We were craving smoothies. Saw some pics of the smoothies offered on some pics for this place. We were driving back from Ohio. Called ahead to make sure they were in fact open. We were told it's a not a smoothie place at all, despite pics of the create your own smoothie? The menu pic is what brought me here in the first place, disappointed. Also were told the juice bar was closed when we arrived, would have been nice if they had told us that while we were on our way. There was only a lemon, lemongrass and wheatgrass juice made from earlier. It was hard to convince us to get this juice over a much craved fruity smoothie. Need to get this place off the smoothie category and take the pics of their smoothie offerings. read more

I was desperately seeking something to eat that was healthy and clean. I found this little gem. I have the avocado bowl with cherry chicken salad. So delicious, I ate it a little faster than I should've. The staff in the kitchen were nice enough, they knew the regulars and greeted them warmly. The owners are very nice and friendly. read more

I have no clue why, but Southgate is a great place to do health food shopping! It's really one of the only areas around Downriver that has health food/grocery stores. Better Health is also down the street on Eureka. And there is another (but *a lot* smaller) Nutrition Unlimited on Eureka by the Southgate border in Taylor by Southland mall. Anyway, regardless of the other places to go to, this Nutrition Unlimited is a great choice! They have a juice bar where they serve freshly prepared smoothies, juices, and prepared food like sandwiches. I can't remember what smoothie I got, but it was very good and they use the highest quality (and fresh) ingredients. They even said the cream they used is grass-fed! They also have a decent selection of frozen food, refrigerated food, produce, and packaged goods along with toiletries, essential oils, etc. Of course, they have kombucha as well! I would say that Better Health has a slightly bigger selection, but Unlimited Nutrition isn't that far behind. I didn't buy anything from here other than my smoothie, but glancing at the prices of stuff I normally buy (like kombucha), they do seem on the high end. I'm talking more expensive than Whole Foods high, but they are a way smaller company than Whole Foods, so it makes sense. (Also, if you're looking for agar (vegan substitute to gelatin made out of seaweed), I noticed they were selling it for almost $10! Go to the Filipino store called Phil-Mart Oriental on Pardee in Taylor and you can find agar-agar for only a few bucks. To be fair, I don't really think that they are making a killing off of it, but just how the health industry is.) I will definitely be back! read more

If you want to stay healthy - DON'T go there! They blatantly ignore every mask mandate, allow customers to come in maskless, and pretend they're above the laws. I had one virtual meeting with a nutritionist and stopped after realizing how it was a waste of time. The nutritionist gave me basic advice that I could find on any nutrition blog or article. She encouraged me to track my calories and said I should eat more fiber... such a waste of time. The worst part is that they charged me $250!! For such basic instruction! She didn't tell me anything new. Someone who read one article online would be able to tell me this. 0/10 would recommend. read more

I am visiting from San Diego CA and am fairly health conscious. I wanted to save money on eating out and I wanted to eat nourishing healthy food. I yelped organic grocery stores and this was one of the options that came up. I came by and was astonished at the amount of inventory they have in stock. They were fully stocked and the prices on some of the items appeared to be more cheaper than prices back home which was a nice surprise. I met Lindsey gal who works in the deli area and she provided me with a 20% off all my groceries coupon. I was able to receive a nice discount off all my groceries which was a blessing and a bonus. They have an amazing menu which consists of fresh all organic juices, smoothies, salads, bone broth and that day they had chicken corn chowder on the menu. I got their bone broth, cleanser juice plus an add on of cucumber, Greek salad and the chowder. Per the owners advice I started my meal with the bone broth as it has healing properties and it works best on an empty stomach so it can absorb into the body. After drinking all the broth I felt so incredible and nourished. I can't describe it but my body really absorbed it well. I also can tell that Lindsey made everything with such excellence and care. I followed the broth with the Greek salad and chowder. Everything was so fresh and amazing. I felt satisfied, nourished and full. Not the kind of full you get when you eat a heavy meal but a perfect satisfaction you feel when you've eaten a well balanced meal hence loving yourself. I give this store a 5 stars and will be coming back at least a few more times until I leave for home. This place is amazing and a bit of heaven right smack in the middle of an area that doesn't have many organic options. I highly recommend it. read more

One day my mom had ordered their bone broth but they ended up not having enough for an order, the girl at the juice bar happily offered for us to come back in a couple days to get it with no additional charge. My favorite nutrition store within 50 miles and I can't believe it is in my hometown. The place itself is nothing spectacular looking, if you weren't looking for it, you may miss it as it's in a large strip mall. It's also not the most up-to-date building, but trust me, they have great things in there! I actually love that it is inconspicuous, because it keeps the crowd out and keeps the place more of a hidden gem than it should be. I should note, there is another Nutrition Unlimited just down Eureka in Taylor, but the Southgate location is much better. Taylor still has quite a few products, but the Southgate location has the juices, smoothies and prepared foods. Smoothies, juices and elixirs are amazing. My absolute favorite is the Blues Buster smoothie, but almost all of them are extremely good with unique flavors that you won't get at any other shop. Outside of the food, this is an amazing nutrition shop and they have a huge variety of supplements, homeopathic medicines, non-GMO personal care products and essential oils. They also have services there like acupuncture and foot detox, but I can't speak on behalf of those. read more
