Great space, great location. Beautiful neighborhood, and it's right above a bakery. What more could you ask for?

The "pods" are spacious and comfortable, the meeting room is large and professional, and a partial kitchen available to store your lunch if you are a go-getter and make those sort of things.

It was so vibrant, inviting, inspiring, and healing embedded in one space. I would love to find out more about how to utilize, reserve, rent, and share the space for any future gatherings. Bonus: share free parking lot access with Pizza Hut and ample of free street parking. Two gender neutral restrooms. P.Y. No toilet seat covers.

Having lived in several tech hub cities, the co-working spaces I'm used to tend to have a high-tech focus with minimal decor. openHAUS wasn't like that at all but I really appreciated the difference. There's a lot of interesting art dotted throughout and it's got a lived-in feel with many in-progress projects out in the open. There are desks claimed and occupied by the stuff of regulars, but besides that you get your choice of a place to settle for the day. There's clean bathrooms nearby and a kitchen stocked with coffee and tea, and even ramen if you really didn't want to step out for food. I heard there was a dedicated parking lot though it wasn't obvious, but street parking was easy enough. I'm glad I tried this place and would come back. I was able to take calls and attend work meetings just fine out of here, and I was able to pop out for lunch and come back without worrying about my stuff getting touched. Finally, I was also a little surprised that someone came with their dog, a big boxer looking one, but it was generally well behaved and didn't come around again after getting to sniff me in the butt.

Lots of electrical outlets that are intelligently placed on top of the tables, and the wifi was reliable. Kitchen was stocked with the usual coworking amenities. That is, water, coffee, basic tea, and some basic snacks. The day I was there, it was Kind bars and bananas. There are more snacks and drinks in a vending machine in the kitchen and for sale at the reception desk, including gigantic bars of chocolate(!) which are produced by one of the occupants. There's a frig to store things. Some minor issues to note: Tea service is very basic. I only saw one "telephone booth", though it doesn't seem too bad if you have a conversation out in the open area. The space was rather chilly and I had to put on my jacket and scarf. I recommend bringing layers. Lastly, the chairs in the general areas were not adjustable and didn't provide good lumbar support. An example of beauty over function here. I wish the interior designer/manager opted for more ergonomic chairs, as occupants are often there all day long. Overall, this space was great! Bathrooms: Clean and functional, and lovely.

Home to office spaces, a brewery (Upright), the Leftbank Cafe, a shared office space (the Hive) and a communal area, the winding, maze-like structure is home to a colony of progressive workers, projects, and all sorts of stuff. I've been in here quite a few times to meet with folks, I've stopped in to the cafe, and I threw an event in the communal space, and I love the brewery downstairs. While parking can be a bit of an issue when an event is taking place, it's got a great central location and, at least for me, the historic and design-forward remodel aspects are close to my heart. Dig this space.

It's kind of a rabbits warren of small companies connected by large communal spaces and even better natural light flooding in everywhere. The main Lobby/cafe room looking out on the street was interestingly complex but simply informal enough to be comfortable. Went here to check out Upright Brewing (http://www.yelp.com/biz/upright-brewing-portland#hrid:EonPV60YZaVQfVTk-p76Jw) but found myself wandering around the building checking out all the cool spaces. It was awesome! Leftbank Project is kind of the little brother to some of the other big Inner Eastside commercial renovations like Eastbank, Olympic Mills, and RiverEast.

The staff is always welcoming, and there's an open kitchen where you can help yourself to coffee and water. They do an amazing job keeping this place clean and inviting. The location is great for a co-working space. The only downside is the reception -- the cell signal can be pretty low, so sometimes it's hard to be on the phone.
