Paws Country Club - Grooming

Today was my first time using paws country club grooming service. I've walked past this place…read moreplenty of times and never knew they had a groomer on staff. My puppy was looking really rough after not being groomed during the Covid pandemic. My normal groomer had a waiting list and was unable to see my dog for another two months. So I thought let's give this place a try. I am so happy I did. They are professional, courteous & so welcoming. I definitely will bring my puppy here again.

Dog owners beware if you want to support a business that will help ALL dogs, pretty funny if you…read moreconsider the name of this institution (the girls who get it, get it, the girls who don't, don't). According to their online description, they may charge extra for "aggressive breeds," and would provide an "assessment" to determine if they can help board them. Well I can tell you that an assessment is a straight up dog breed discrimination. Just mentioning that you would need to house your sweet, friendly pitties and they immediately drop you like a hot potato. No "assessment" provided whatsoever. Just mentioned that the dogs are pit bulls and was given an immediate no. Didn't even see or meet the dogs. Highly unprofessional and irresponsible. Why put up a note that they would seemingly provide service for all kinds of dogs when they clearly don't? Also a quick cursory scroll of the 5star reviews show that they skew towards smaller, "cute" dogs. Further evidence that they are falsely advertising their services. If you can only handle small dogs, please just make that clear so that nobody can waste their time here again. In conclusion: Parents of pitties beware of this place!! And other pet parents-- please make an effort to support pet daycares that will provide service to all dogs, especially if they have done nothing wrong, and have always been good dogs. Will be telling all my dog parents to stay away from this place. See also attached the goodest beans that are looking for quality daycare services that this place clearly does not provide.

He had a great time each time he went and although there were a few small incidents where he has been slightly injured, this was just due to him running around and potentially sliding into trees or branches like the silly goober he is. These were promptly reported and they made sure to keep the cuts and bruises well attended to. I thoroughly enjoy seeing the dog romps that Will posts to their Instagram page as well as the photo updates that are shared. The new tagging system that uses AI to automatically find Leo's photos within the daily photo sets is super convenient as well. The van service has been a godsend, especially for me as a non-car owner in New York City. And pickup and drop off is always very seamless. I continue to be a customer and Leo continues to be a client at Glencadia and I look forward to using them again in the future!

Our dog came home with a cut on his nose, filthy, and completely lethargic -- he wouldn't eat or move the next day. We rushed him to an emergency vet and discovered he had a serious skin infection and a fever. He is now on two weeks of antibiotics and has to wear a cone of shame. Total cost to us: $1,500 in emergency vet bills on top of the $900 we already paid them. When we contacted Glencadia, they refused to reimburse us or even have a real conversation about what happened. Their response was essentially: "you signed a disclaimer, sue us." They never emailed or called us to let us know our dog was injured or unwell during his stay. The photos they posted of him during the trip appeared deliberately framed to hide any signs of his condition. This is what you're signing up for. Protect your pet and go elsewhere.

They have always returned our calls and called us directly if we responded to an email or text needing to change an appointment. We get text and/or email reminders. They usually call the next day just to see how our cat is feeling. Their communication is 10/10 no notes They are reasonable (read on). Having previously paid for vet care in Brooklyn, Manhattan, San Francisco, Santa Fe and Seattle, let me tell you, the last thing I'm looking for is "discount" vet services. HoHVC pricing is in line with the excellent care we've received in large and small cities. Did I pay a deposit for our first visit? Yes. Would I pay a partial deposit should my cat need surgery or extensive treatment? Yes. Not seeing what the problem is here. If vet costs are an issue for you, please consider finding a pet insurance policy for some reimbursement. Their pricing is 10/10 no notes They are kind, thoughtful and informative. They ask such intelligent and important questions when you have a pet emergency and immediately you know they really care. The office staff will comb over schedules to find you the appointment time that works for you. The vets answer questions while you're in the office, but anything you think of after gets passed onto a doctor or tech for a swift reply. They are warm and friendly. Good people who really, truly care for animals are our favorite people on the planet and we certainly found that at HoHVC. Amazing human beings (bipeds) 10/10 no notes. WE LOVE EVERYONE AT HoHVC!!! Can't recommend their support, care and huge hearts enough!
