Bareknuckle Branding is honestly a complete joke that I would NEVER trust to build a brand from the ground up as they claim to be able to do, let alone design ANYTHING. I am sincerely surprised by the positive reviews and do wonder if they are from real clients. This is a staff of amateurs for the most part and I mean this quite literally. It is almost an insult to legitimate creative agencies. If you have any knowledge of graphic design you will clearly see from their website alone that no one on staff has a background, nor an eye for design. Their "Social Media Whiz" has no education in marketing, brand management or growth, or analytics. She literally just has a good amount of personal Instagram followers and that is somehow enough to qualify her to build your business a solid social media presence? Their "Wordsmith/Content Nerd" is NOT a copywriter. She may enjoy books and she may have an English degree, but writing stories is a completely different thing than writing copy. Copywriters are trained and skilled individuals who know specifically how to craft PERSUASIVE and CONVINCING pieces that are meant to evoke action from a targeted audience. They don't even have a graphic designer... Is it any wonder why all the staff bio's don't focus on their actual skills, education, or relevant accomplishments? Instead, these bio's are a sorry excuse for getting around the fact that these people are not qualified. Take a look for yourself, you'll find out what they like to drink (this is their gimmick) and how they enjoy being in plays and have strange birthmarks, their personal clothing lines, and other non-important tidbits. These people may be talented, they may be smart, but they are in no way qualified to be selling themselves as competent branding professionals who should be trusted with someone's business! Bareknuckle Branding's website honestly says it all. It is not a good site. Poorly designed, not visually pleasing or interesting. They are attempting to be perceived as cool and fun and different by poorly relating all services they offer to alcohol. What a winning theme! Who's genius idea was this? I know I want that person helping me build my brand! They think they are being edgy by using the word "damn" in their website copy. Under their "Copywriting" dropdown you will find a paragraph that doesn't even touch on any of the key factors of writing copy, "all about creativity and consistency." No. This obviously was not written by an actual copywriter. Just someone with a bachelors in English...
As someone who has worked with countless creative agencies across the country and has worked in advertising, marketing, and branding as a professional copywriter and graphic designer for their entire professional career, I can tell you this is NOT where to go to grow your brand. I am sure these are all nice enough people, but they do not know what they are doing and their "Buy Us Beer" approach is a gimmick and nothing more. Please take a good long look at their website content and design and then compare it to an agency that has been around a while longer. I think it will speak for itself. read more
