I was looking for dessert in the area that was still open late at night and I stumbled upon this pink food truck. The line wasn't too bad and they make everything fresh. I ordered the de la casa crepe and it was delicious. There was some seating with tables next to it, but I took mine home.

Happy find, saw this the other day when the wife said want to give it a try I said let's do it. People are coming in picking up a perfect sweet treat. They have multiple items from crepes of various flavors and Fresa con crema options for everyone. Really looking forward to trying the Brownie one. I hope they eventually get a permanent spot. But they are good to set up everywhere. Perfect set up for any event.

Pure heaven tonight!!!! These dubai strawberries are one of the best desserts ive tried. The taste of fresh strawberries mixed with chocolate, pistacho cream and Kataifi Dough. This is the perfect after dinner treat I truly enjoyed. Next time im gonna try the crepes yummy.

Every have dreams about food? Meeee tooo. This is definitely one of those times! A strawberry and banana crepe. DELICIOUS! Order with them on their website for pickup or order through an online service for delivery. I was definitely not able to eat this all-in-one siting, even in two days it was sweet, but delicious. It is a meal in and of itself. They use cream cheese and lechera, so believe me when I say it is rich in flavor/sweetness. The price is the same as an entree. I would definitely share this with 2-3 others or perfect for a after meal dessert. There is a handful of other options available.

Amazing service and the quality of the food is better than others! Along with the a spacious seating area with ambient lighting!

My platano frito crepe...without a crepe

I ordered a fresas con crema and a platano frito. It was not bad, but it would have been better if it came with all the ingredients listed. I wasn't told that they were out of ingredients when I ordered or when I was waiting, I paid the full amount for both. The fresas con crema was missing the coconut and granola and my platano frito had NO CREPE! Which is the main thing of the whole dish! I came about a half hour before they closed, there were people still waiting for their food and someone who ordered right before me. If they had told me they were out of something instead of taking my full $30 and giving me less than half of what I ordered, I wouldn't be disappointed. For the dishonesty, I give 2 stars.

Service is really good. The food was delicious. The ambiance was nice. They have a seating area out side the food truck. The fresas con crema was delicious and i recommend you try it with the cheesecake.

Nutilda Sweet Lab crepes in Chula Vista is a delicious treat for everyone. So many sweet options to choose from. The staff is friendly and it's definitely worth the stop for a fun dessert outing. We ordered: Dubai strawberries and Plátano Frito crepe. (Fried banana). 10/10

Had the biggest craving for a crepe and THANK GOD this trunk exists!! Lol. Nutilda is also inside of Las Ahumaderas, but we pass by this truck a lot so we decided to pull over. I got the crepe bowl with a rolled up and chopped Nutella crepe, strawberries, mazapan crumbs, lechera AND we added churros. Soooo good! It's BIG enough to serve 2 people though, in my opinion. My bf got the kinder bueno crepe with a side of ice cream! Both were filling and good. They have a lot of options too, but you can make your own. Personally, I like the truck better because the indoor location can get busy sometimes!

The service was quick and the lady was kind. The crepe was so yummy and very filling. Crepe costed around $19 after tax which is kinda pricy but worth it for a special treat. No doubt about it being delicious and you could even share it! The ambiance is fun because it's inside Las Ahumaderas restaurant. Plenty of free parking and lots of yummy dessert options.

Omg so good. I was around the corner at the DMV for like 3 hours (I'm never moving out of Cali…read moreagain...) and waiting in the line for vehicle inspection when I said, let me get some food and wait instead... So glad I found Mar Y Tierra!!! Everyone was sooo nice to me even though I had a hard time remembering "sesenta" briefly (when I think in Spanish now, Japanese comes out... it's funny but it's a problem lol) and even though I'm a gringa with a basic order. I just got 1 shrimp & 1 fish taco both with avocado and a jamaica. When I tell you I ate these like I had never eaten food before... Shrimp was incredibly tender and wonderful. The fish was huge, flaky and crispy and juicy. Honestly I ate them so quickly they could've been made of liquid. But they were sooo delicious!! They included extra sauce and the green salsa wasn't too spicy for me which I so appreciate! They also included 2 limes for one of the tacos which made me think someone really loves me today :') I would definitely come back here anytime and try more things on the menu! Very very delicious!! Thank you for the delicious food and taking care of me today!!!

