Luckily we found some stool seating by the front and were able to enjoy some beers and take in the ambiance. There's an upstairs that is accessible by a very very narrow staircase which even has handles for support, all part of the fun lol!! Beer: We tried out the Guinness (great pouring process!), peroni, and a local ale which the bartender allowed me to sample. He was very helpful and walked me through the different ciders they had in stock and even how you could add fruit syrups to sweeten the flavor. What makes this place even more memorable was the helpfulness of the young guy bartending. He helped us plan how to get to Gatwick airport extremely early the next morning and we owe him a big one!

The breakfast main entrée + breakfast spread for £20, which was a little expensive, but it was a good variety of food. I tried the eggs benedict and eggs royal, and both were very tasty egg dishes. The breakfast spread included pastries, toast, cereal, meats, cheeses, and fruit. The variety of fruit was superb and a great was to stock up on some good nutrition. The meats and cheeses also add a lot of value. Breakfast also included coffee and tea so I enjoyed both as well as orange juice. It can be a really well balanced meal so I found it was worth the money for a great way to start the day. The food and the view are worth it.

Drinks are how you would find at most pubs, and service is decent too, given how a waitress came to ask us what we wanted and served us amidst a busy rugby game (at other times, we had gone to the bar to order ourselves). There are quite a few tv screens as well as a big home theatre-like one too, which always adds to your sports watching experience. I've never had food here before but would like to try sometime. I hear that their wings are good. Be sure to bring an ID -- as its part of a casino facility, they check your ID even if you're here only for the bar and not for gambling.

They give you a "badge" which you then show every time you order, apparently so they know which tab to bill it to. A bit weird to me, but maybe that's the norm in London, or at least in high-tourist bars in London. Also, they won't let men inside if you are wearing a hat-- you must remove the hat to enter.
