There are two interconnected buildings, one built in 1920 and the other in 1972. Office space and light manufacturing are potential uses. ADX and Portland Made Collective partnered in their opening party, which featured local artisan food and drink. There was an acoustic band including an upright piano with a built in video screen controlled by the keyboard designed by deaf artists to bring a visual experience of music to deaf people http://www.cymaspace.org/technology/. With manufacturing being displaced from the Central East Side, this is a welcome addition. And if your maker business scales up, this is a place to consider. It is part of the Portland Made http://www.portlandmade.com/the-industrial-grange/ Industrial Grange program. As Sun Ra says, "space is the place." The Iron Fireman Collective is a new raw flex office and manufacturing space.

Utah had absolutely no work available at the time and was still deep in the Depression. They followed my grandmother's two younger brothers to work in the Kaiser Shipyards (the prepping for WWII was going on even though war had not been declared) and it saved them. They picked fruit for ten cents a basket as they drove to Portland. Talk about modern-day pioneers! Grandpa, grandma, my ten-year-old mother, and, her four-year-old brother coming across country based on faith that good things would happen. It is here at the now renovated Iron Fireman CollectIvee that my Grandpa got a badly-needed job as a machinist. For some reason, I can't save this as a draft. Ron and I plan to visit soon to get a look at the building, take pictures, and finish the review.

Beware of this building. The elevator is often inoperable; the water has been shut off…read moresporadically and there is no guaranteed parking, especially in summer, despite what is promised. Additionally, their portal is faulty. I gave notice electronically to end my lease (the ONLY way they will accept it) and they refused to honor it. Horrible experience.

You'll find multiple negative reviews outlining this company's predatory billing practices. There are plenty of other, more ethical options. It took over 6 WEEKS to get any kind of response after I was charged incorrectly. Due to their inaction and refusal to even read the proof provided by my bank, I am left with no choice but to get out of this engagement as quickly as possible and warn others against them. Final attempt below sent to: customer.service@regus.com There have been NO holds on my card. I challenge the integrity of this documentation outright. I have been falsely charged despite providing proof from my bank to multiple Regus representatives, which Regus representatives have refused to process. Additionally, the charge I incurred is in excess of what is outlined in the service agreement. Regus is now in violation of our contract through failure to perform within the contractual obligations stated in page 7 of the "House Rules", which states: "Insufficient Funds: You will pay a fee of $50, or the maximum amount permitted by law, for failed payments due to declined credit cards, insufficient funds from direct debit payments, or returned checks." According to the documentation you provided, which was explicitly refuted by my bank, the charge was "declined" (Response type: Declines (soft)) and should have been charged according to the "Insufficient Funds" stipulation in our agreement. Regus is now in breach of contract and arbitration is requested as is our right outlined in the service agreement, which has inarguably been violated. I require a response no later than 5pm on September 6, 2024. If no response is received by this date, it will be assumed that Regus is choosing to continue to delay communication and is refusing to provide access to a representative who can act with integrity to resolve this well-documented dispute. In that context, I will have no choice but to seek legal representation.