Just a heads up before you go, there is no seating. It's a standing-room-only setup with barrel tables throughout the outdoor space. You order from one of the trucks, find a place to stand, and enjoy your food. The atmosphere felt lively and authentic, making it part of the experience. Service: Service was quick and efficient despite the crowd. There was even someone helping direct parking, which made arriving and finding a spot much easier. Food: The complimentary consommé completely stole the show for me. It was rich, flavorful, and packed with chunks of seafood. Every bite had a deep, savory flavor with just the right amount of spice. It was honestly my favorite thing we tried. We ordered the Gobernador, the Negrita, and fish tacos. The Gobernador was loaded with shrimp and melted cheese, creating the perfect combination of rich, savory seafood flavor. The shrimp tasted incredibly fresh and was cooked perfectly. The Negrita was another standout, piled high with shrimp, sliced avocado, and topped with an oyster that added even more fresh ocean flavor. It was served with tostadas on the side, and every bite was packed with bold seasoning, fresh seafood, and great texture. The fish taco was good and made with fresh ingredients. My bf and I are big foodies and have eaten a lot of fish tacos over the years, so we're probably tougher critics than most. While it wasn't our favorite item of the meal, it was still enjoyable, and the Gobernador and Negrita were the clear standouts for us. While the prices are a little higher, the quality, freshness, and portion sizes help justify it. Overall, this was a great experience from start to finish. Between the flavorful seafood, and generous portions, it's definitely worth coming back again.

El Prieto (Main St, San Diego) Rating: 2.5 / 5 Stars…read more I really wanted to enjoy my visit to El Prieto, but unfortunately, the experience was a series of "almosts" that didn't quite land. Here is the breakdown of my recent meal: The Food The kitchen missed the mark on a few basics. My bistec ranchero was underwhelming; the sauce was overly "tomatoey," lacking the deep, savory complexity or spice you expect from a solid ranchero. To make matters worse, the rice served on the side was noticeably cold, which is always a disappointment. The Drinks The beverage situation was equally frustrating. I was surprised to find that the bar offers no wine options at all. I decided to pivot to an Arnold Palmer, which ended up being the worst version of the drink I've ever had--the proportions were completely off. Service & Atmosphere The service felt lacking throughout the night, with very little attention paid to the table. Most off-putting, however, is the policy stated on the menu: a 45-minute window to eat. It's hard to relax and enjoy a meal when you feel like you're being timed by the staff. Verdict Between the cold sides, a limited bar, and the rushed atmosphere created by the time limit, I can't say I'd be in a hurry to return. There are too many great spots in San Diego to settle for a 45-minute countdown.

The filet was tender and perfectly cooked to our preferred temperature of medium rare. The veggies were mushrooms, zucchini and onions. The fried rice was buttery and delicious. All of it was well seasoned and the ginger sauce was the perfect accompaniment. Will absolutely come back every time this truck is here! The chicken, the rice, and the "vegetables" (it was just some squash and raw onions) had no flavor at all. If you scroll down you'll see other reviews with the same complaints. After enjoying a cold beer, I asked them to make me the Mushroom and Sausage pizza baked in a red and black wood fire oven. The pizza cost $12. The pizza was quite excellent at many levels. First of all, I was very pleased with the sauce made from organic San Marzano Tomatoes. It was light but provided a great natural mild tomato flavor. I had a great balance between sweet and acidity, both being very subtle. The pizza's sausage is made by the proprietor, Mario M., and let me tell you, he makes some grand sausage. The sausage was lighter than most and not overwhelmed by herbs and seasoning. It did have a small amount of fennel seeds, but no so much that it allowed the natural pork flavor to come through nicely. The mushrooms that came with this pizza were rendered down well from baking and were tender with a good earthy flavor. The Mozzarella was fresh and the pizza came with just the right amount. I was very impressed with the pizza's crust. It was of the thinner variety but held up very well to the pizza's ingredients. Even though it was thin and had a good light crunch, it also had very good texture and where there was some sort of thickness, it had a bit of a chew.
