The team is incredibly warm, thorough, and genuinely invested in the well-being of every dog who walks through their door. What I love most is that their philosophy of dog care mirrors high-quality child care -- attentive, structured, and deeply compassionate. It aligns perfectly with the kind of love and care that I give Tucci at home, which makes it easy to trust them and feel safe sending him there. One of my favorite parts of the day is receiving the photos and videos they send. It's clear from every update that Tucci is happy, engaged, and in great hands. He loves it there! We used Dogger's daily dog-walking and weekend/holiday dog-sitting services, as well, both of which we and our dog loved! Unfortunately, my wife and I are moving out of the city, and while we'd love to bring Dogger with us, we would highly recommend them to any dog owner living in the areas that they serve. The best dog walking company! When I adopted my dog, Cal, about 1 year ago, I had my mind set that…read morehe was going to be in day care while I was at work, but I didn't take into account that he might not get accepted, and to my surprise, despite how loving and sweet Cal is, he did not get accepted to day care due to the fact that his puppy energy was misunderstood by the other dogs. That said, Brooklyn Tails and Trails saved the day! In fact, as it turns out, I think the dog walking is better for Cal than what day care would be. Cal also loves getting walked twice a day by PJ, who is the best dog walker ever. I think he's more like a camp counselor for dogs. Cal always has a blast and loves walking with his friends, who are all just as sweet as he is. PJ also takes great pictures of Cal and his friends, and writes the most creative captions that really capture the moment. I also think the walking covers 2 needs; (1) Cal gets the exercise he needs, and (2) he gets to socialize with other dogs. Then, in between walks, he gets to nap in his own bed, in a serene environment, as opposed to being in a chaotic environment like day care.Cal has a little anxiety since he's a rescue, so having him walk with Brooklyn Tails and Trails is so much better for him. I also love having the peace of mind that Cal is safe while I'm at work, and being taken care of, as PJ comes to walk him twice a day. I highly recommend Brooklyn Tails and Trails, and if you live in DUMBO, you'll get to have PJ walk your dog. I've also met some of the other walkers, and they are all great, so no matter which neighborhood you live in, you'll have someone reliable walking your dog.

I was a tiny bit jealous (lol), but mostly just so happy knowing how loved and cared for they were. She truly treated them like her own. I had an unruly beast of a puppy when she first came along this summer. She knew right away how to keep him in behavior mode, while still being very sweet to him. She's not one of those lazy dogwalkers either, doing the minimum as many do. It is great for me as I often come home from work to a pleasantly exhausted dog. Now we've hit fall and I feel like I have a much more manageable creature to return home to after a long day of work. In addition to being one of the more trustworthy and honest people I have ever hired in such a capacity, she's also very available and when she can't assist me, she knows who else to refer me to. Oh, and she has a way with people too - after dogsitting once, she left me a vase of flowers and a nice note on a card, reporting all the things my dog got to do while I was away. I would recommend Rebecca to anyone looking for a responsible & considerate person to trust their animal friend with.

She had no problem handling the rules of the house in that regard. Also, our dog is a rescue - he was neglected and abused before we came across him, so he doesn't trust people readily. She was not intimidated at all and, although he was a bit wary at first, she soon buttered him up. In addition to being clear about who was the alpha, she gave him great rub-downs - after years of neglect, he really needs a lot of affection in order to trust people. She clearly had a natural grasp of canine hierarchy and dog mentality and once she got him to trust her, she even started to offer him some obedience training. He always ended up very orderly after an afternoon with her. My fiance and I were very pleased! We, and our four cats and dog, highly recommend this great dogwalker and petsitter!
