Every step of the way…read moreof our pavement sealing and curb replacement project, we had a negative experience with Nys Enterprises that was punctuated by misrepresentations and unprofessional - and occasionally aggressive - communications. The issues we had were as follows: - When we walked the job with owner Steve Nys, he said he could replace our curbs and quoted the job. After signing the contract, he informed us he did not have the template to match the size of our existing curbs and therefore could not complete the work he had agreed to. This was his first breach of contract. - He agreed to do crack fill on our pavement's largest cracks. Repeatedly, we told Steve we were not satisfied with the job and his replies were full of excuses and far too many exclamation points (so many it felt aggressive) but no actual commitment to provide a satisfactory result. This was Steve's second breach of contract. - His crews were always late, on at least two occasions completing work in the dark (this shows in the attached photos). - Finally we realized we weren't going to get a good result so we just asked Nys to paint our existing curbs. This job was begun at dusk and finished in the dark, and the process involved one worker driving what looked like a homemade cart while another sprayed the curbs with a long wand, leading to a massive amount of overspray and even the branch of a tree being painted red. Just a few months later, the paint is already peeling as no effort was made to clean or even blow off the curb surface before paint was applied. This was Nys Enterprises' third breach of contract. Because every bit of feedback or request for better workmanship was met with excuses and, frankly, aggression both in person and over email, in the end we paid the agreed-upon price just to end our relationship with Nys. I am glad to see that others have had positive experiences working with Nys Enterprises, but for whatever reason, ours was the exact opposite.

Once the windows arrived they scheduled installation within the week. We needed to replace 10 aluminum frame windows and a sliding glass door. Some were fairly tricky to deal with. Green City managed to replace all but the door in a single day, and they came back promptly the next morning to finish the job. There wasn't a single piece of flashing that not dented or wrinkled. None of the different roof planes lined up. In several areas, the rows were not parallel to one another. One third of the exposed nail and screw heads were incompletely sealed. The shakes were not the shakes I picked and did not match our garage. There was damage to our house and greenhouse without any mention of it. I never saw a supervisor and calls to the office were ignored. The owner refused to talk to me until I refused payment. Although we renegotiated the total, the owner and his company are an unfunny joke.

In addition to doing the job requested, they also helped with a temporary repair to our damaged gutters.
