At the age of 17, after a severe pedestrian vs. car accident, I had breast implants placed to…read moreaddress asymmetry caused by skin grafts. At the time, I was an uneducated teenager who didn't research surgeons. I ended up with implants that were too large and that I hated almost immediately. After 21 years, two children, and ongoing physical discomfort from the weight of the implants, I was ready to explant. Explant can be intimidating, as you're unsure about how much tissue you'll have left or what the results will be. For me, the added complexity of skin grafts and asymmetry made it even more daunting. I knew I needed to find the best surgeon possible to ensure I was happy with my results and that this would be my last breast surgery. I spent years researching surgeons, and although I always knew Dr. Robert Cohen was my top choice, I consulted with a few others. One surgeon warned that my skin grafts could result in severe asymmetry, and that the graft could even die. In contrast, Dr. Cohen's consultation was reassuring. He simply asked if my grafts were soft and pliable, and when I confirmed, he confidently stated that he could achieve the results I desired. His expertise and confidence gave me complete trust in my decision. Choosing Dr. Cohen was easy. I had followed his work for years and knew he was highly skilled, with a consistent track record of excellent outcomes. I trusted him to deliver the best results, and choosing him eliminated any stress or worry I had about my aesthetic outcome. Dr. Cohen was professional, confident, and direct. Two months before surgery, he drained my saline implants in a quick, painless procedure that gave me time to adjust to a smaller chest and get excited for the breast lift. Immediately after surgery, I was thrilled with the results. My breasts were round, perky, and natural-looking, with well-placed incisions that blended seamlessly with the curves of my body. Recovery was smooth, with minimal pain and no drains (unlike most explant patients). I had no complications, minimal bruising, and received excellent care and follow up from the nurses. The anesthesiologist, also Dr. Cohen, took the time to reassure me before surgery, which made me feel much more at ease. I'm grateful for his kindness. Dr. Cohen's staff was incredibly helpful and supportive, answering all my questions and guiding me every step of the way (special thanks to Laura). I feel lighter, look thinner, and my clothes fit better than ever. My breasts are fuller and more beautiful than I imagined--several friends have even commented that they look like smaller implants. Dr. Cohen is truly an artist, and I'm beyond happy with my results. My husband agrees, saying it was "money well spent!" Choose Dr. Cohen--you won't be disappointed.

I actually traveled from San Francisco to Arizona for the surgery, and the entire team went above and beyond to help make the process smooth and comfortable. They were incredibly accommodating and supportive, which made traveling for the procedure much less stressful. The whole experience felt very professional and well organized. His office and team were amazing -- always kind, responsive, and truly available whenever I needed them. Knowing that the office was reachable 24/7 gave me a lot of peace of mind throughout the process. Everyone on the team was warm, supportive, and highly professional, and I felt very well taken care of from start to finish. Marcella the nurse was amazing!! I'm very grateful for the care I received and would absolutely recommend him to anyone considering breast reduction surgery.

I cannot rave enough about Repta Plastic Surgery! From my initial appointment (when I was only…read more"thinking about" surgery) to my post-op follow up appointments, I have been treated with respect and kindness. After losing over 90 pounds, I had lots and lots of loose skin, especially around my stomach. So, the weight was gone, but I was still having to wear all of my shirts hanging out over my jeans or skirt. I just wanted to be able to tuck my shirt in and have a flat stomach. It was difficult to appreciate my accomplishment when I couldn't even tuck in my shirt or blouse. I'm 65 years old and had no visions of looking 25 again, but, dang! I feel more confident than I did at 25. Dr. Repta is a meticulous surgeon, but also, he is part artist. The results that I see when I look in the mirror literally bring tears to my eyes. He did what I dared not even imagine. He made me happy with my appearance for the first time in 40 years. The office staff is amazing and so friendly. The Sanctuary, where I stayed the night following my surgery, and the nurses who took care of me there were beyond exceptional. And there is nothing that could have gone easier or better for me than the experience that I had. I would never hesitate to recommend Dr. Repta to anyone considering plastic surgery. It is obvious that, in addition to being highly skilled, he puts his patient's needs and desires first. Last week, during one of my post-op appointments, I was so impressed. When Dr. Repta came into the room, instead of saying, "You look great" he asked me how I felt about the results of the surgery. I loved that! Thank you, Dr. Repta! I tell everybody what a terrific surgeon Dr. Repta is. He is, in my opinion, worth every penny that was paid for the yummy tuck he gave me. He is absolutely #1 in my book!

