I get my NRP and BLS updated here every 2 yrs. It is so easy, fast and it feels great just to get it done. My work has classes, but it is such a pain to find the dates and times that fit my ever changing schedule of days and night shifts. This is the only way to do it. I just renewed my ACLS/BLS here and I can't believe I never went here sooner! I live in the area and had seen this place but never went in. When I looked them up, I saw all that they offered and figured I'd try them out. I'm so glad I did! Their location is convenient, right off major freeways. There is plenty of parking outside. Inside, they have a ton of resources for the classes they offer-and it's a ton! I took the ACLS with BLS combo with Aimee, and she was fantastic! I loathe renewing these certs, but she made class fun and interesting. I appreciate that she didn't waste anyone's time, and just focused on what you need to know. She also had relevant, real life stories that happened to her, so you know she is a real badass! I love their approach to teaching here, so I'll definitely be back here again! I love that they offer classes everyday except weekends I think. Came here for a basic ekg class a few years ago and boy did they make it easy for me to learn and follow along. Aimee who was the ACLS instructor this go around provided excellent materials and tips and tricks for us to remember certain topics like blocks , meds etc. As for being a non RN, I really learned a lot and she made it fun learning about running codes and the roles of each person in the situation. read more

I just took my PALS renewal class with the Nurses Ed today, and I am so glad I came here, totally very good use of my time. At my institution, we are about to implement a new program (RQI) in October, and I could have waited without the need to renew it, but I personally found that there is a value in attending a comprehensive class, that gives you opportunities to review and ask questions. The class runs on time and it was nicely structured. Instructor (Michael) was very knowledgeable, and as a bonus he also has a great sense of humor. He doesn't allow boredom to be part of his teaching, which is great because he keeps everyone's interest - He is definitely a fun person. He is an expert on the subject matter. Our class seemed to have gone by fast, it was clear and concise. Lots of parking. Classroom was clean, and observed good physical distancing, the staff is super friendly and professional. Best ACLS Class Ever! Mike conducted the class in a stress free, friendly, and casual environment. It started off with a field trip to get coffee next door at Nutmeg to start the morning off right...and he paid! What?! He was hilarious and witty! My favorite!! Definitely the perfect class for an experienced healthcare professional who just needs to certify. For newbies, or to get the most out of the class, my recommendation is to be able to recognize the basic rhythms as well as the algorithms/drugs for the various scenarios (tachycardia, bradycardia, VF/pVT, etc. The rest is easy breezy! The book chapters are excellent, easy to follow, and reinforce the concepts well. You can easily add BLS recert onto the class too without lengthening the class. They just incorporate the learning seamlessly into the ACLS curriculum and you simply take one more test at the end. If you need more practice or want to be drilled then you will need to speak up or take the class somewhere else. I know he would oblige. This is definitely the kinder, gentler version we always dreamed of!! No sweat!!! Based on this class I would not hesitate to take other courses offered. read more
