6 wAs repaired quickly while i waited. I was in and out in under 30minutes.

Was in NY for work from LA and needed a quick fix on my iPhone screen. Being busy with work I needed it quickly, they fixed my phone with a walk-in and had it done in under 20 min. Easy. read more

Great, friendly service -- really fast. And they did a perfect job! After a major screen crack, the phone is as good as new.

These guys have been there for me through my mobile electronics issues, from an iPod Classic that needed a new battery to a Nexus 5 that kept losing connectivity, which they spent hours trying to repair (it needed factory service to replace the main circuit board). Today I had a scratched screen protector that needed replacement and they had me come over with no set appointment time. Their courtesy and reliable service is greatly appreciated. read more

I've never broken my phone screen before and may I say that they are friendly, professional and most of all EFFICIENT. My phone was fixed is under 30 minutes for a reasonable price and I believe that they #savelives. If I ever break my phone again (fingers crossed I don't), I've found THAT place. Thank you! read more

Simple, quick (10 min) and efficient. Was surprised it was in an office building too but pleasant enough experience. They were friendly and made some small talk while I waited in that short time. Was professional and competent read more

Quick, efficient, while you wait iPhone repair service. Fixed my screen in just about 15 min flat.

Fixed my iphone 6 screen! Great service! Good timing they fixed in 20 minutes. They give waranty

Service is quick, professional & well priced. Owner supervises repairs personally, in my case ensuring my iPhone 5S back camera was replaced and functioning perfectly. Flexible with Yelp discounts, payment method (Square, in my case) and in a well-mannered atmosphere. This is a solid *recommend*! read more

If you have trouble finding their space, look for the Metlife building within the Grand Central Terminal. Professional and quick service, take advantage of the Yelp coupon offer! read more

The only place that had all the right tools and equipment to fix my Samsung galaxy s5 charging port! 30min all done reasonable price very cool nice guys! They even sold me a cable that was damaged by my old charging port right there on spot. Thank you so much! Hope won't have to be back but in case of emergency I know where to go! read more

Be careful! The price they tell you over the phone isn't the whole story!!! They'll only tell you about the $149 iPhone fix price, but will neglect to tell you that the $149 pays for a screen that's not a match to the regular iPhone screen. According to the tech himself, the $149 screen has a blue tint that the regular iPhone doesn't have. Why would I want details about a screen that doesn't match my original screen? I went there only to find out that the price for a screen that is actually identical to the iPhone screen is $185, which they neglected to tell me over the phone. I called the man back to ask why he didn't disclose this, and he said he usually doesn't disclose that price over the phone because "the difference is so small". Why would I want a screen with a blue tint??? When I called the man back to ask about this, he proceeded to give me attitude and eventually hung the phone up on me mid-sentence. Very sketchy. The location is weird. Don't do it. read more

They did the job exactly for the price quoted, and turned it around very quickly. I would recommend them!

After T-mobile declined giving me a warranty switch because my screen was cracked and battery stopped charging I found this company through yelp. I must say what I read was absolutely on point. I was really worried that my phone wouldn't work again but took it to them and in about 10 minutes it was all set and back to life again, and they've very honest which is great!! Highly recommend them! Just make sure you call before you go so that they add your name to the desk to have the security let you in! Also you can sit in the café outside the office and have freshly brewed coffee for free read more

They were very professional, very quick, and very helpful. I would definitely go again given their central location (office in the metlife building) and how quick they were (I was in and out in 15 minutes). They also have a yelp voucher, which made the total price less than $80 to replace the entire front screen! I will (but hopefully won't have to) go back to these guys again and will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a good phone repair. read more

Honest people, explained every single step of the process to me. Used quality parts, and my phone was back to new. From the moment I walked in, until the moment I walked out my perfect was phone was 12 minutes. I felt like I was in such safe and honest hands! Thank you Abraham!!! read more

Fantastic service. In and out in 10 minutes. Phone (nexus 5) works like new and they had the part in stock. I'll definitely use them again, but hopefully won't need to. read more

Very fast, efficient, friendly and honest service. I took my phone in today to get the screen replaced. I enjoyed every aspect of my experience. The shared office space is very cool and you get an entrepreneurial feel while there. They fixed the phone in front of me so you know it is honest work. They work hard and have great customer service: they explain what needs to be done, how much it will cost and how long it will take. I work across the street and was gone from my desk for a total of 20 minutes, including elevator wait time. I would highly recommend these guys to repair any mobile device and will definitely be back. My phone is working perfectly and looks great. read more

Fixed the cracked screen of my LG g3 in a couple of hours- I'm used to the fact that lg parts aren't always stocked so didn't mind that they couldn't fix it on the spot ( had to obtain it from elsewhere). Not cheap at $120 but I've heard it can cost even more elsewhere. Only downside was the wait in the morning for them to open shop. Contrary to the hours listed on their site, I was told the owner usually opens around 9:30. In my case it was almost 10 ( not 9!). Also be prepared to get a security pass in the MetLife building as the shop is actually ban office located in the building so can be a bit hard to find. Just ask the security staff in the building if you can't find where to go. read more

