After 4 years, I had given up and settled with the thought of living with back and body pain for…read morethe rest of my life - until one day I stumbled upon NSMFR while researching some alternative therapies. Jessica was the only one able to give me a pain free life. I had tried shots, massage, acupuncture, chiropractors, read Sarno, tried heat, ice, medicine - you name it. When I told Jessica about the pain I was having, she fit me into her busy schedule for an evaluation. I was skeptical based on all of the other therapies I tried that did not work, but went in hopeful and with an open mind. Jessica was able to connect with my mind and body in a way I still don't comprehend - but when I let go and embraced her treatment rather than trying to understand the techniques, I found the most success. She worked on my locked up fascia tissue, my muscles, and the stress induced subconscious signals my brain was sending that had been sending my body into a tightening panic (I think). Jessica also offers continued freedom from pain by educating her clients about self treatment at home. NSMFH has forever changed my life and I am forever grateful.

I saw her because I've recently been released from physical therapy for a torn iliopsoas, and her add stated, "With the detail of a trained surgeon, and the knowing of a zen master," and "Massaging to align muscles." She never massaged anywhere close to the iliopsoas (internal core muscle: http://teamanimal.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/hip-flexors-iliopsoas.gif?w=590). This demonstrated to me the one or more of the following; she doesn't know how to massage the muscle, she doesn't know where the muscle is, or she was uncomfortable trying it. None of these options corroborate the statements in her advertisement. If you actually need massage and want something more than an old lady (her pictures are not current) rubbing your back, don't go here. I found the experience unprofessional and lazy.

I had been struggling with a chronic calf pull that I was not able to rehabilitate for many months…read moreusing rest, ice, stretching etc. Luckily while visiting Marblehead over Thanksgiving our host recommended Frank and he made time to see me the next day. He was able to deconstruct my standing and walking posture and the way I sat at my desk and figure out it was a case of sciatica, not a calf pull. The pressure I was putting on the sciatic nerve through the low back down to the calf due to incorrect posture was the root cause. No one had made these connections before and long story short, I am able to run five miles now without pain. In addition he's accessible by text if I have a question as I don't live in Marblehead. Frank thinks outside the box and really takes a wholisitic view of health and healing when working with his patients.
