It was APU's homecoming, and the stadium was PACKED!! Every seat in the stadium offers a GREAT, clear view of the field; all seats on the aluminum benches offer back support; and the stadium was very clean, well-maintained, and easy to access for all fans. Parking is available in a huge parking lot adjacent to the stadium. For this game, parking was also available on the APU campus, and fans were provided free shuttle service to the stadium in trolleybuses This was a fun, exciting, and memorable venue to watch my favorite sport, football.

Rude, unprofessional, laughable excuse for campus security…read more I was visiting this campus on a Sunday evening, driving into 98% empty parking lot by the gym where my son's volleyball club was practicing. I pulled up next to the kiosk to pay for parking. As it was my first time doing so, I took the time to read thru the payment app and make sure everything was correct. After I completed my payment, a security guard comes and pulls up right next to me rudely saying "I noticed you've been parked here for a minute" implying I was trying to get away without paying. As I was about to explain that it was my first time and I completed my payment, he interrupted me saying "hold on let me finish." He goes on with whatever he has to say, obviously needing to flex his "status." I merely held up my phone to show him "payment complete" and he still goes on about not backing into spaces and what not. Whatever dude. I hope you find meaning in life.

Back in January I scheduled an AutoCAD certification exam in this school, and this is a HUGE, beautiful community college. One of my high school friends used to go there before transferring to CPP- they offer lots of programs including engineering, arts, and science. The library is really nice and big too way larger than other schools- and they have more up to date and clean classrooms and facilities. Even the bungalow building on the east side of campus is old, but they renovated the inside including the testing center- even though I didn't pass the first attempt of my AutoCAD exam, the proctor marina still ensured I had a great experience with the certification exam process. She understands that I needed accommodations from ACCESS even as a guest coming from a different school that needs to take AutoCAD exam there as my school doesn't offer Pearson VUE testing- so she helped plan it ahead and allowed me to bring my snacks and water for the test breaks. She still remained positive even if my exam didn't go well and overall with the services the school provides including the basic needs center they do a lot of great things for the students, even if you aren't a Mountie you can visit and appreciate the sculptures that are all there- my favourite is the friendship stone :)

The meet is touted as 'the world's largest cross country invitational' I hate to admit this but based on the website, I thought it was going to be a complete madhouse but it was so well organized! There is a parking fee (paid on site and in cash) and a per person spectator fee (which you can pay online or in person). My review is two fold- a spectators view and a runners view: Spectator: You're in a huge stadium, and while you can only see the jumbotron, you're basically getting a birdeye view of the race because there are drones and cameras on the course. The sports announcer gives everyone in the arena a play by play so you aren't missing a thing. Runner: My son said the course was nice- a combination of asphalt and trail running. There was plenty of merch available and it wasn't too overpriced. The t-shirts are nice quality. Overall, this is one of the most organized invitationals I've been to. Well done!

Initially, I chose this program because it was one of the most affordable CNA programs in the area. Many of the other schools I looked into were charging well over $2,000, so this program stood out as a great option financially. However, after starting the program, I realized the value went far beyond the cost. Mrs. Villalobos is truly one of the best teachers I have ever had. I am currently a master's student, I have experience in the medical field, and I have been through a lot of schooling, so I do not say that lightly. Mrs. Villalobos is extremely knowledgeable about the healthcare field and brings a lot of real experience into the classroom. She is patient, supportive, and genuinely passionate about what she does. It is rare to find an instructor who not only teaches well, but also truly cares about her students and wants them to succeed. She created a learning environment where I felt encouraged, prepared, and confident. I cannot recommend this program enough, whether you are someone with zero healthcare experience or someone returning to get recertified.