Had a great experience here today. My Samsung Galaxy 5S had broken glass to the point where underlying LCD screen was exposed in the top left corner. Phone was fixed promptly and so far (a few hours), is working great. Experience itself went as follows: Met with very nice woman (did not get her name) and was told the LCD and glass could be replaced for $189 in 25 minutes while I waited. (The other option was to just replace the glass for $139, I believe it was, and I was told that would take 4 hours, not sure why so long. I went with the LCD and glass replacement option because the LCD was exposed and was probably only a matter of time before it would start malfunctioning--all my speculation, not theirs.) The young man working on it, finished in probably 20 minutes while the woman and I chatted. Great experience overall. The phone was finished on time (early even), price was exactly what was quoted (I also bought a case and protective cover for new screen for a little more) and as mentioned, phone is functioning perfectly. One note on credit card payment. At the end there is an option to give a tip. I didn't expect that and ignored it. I have a little bit of a pet peeve with that sort of thing, but won't open that whole philosophical can of worms here! Unlike another customer below, I otherwise had no problems with credit card payment. I was charged only once and for the amount agreed to. Definitely follow the instructions on where/how to get to the office as described by another user below. I wish I had read that before I went in! One last thing, fyi, this company operates under a few other names: "I Repair Cracked Screens", "Manhattan iPhone Repair" and "I Can Fix it For You". Those are in different locations though. My review only directly applies to "NYC Mobile Device Doctors". read more

I cracked my screen, and went here to get it fixed after reading reviews. They told me that a cheap screen would start to peel off the body of the phone, so I opted for the $140 one. Didn't seem to be worth it however. It started lifting off the body, and cracked. I went in, and they told me that the last person to fix it did a really bad job, and asked where I got it fixed. I told them they did it, and produced a receipt showing it was them, yet they still seemed skeptical. They tried to talk me into getting a new battery, as dust and debris got in after the screen had lifted causing damage to the battery. I said no, and I was already pretty upset. So I got another screen replacement from them because mine was shattered. Another $140. Same thing happened. The screen is lifting off the body. I went back in, and told them, same thing with the receipt. They didn't believe that they had actually done this terrible job. They offered to glue down my screen, even though it would happen again, as the battery in iPhone 6 is too big for the body, so they claim, and it happens all the time. Hasn't happened to any of my friends or family that haven't gotten their phones replaced at this godforsaken "repair" store. TL;DR: They replaced my screen, messed up my battery, refused to take any responsibility, gave me another screen that was just as messed up as the one before. Seriously people, spend the few extra bucks and go to an apple store. At least there, the dude fixing it isn't watching Adventure Time while "fixing" your screen. read more

Highly recommend these guys! They fixed my cracked Samsung Galaxy screen a while back so when my wife cracked her screen, I knew who to go to. I went in with my wife's phone and was walked back to their office. When we got there, the guy (didn't even get his name) took a look at the phone and told me that it was my lucky day. I asked him what he meant (thinking that he was going to tell me that the replacement screen I needed was on sale or something) and he just peeled off the screen protector, threw it in the trash, and told me that the screen was fine. When he handed it back to me, sure enough, the actual screen was perfect! Now, they could've easily took the phone in, "fixed" it, and charged me $100 since I clearly didn't think to check the screen protector but they didn't. For this reason, if I ever DO need to replace my screen, I'm definitely going back to them. In my limited experience, they're honest people who don't seem like they're in the business of ripping customers off. read more

I have used the doctor to replace the screen on my 5S twice this summer, they have been efficient and got me out quickly both times (today was the LCD and screen, it only took them twenty minutes to repair, all while I waited). I would recommend them to anyone. Convenient location. Bonus was the view of Grand Central and Park Ave from above. Need only to call 5 minutes in advance to get your name on the visitor list for 200 Park. Went to Apple Store after the repair to get a Lifeproof. read more

Quick, inexpensive, and professional service. My iPhone charger port was broken, and in 15 minutes it was done for a nice low price. Classy people in a very classy building, the Met Life Building at 200 Park Avenue, above Grand Central Terminal. read more

Efficient, affordable, professional... what's not to like? I brought my iPad (cracked screen) in with no reservation (though you do need to text your name in advance so they can give it to building security), took about 90 minutes. Good as new after repair. Centrally located in a well-appointed corporate office suite, with a nice waiting area. Very happy to know about this resource. read more

Great place to get phone fixed! They'll do it for you no matter the circumstance and won't insist that you get a new phone like the Apple Store will do when you have a broken LCD. Would recommend! read more

Great service. Getting upstairs at 200 Park really not difficult and Abraham was helpful and informative. After having put up with a cracked screen on my Samsung Galaxy S4 and getting crazy expensive quotes, was happy to find a reasonable price and a Yelp deal on top of it. Phone was like new afterwards and a few weeks later, when I started having problems with volume keys getting stuck, they checked it and fixed it for free even when it appeared the keys sticking had nothing to do with the warrantied repair. Very happy to have found them. read more

My three year old Galaxy S3 had difficulty charging. Sometimes it would charge only 1% per hour, on bad days. I brought it to NYC Mobile Device Doctors, thinking that the problem was a damaged charging port. They said the charging port was fine but that it was my charger that was broken. Upon this advice, I got a new charger at Best Buy and the problem is solved. They could have easily deceived me into 'repairing' the phone, but instead they were honest. A respectable business and I would use them again. read more

A co-worker recommended this place to have my iPhone 6s screen repaired. I called, got a quote, and walked into a very clean, organized office.
