Do yourself a favor and do not go here. Go literally anywhere else. I wish I had seen the Yelp reviews prior to taking the class, because all of the one star reviews are accurate. I don't have a clue how the American Heart Association (AHA) feels comfortable with her teaching their BLS, CPR, and AED material. First, Linda has no regard for others time. The class was supposed to be MAX 4 hours, and she was rushing to get us out of there after 5 hours because she had another class coming in. She took all the time in the world to say whatever irrelevant stories she had to say, only to rush us through the hands on portion of it. I learn quickly, but I ask a few questions for clarity (e.g. where do you check the pulse on an infant?) and she was very aggressive and condescending in her responses. She had a lot to chat about with the one doctor in our class, taking up everyone else's time. It seems she wishes she was a doctor herself. She was dismissive of the nursing student in my class and completely condescending towards me. I have been CPR certified before, so I kind of know what I'm doing to begin with. If I could leave zero stars , I would. The class was scheduled to be 4 hours and went 6.5 hours. The instructor does not value people's time at all. We were made to purchase a $20 book as well but ended up not even needing to open it once. The instructor was extremely abrasive and yelled at students constantly. I understand 100% that CPR is so important but she would literally scream at people for no good reason. If you did one thing wrong, she would glare at the student and yell at them loudly in front of everyone. It was honestly extremely embarrassing and I left that class not feeling I learned anything and that everyone in that class was made to be a fool. Linda was extremely rude and made her class all about her own opinions on drugs and rarely spoke of actual proven science. I would not recommend this class to an enemy. read more

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. I want to start off by saying I never review things, but this was so off-the-charts unprofessional. Linda is aggressive, and so uncomfortable to work with. I have taken multiple CPR classes and similar certifications, and this was an absolute nightmare. From the random rants that have zero scientific backing, wrong techniques, and just generalized VERY unbearable atmosphere, I do not know how the AHA is associated with this woman. I have no idea how she is still in business. As others have said she does not respect people's time, makes you purchase something you do not need, and don't even think about asking her questions or disagreeing with her unless you want to get verbally assaulted in front of a bunch of people. MOST people in healthcare like to listen to things they have not heard of, something new that may work better, or update old information but she takes it as an insult. Very strange for someone in this industry. Learning CPR can be difficult, and can make a person feel very venerable since you have to perform in front of a group. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!! I took this class during Covid. No one was seated 6 feet apart. Nor were the students made to keep their space from eachother. The class was to be four hours long. It probably would've been had the instructor stay on topic. She went off topic several times. Spoke a lot about opioid use. The class ended up going for six hours. She never offered so much as a five minute break. We were made to purchase an ebook that we never once were asked to reference. She sat in her chair and yelled out what she expected us to do. If anyone did the slightest thing wrong she would scream at them. I've never felt more exhausted and mentally drained then I did leaving this woman's class. CPR can be emotional to learn. This instructor belittles her students. And is quite frankly, a bully. I left there not feeling confident in CPR. What a waste of money and time. read more

Great provider for CPR classes. Instructor was knowledgeable and helpful. Went for the BLS Provider skills session after completing the online course through the AHA website. As long as you actually pay attention to the course online and know your stuff the skills session will go very smoothly and you will learn a lot! read more

This instructor teaches students to yell during codes. If you do not yell during her class she screams at you and screams at you making you perform it again. In a code, we as nurses are taught to be calm, and communicate. Not yell and scream. She is completely unprofessional and has made multiple people cry. DONT GO HERE. read more