I think I watched every YouTube video he's ever done. He is seriously the top of the line when you think of plastic surgeons. I had a tattoo on my back and he lined it up so evenly. I'm hoping once I heal, you will not even be able to tell. He truly has a gift and turned my body into a piece of art. Unfortunately, I can't post the other pictures here. He was gentle, kind and very professional! His office staff Evelin and Rula were the BEST! Even the silliest questions I had, were answered almost immediately with grace and professionalism. I stayed the night in their "sanctuary" after surgery for one night which was incredible. I was blessed to be taken care of by nurse Lisa during my overnight stay who even called me a few days earlier to introduce herself and ask me if I had any questions. She was a true Angel. So gentle, kind and caring and definitely has a gift for serving others. She made me feel comfortable and explained what she was doing before she did anything. The amazing part was we had both moved to different parts of the United States, but after talking some we realized we were from the same state and knew the same friends. What are the chances of that? Only God could have orchestrated something like that. Not only did I have an amazing nurse that night, I gained a friend!! I wish there were more nurses in this world like her. If you are thinking of having plastic surgery, DO IT! I highly recommend checking out Dr. Repta's social media accounts and take look at the pictures for yourself. (Especially his YouTube channel and Instagram accounts). He also uses Snap Chat and posts several live posts throughout the week of before and after procedures. Do the research first! I hear people all the time shopping around for the "cheapest" procedure. I know everyone is different, but you're NOT shopping for a pair of shoes.......this is your life! I have had ZERO complications and I'm almost two weeks out. The pain has been very minimal to say the least. Thank you Dr. Repta for changing my life!! AT

Her work was phenomenal and I wanted the same type of results and him and his team delivered exactly that. The consultation was done over the phone where Dr. Corey talked about my preferences and he discussed what he think might be best for me based on the information I gave him. I was very open minded with what I wanted and I made sure to mention the most important things to me; upper pole fullness and closing my cleavage was my top priority and I was flexible in the sizing in order for those two priorities to be fulfilled. He recognized off the bat from the photos I sent that I had some unevenness between the girlies and made sure to even them out during the final sizing. He was on point with the final sizing and profile. Throughout the call he was extremely EASY to talk to; literally felt like speaking to a friend. Never once did I feel like the choice wasn't my own nor did I ever feel like he was trying to steer me away from my choices. Many of my friends had experiences where other doctors were trying to convince them a different profile or a bigger/smaller size (a big reason why i didn't go to other well known doctors in philadelphia and went all the way here instead). Surgery is a very high commitment and it can be uncomfortable when your doctor doesn't really respect what you want, but this WAS NOT THE CASE AT ALL WITH HIM! He was super informative, very respectful, and even funny lol. Despite coming from such a long way, the process was very smooth and they communicated with me how to estimate which sizes I would like best through a process called the "rice test". Even though I was weary at first, i can say the rice test is pretty accurate now that I am post op! It helped me picked the perfect size that wasn't too big for me but still noticeable. He is amazing and well versed at his job because he was able to suggest a couple sizes for me that I probably never would have picked myself, but it ended up being exactly what I wanted after i tried those sizes during the rice test. He considered my rib cage width, my goals and was realistic. I was weary about sizing and profile types bc I didn't want to look like the letter "P" and he did amazing at suggesting the size and profile. We quickly agreed on medium and 405cc L/445cc R to balance out my unevenness. His team was very communicative and even accommodated my request for an earlier surgery date when unexpected circumstances came up and I could no longer do my original surgery date. This team made me feel so comfortable and reassured me very thoroughly, even after I expressed that I was quite nervous as I have never had a procedure done before. I was literally a mess the night before because i was so nervous but looking back it feels soooo silly bc they took care of me so flawlessly. I literally came into the surgery center scared as heck but woke up painlessly with beautiful boobies LOL. The nurses, the anesthesiologist, the doctor, everyone was so friendly and made me feel more at ease before we got started. Even the recovery process wasn't too bad, Dr. Corey outlined what to expect for the next week and he was spot on. I followed his instructions and so far have no complications a week later (but I am a post op nurse, so I may be a little more familiar with post op care than others). Make sure to follow post op care instructions his team provides in order to prevent complications and unwanted results! Once again, Dr. John J Corey is extremely comfortable to speak to and I had an AMAZING experience. I got a bilateral Transaxillary breast augmentation and i love it to much! The armpit approach gave me no visible scars and anyone I've shown so far has been super impressed! My friends have gotten it under the breast and sometimes the scarring can be dark for women of color (I am asian) so I really appreciate that he recommended this approach to me. Ask more about this approach and whether if it's a good fit for you because it is amazing. The aftercare for this site is less tedious too! I cannot recommend this doctor and his team enough! Thank you so much for giving me confidence and being so welcoming :) I cannot wait to see my final results within the next couple months and hope to be in AZ again one day to show you my results in person. Good luck with every future patient!
