I was weary to contact this business because I've heard nothing but negative things about one of the employees. Nonetheless, a friend who is a client, had good things to say about their marketing approach. I decided to push aside the stories I was told from other business owners, professionals, and photographers because the stories and experiences were not about the quality of the business' work, but instead it was hyper-focused on one person. Our friend assured us that the operation is carried by a separate individual. Still, they were very upfront about warning us in advance that this one employee is arrogant and self-deluded. At that time they felt as though the benefits of working with them outweighed the professional differences. Shortly after receiving the referral, I contacted them. I had the unfortunate displeasure of speaking with the girl that I've heard about. She was rude, cocky, and frankly appeared as though she liked to hear herself talk. She had no real understanding of the concepts that required her to think in terms of our business needs, nor did she have the patience to listen to anyone else. As she stated, 'this is business and I'm being direct'. I have since learned that she says this statement often. The friend who referred us is currently grappling with the idea of staying with the agency because she is the marketing director, and not someone who can be avoided. Her demeanor was absolutely unprofessional and lacking all business tact. All of the stories that I've heard about her were confirmed in that moment. Obviously we did not choose to do business with them. I almost forgot about my negative experience, but after hearing a horrific story from another colleague, I decided to write the review. Maybe they'll get someone who has experience, not someone who is clearly just in on an opportunity with a puffed up ego. Not worth the drama or the attitude for us. read more
