This restaurant is very unprofessional. The people that work there they don't know how to speak English when you give them your order you tell them exactly what you want and how you want it and it's still don't understand. I wanted to call food service on them but I will talk to them tomorrow about this matter. And each with my bags they had like over 20 sauces in each bag which is very ridiculous stuff through around not prepared correctly. Food service needs to come in and expect this restaurant. I'm not satisfied with it and I will not recommend no one to them. They lost my business I would never spend with them ever in life again as long as I'm here. The wait is horrible. The food is good and reasonably priced. The young girl at the front tries to work as fast as she can.

If you stick to something safe like the orange chicken it's probably fine, but if you order anything with vegetables expect it to be 90% vegetables. I ordered the Mongolian Beef and it would be better listed on the menu as the "Mongolian Onions with a few hidden bits of shredded beef. Maybe food costs are up and this is their way of trying to keep their profit margins up, but I can't just eat mouthfuls of onions for dinner. This is basically inedible. read more

I eat delivery here every so often and the food never disappoints. However, the delivery times are outrageous. Every time they quote the latest arrival time as an hour (at latest remember). I ordered last night and this was the worse yet which is really disappointing as I just love the food! I again was quoted an hour at the latest and the food didn't arrive for two hours! I only live a couple miles away and it was early enough on a Thursday that something like that should not happen. Also the crab Rangoon had little to nothing in it. Luckily the food was a fluke this time. The prices are always reasonable and hopefully they fix their delivery system so I can continue to eat here. read more

Worst delivery experience ever, do not order from these people. If nothing else is open, just eat some cereal. Or go to bed hungry. My roommate ordered his food around 9:00. Before he could tell them what he wanted to drink or what sauce he wanted, they hung up. By the way, he had his card ready to pay over the phone but they ended the call before asking how he'd like to pay. Nor did they say he had to pay in any particular way. 9:35ish, roommate calls to check the status and they say they bagged it up and will be out for delivery soon. 9:57, roommate calls again because he was told it would be here. I believe they say about 5 min at this point. Doesn't matter. Already this is annoying. 10:14, knock at the door. Man wants money, has no way to take a card. Roommate wants his food, has no cash. Not roommate's fault. Delivery man steps through the threshold and holds our door open with force (literally wouldn't let us close it) and called the police until we handed him the stupid cheap food back. Roommate OBVIOUSLY calls the restaurant to complain about what just happened and they yell and fight and cut him off until they hang up on him. Good Food, Shitty Service. Placed an order for delivery. Got some egg foo young, 2 spring rolls, shrimp lo mein and crab wonton. Spoke to a girl who seemed very distracted when taking our order but she gave us a final total. 20 minutes later, the food shows up. Bag was missing our shrimp lo mein. Sauces were included for the lo mein, but no shrimp lo mein to be found. Called the girl back. She lacked any kind of empathy for our lack of lo mein. Didn't offer any kind of correction and instead argued like a smart ass. However, the food was really fresh and good. As a little hole in the wall Chinese place, Number One Kitchen No. 2 is bog-standard for Charleston. Little greasy fried things and fried rice that, perversely, is not fried. (What is that about, Charleston? Seriously. The sh*t is yellow. That is not fried rice.) The problem with this place, beyond the fact that nowhere in Charleston can you find decent Chinese food, is that it's completely uneven. I've eaten here several dozen times since moving to the area, and each time there seems to be a 50/50 chance that what you receive is going to be technically inedible. Chicken wings sometimes arrive burnt, as will anything fried -- i.e., half of their menu. I once was served moo goo gai pan that had no chicken in it. Moo goo. I've dealt with this in the past since the place is cheap and convenient, being pretty much my only option for delivery other than pizza, but a recent meal there left my entire family with stomach cramps. Won't be going back, and I've been warning everyone I know away as well. Drive to the end of Ashley Phosphate and go to Ocean City instead. read more

The other night I ordered shrimp fried rice with chicken wings and when I got home as I was eating the food I noticed a long strand of woman hair in my food and it so happens that the person who I witnessed cooked my food was a woman and I'm a man with no hair. Also the shrimps in the rice were very cold, they were not fresh at all. I called the next day to inform them of what took place and the man on the phone said I'd have to bring my food back in order for them to see before anything could be done. Please note that I did not get an apology or nothing for eating food that had someones hair inside it and yes the hair was very long and it could have had lice or dandruff or any type of unclean things on it and I ate almost half of it before I noticed. I went to the location which is over 10 miles from my home to get there to be disrespected and told that I ate most of the food which I did eat half before I noticed the long hair and the lady at the register even had the nerve to offer to remake it only if I paid half? these people are a joke they make money and pay their bills off our hard earned money but have no customer service or respect for their customers. After mentioning that I would call DHEC she reluctantly gave me my refund back because she knew she was wrong and yet still no apology was offered. I will never buy anything from these rude people again. I recommend if you want quality Chinese food and quality service please look and go some place else. read more

My partner and I recently moved to the N. Chas area and were excited when we received a menu from this restaurant. I have ordered it once before by myself and thought the food was very good but the delivery time was very slow. (Over an hour and we live just down the road.) I planned to order Chinese food for dinner Friday night, so called to place our order. It sounded like the person taking orders was doing so from the kitchen- very loud on my end so I have no idea how he or she could hear me. (I am not even sure if it was a man or woman I spoke to as I could barely hear.) I had to repeat my phone number several times and when we finally got to my address, I could tell they couldn't understand. I was being shouted at to "SPELL THAT" and "PLACE YOUR ORDER" like I was an annoying child. I tried to repeat the street because I am sure they did not get all the information and was again yelled at to "PLACE YOUR ORDER, COME ON." I was finally fed up, told them to never mind, I didn't appreciate their rudeness and hung up. We won't be ordering from here again and they certainly lost our order Friday night. read more
