While the initial HVAC and plumbing work appeared acceptable at first, multiple issues became apparent over time. Some installations required repeated adjustments, certain problems were not properly diagnosed the first time, and there were ongoing airflow issues that were never fully resolved. This led to rework and ongoing troubleshooting that a homeowner should not expect from a professional contractor. More concerning was how accountability and professionalism were handled afterward. Items and tools belonging to me that were borrowed during the work were not returned when requested, and communication around resolving this was dismissive rather than professional. This is something consumers should be mindful of when allowing access to their home and property. Based on the quality control, the need for repeated corrections, and how disputes and borrowed property were handled, I can no longer recommend this contractor. I'm sharing this so future customers can make an informed decision and set very clear expectations up front.

An electrician then came out but couldn't figure out how to connect things. Frank painstakingly tested all of the wires in varying combinations and while connecting and disconnecting thermostat and condenser wires to figure out the mess of wires. Eventually, he got it working. He's also an extremely nice guy, who charged something very reasonable given the amount of time he spent working everything out. We will definitely be calling Frank next time we need HVAC help.

I was charged $525. ! Being a businessman for many years I do understand that there is a cost of operation to all materials on a job.However,this is truly price gouging. I will also contact the Attorney General's office for their opinion. It was not long ago that they locked up the CEO ( Martin Shreli ) for a 500 to 600 percent markup of the epa Pen.

Before leaving, he asked me to make sure that the heat was working in all 3 "zones" in the house and I checked the hot water as well. I could not have asked for anything better. Couldn't ask for a better system or company to install and work with. Scott is a super nice guy and very conscientious. Because of the great results we had with the first purchase, we selected Carey & Walsh for our second Heater, a boiler system. Weil McLain. Scott and team did a great job with the installation. Went seamlessly. We also purchased two WiFi thermostats that also worked excellent. We did have a glitch with the furnace a year later but Carey and Walsh along with the oil company resolved the issue. In fact, Scott Carey called me off hours to explain the situation and help me out. I highly recommend Carey & Walsh for all your furnace & boiler needs.
