I placed an order of 10 breakfast tacos over the phone, and the tacos were ready pretty fast. I got there and paid for the order and tip them. When I arrived to my destination I noticed they just gave me 8 tacos, so I called the restaurant to notify them of the error. The girl on the phone, said that they gave me 10 tacos, but I said, that why would I call and complain about 2 missing tacos? makes no sense. She said they will check their cameras and left me on hold. Then got on the phone again and said that she corroborated that they gave me 10 tacos not 8. At that point, I realized they were not gonna address the situation and told the girl that it was ok I just would never buy from them again. She said : "Ok" Now, about the food, the tacos are just ok, nothing great or special, they are bland, the flour tortilla is not handmade, and its more Texas style than authentic Mexican flour tortillas. Very nice clean spacious .the guisada tacos melt in your mouth. My friend ordered rancheros eggs - she liked it. Our waitress Dolores was very friendly and attentive. I give 4 stars because my friend said the ranchero salsa would be better if It were chunky instead of watery otherwise, I would it gave a 5 but maybe if they get that salsa chunky let me know :) read more

Tried this place for breakfast for the first time today. Good! We tried the huevos rancheros and tacos- all good. Appreciate the fact that they chop up the bacon with the eggs in the tacos! Good Barbacoa and homemade tortillas (flour and corn)! We will be back! read more

I picked up the Mexican plate today to go before they closed. The crispy taco was set in the container next to the enchiladas so that made the taco shell soggy. There was plenty of meat in the taco though. This was my first time here and I do live in the area. It was okay, but I won't go out of my way to go back. The Mexican plate is $10.99. read more

Ok now we are talking! Checked out this New Mexican restaurant this morning for breakfast and was not disappointed at all!!! The plates were delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was friendly and the food came out fast and hot! We had the barbacoa plate and the huevos rancheros. The barbacoa was meaty and delicious, the potatoes were crispy and not greasy, and the beans were perfect! The huevos rancheros were cooked perfectly. They provide a bottle of green and red sauce , both excellent! Overall a great experience and quality and authentic Mexican food. We will certainly be back! Nice work everyone. UPDATE : returned for lunch today and had the flautas de pollo and the pollo enchiladas verde .. both were great and great service again! read more

Service was pretty good, but the food was not at all. Carne asada was so tough, crispy beef tacos didn't taste good. The reviews were so good, I had high hopes, but I would not eat here again or recommend it to another. Hopefully it was just an off day for their kitchen. read more

Great place for lunch and dinner. Food is delicious and staff is nice. The service is very quick and there's a lot of diversity with guests but the ambiance feels just like Mexico. Only downfall, the parking spaces are crooked but still doable. Not enough to turn away from the restaurant. read more

Ala pinché madre Batman! Don't do what we have done and passed this place up again and again. Well yesterday we were like F it, let's check this place out. So we did and we had to give it the full Tex-Mex taste challenge which consisted of carne guisada, papa con chorizo, Al pastor, asada and the sweet tea in to-go-cups (it's a thing in San Antonio). Well believe you me when I say that this place could compete with any taco spot in SA. Dropped in for a quick breakfast this morning and it was a great experience. Place is spotless and comfortable, with a menu featuring all the classics. They have a big board displaying daily lunch specials which are a bargain and include iced tea. We had migas and barbacoa, both of which come out hot and fresh. The barbacoa wasn't overly greasy and had terrific flavor. Flour tortillas were pillowy soft and hot. Breakfast came with three salsas. Watch out for the creamy green, it's VERY spicy but the flavor was so good I let it rip. Our server did an excellent job and was attentive to our needs. Looking forward to our next visit. read more

Great New Mexican Restaurant with friendly staff and excellent food in a casual setting. I have tried 2 different dishes over a 3 day span and each was very good. Their cheese enchiladas with beef tips were excellent as well as their Carne Guisada. Their Quesadillas are also very, very, good. In addition, they have Daily Specials in the $7.99 - 9.99 range, which is nice to see now a days. We had the chalupa's and enchiladas. Both very good. The hot sauce and queso is hot. So I could not really eat the chips and hot sauce. The service was great. The waitress was very attentive.
