Immaculately groomed with no issues and a phenomenal attention to detail, including referencing past profiles of her they had taken to ensure a consistent cut. It's entirely customized to her each time, taking all of our requests and concerns into consideration. In fact, we have been taking all three of our dogs to Jenny for many years and have been satisfied every time. How great it is not to have to rely on a chain and to know there's a high-quality, reasonably priced groomer around the corner. She had her ready quickly too, basically in and out which is appreciated so our pup doesn't have to wait. The staff when making appointments is super personable. The bow she put on her is the cherry on top of a great grooming!

We have been customers for years and had some minor grooming incidents in the past(2 cuts), which I overlooked because my dog is elderly. Unfortunately, this most recent experience was much more serious. Two days after grooming, I discovered a cut and missing fur under my dog's armpit. Later that week, after removing the bandana placed around her neck after grooming, I discovered another cut there as well. I contacted the owner, Jennifer, who reviewed the salon footage and said she didn't see my dog react to the cuts which is possible with some dogs, she felt very sorry and apologetic for the incident. She initially offered to cover my veterinary bill, which I appreciated. My dog ultimately required treatment costing $330 and had to wear a cone for over three weeks because the wounds were not healing properly. After I submitted the vet bill, Jennifer later said she was not responsible and offered $156 as a gesture of care. She then did not follow through with that offer either. I was also told she had spoken with my veterinarian, which I confirmed was not true. I understand that a veterinarian cannot definitively determine exactly what caused a wound after the fact. However, the vet specifically noted that irritation from grooming clippers was a possibility consistent with the timeline, which was noted in her doctor notes. At this point, this is not about the money. It is about accountability and how the situation was handled. After years of being a customer, I am extremely disappointed and heartbroken that my elderly dog was injured and that the business ultimately chose not to take responsibility. I'm sharing this so other pet owners can make an informed decision about where they trust their pets to be groomed.

I used to get jealous because he loved her so much! I couldn't even say her name without him going nuts, begging for her! I've had 6 dogs in the last 33+ years and Here Boy has groomed all 6 beautifully! i recently adopted a rescue [American Eskimo/Samoyed mix] who could seem aggressive to others. Here Boy took him and groomed him without hesitation, so I'm not sure why some people gave such negative reviews. I wouldn't go anywhere else! The establishment is NOT dirty, the owner Nancy is phenomenal, and the groomers are all very friendly. I've seen a lot of disturbing videos lately of dogs being mistreated by other establishments/groomers and I have NEVER EVER had to worry about my babies being mistreated by anyone there. I love Nancy and her team and they LOVE dogs! 33+ years of being a loyal client and being treated as such, speaks volumes! We had used their mobile services for our Pekingese/Shitzu. She was fine before grooming, went in…read morehealthy then came out and couldn't walk on her front paw. They wouldn't admit to anything. Just calling my dog obese!!! I wanted to know what happened so I could help her since she could walk on her front leg!!! Accidents happen but they wouldn't own it. I brought her to the Emergency Vet in Toms River since it was a Saturday. The Vet said either she fell off the table and sprained her leg or her leg was twisted from getting her nails cut, but she had a bad sprain and that it would take a couple weeks to get better if not bring her back in. Sent them the bill since she said she would pay for it and she deducted the grooming bill from it. So you admit your wrong, but then charge me for hurting my dog? This is a disgrace of business practices especially one that works with Animals!!!! Thank god my dog is ok now, but your behavior is disturbing when people trusting their animals in your care.

I'm back on vacation again and once…read moreagain took my four-legged son to be bathed and groomed at Fur Balls, I really cannot say enough how wonderful these two ladies are. When I brought him in, he was nervous and shaking, and actually I had to pick him up and hand him to the groomer. When I picked him up afterwards , he was happy and calm and just really happy to see me, and looked beautiful! I really wish that I lived closer so this could be my full-time grooming salon!
