He's very in tune with his body and knows it best. We started calling emergency dentists about 6 am. Husband just pretty much walked into this place and they took him right away. Our son has had a tooth abscess before and it moved to under his eye, which could be deadly if the drainage went to his brain. Husband was rightfully paranoid and just wanted to know if it needed to be taken care of ASAP or would he be okay until he gets back to DFW. Long story short. Dr Huynh gave him pain meds and antibiotics. Told him he needed the tooth out soon or retreat of root canal, but nothing immediate. I appreciate the office getting him in quick and Dr reassuring him.

From the scheduling of initial appointment to every aspect of our visits including recall reminders, I am truly impressed with Dr. Yang and her team's approach to providing the best care possible. Office is exceptionally well kept including a very cute lobby area to the super fun patient care areas and the well trained team provides exceptional services with friendliness. Dr. Yang's treatment recommendations were solid recommendations with conservative approach in mind and I am so happy to have found Dr. Yang's office for my children. When my daughter first went here she was not scared of dentists visits. Through the years every time we would go the dr would find something and give us a treatment plan that insurance would not fully cover. My daughter would always have cavaties and over time she got very afraid to go to the dentist. So then we would have to pay to have her be given laughing gas. The last time we went the dr said she again had cavaties, this time 3 or 4. So when we came back home I found another dentist and surprise they also said she didn't have any cavaties! Reading the other reviews it sounds like a common scam they are running telling parents their kids need all this work when they really don't. Pushing parents to put kids under to charge extra money. After spending a lot of money there feel scammed and would like a refund. Now my kid has silver teeth that she probably didn't need. Do not go to this dentist office if you love your children. All they did was traumatize my kid! And reading all the other similar reviews they are doing unnecessary work to over charge parents.

This place is not only AWESOME with kids play area and video games in the waiting room but they also have little private waiting areas for parents that are waiting for their child's procedure to be done. Ok to the most important part! The dentists here are ABOVE AND BEYOND! They have the patience and kindness for our little ones and they take their time to really explain exams, procedures, diagnosis and treatment plans. They are so thorough and pleasant. It's that damn language barrier, I swear. They speak to their receptionists and their dentist...apprentices (whatever the hell they're called) in Vietnamese so you NEVER know what's going on. You tell them you're sensitive to pain - they don't care. You tell them it hurts - they don't care. I had my wisdom teeth pulled at another Vietnamese dentist office and he RECORDED it for his apprentices and had the audacity to ask "You stay and watch?" when I was in pain, in tears, and ready to storm out of the place. Some of these dentists are EMOTIONALLY-CONSTIPATED. But Toto Dental was, thank God, not like any of those places. I arrived, begrudgingly, for my yearly check-up at 9am on a Saturday morning. Not crowded, no wait, so that was a good first impression. I was brought to the back where some technicians took x-rays of my teeth. Then a few minutes later, Dr. Haikhanh Tran swooped into the room. She's loud, talkative, friendly, and bubbly, but she's pretty serious when she gets to work. She tells you straight-up when she comes across any problems and she makes sure you understand the problem and how to tend to it. It's also obvious that she cares about teaching her apprentices because she'll explain whatever she's doing to them, but not to the point where you feel like a freak-show. The best part: SHE SPEAKS ENGLISH. To her receptionists, to her techs...so you always know what's going on and what they're saying about you. Just being aware of everything made this visit 10x better. I still hate going to dentist. And I always will. But if you HAVE to drag me to one, drag me here.
