New review from Nov 2019:…read more This is my second visit here and far more disappointing. The reason is the waiter/owner was grumpy and when I asked for a takeaway box for the moyin moyin he actually scowled! Wow. The moyin moyin is quite flavourful but the jollof rice is a real disappointment. I've had far better in Ghana. Two years ago: I popped into here for lunch around 1:30pm today and whilst the owner could have been friendlier in greeting me (a smile doesn't hurt ya know), I appreciated him coming outside the restaurant to hand me my takeaway food where I had waited in the lovely sun for my order. The interior is quite small with only a couple of tables with lovely African sculptures all around. There is chalkboard of specials along with the regular menu. Sadly the sweet potato balls were sold out so I got the moin moin and the spinach stew. All together less than a tenner. There are four pieces of moin moin, which are just deliciously savoury. I recommend eating them with the nonspicy spinach stew with melon seed, which, whilst not delicious, was tasty and filling. It would be perfect on a cold winter night. If I was in the area, I would return just for the moin moin!

Nice small restaurant with good food and a friendly owner. I…read morehad the chicken in coconut which was really good. Bring cash since cards are not accepted.

He noticed this one and headed straight for it. I kind of hunh back knowing that Nigerian food is spicy, and spicy and I don't get along. I ordered a meal of beans and plantain with chicken. My husband ordered lamb and jollof rice. He took one bite and tears came up in his eyes. I was afraid maybe he'd burnt himself on the spiciness but when I asked him he said he may be ruined for any spiced me dinner From Here On Out. This is simply the best. Knowing that Nigerian food is spicy, remember that the mild is still spicy. It's just mildly spicy. My dinner was mildly spicy and very very pleasant. . The Curry is excellent. My husband decided that even though I really don't like spicy food I just had to try some so he took a very tiny bit of meat and onion and gave it to me and, yes, it's very very spicy but there is a depth of Flavour in that spiciness that is absolutely yummy. I give my highest recommendation for this restaurant. The service might seem a little slow but your food is being made from scratch. And it tastes it.

It can taste very different from place to place but I ate at two Enish locations in London and was not disappointed. If I lived there I would visit them for this soup daily. It was so good. Their suya and goat pepper soup was also heaven. Already recommended to friends and family visiting London. Looking for to my return just to experience their food again.
