We decided to stop off and grab a meal on a quiet Wednesday afternoon. And what a good decision it was. Although a bit unprepossessing in terms of looks (the interior is painted a simple pink and there is little in the way of ambience), the menu offered a surprisingly wide array of choices. As our party of five had very different interests in eating, we all got a diverse set of dishes. From my simple scone and latte to my son's Mexican smash burger, everything was quite tasty and reasonably priced. They do seem a bit short-handed, but overall no complaints at all. Definitely worth a stop if you're nearby.

What lacked was SERVICE. Our waitress took our order and we ordered tea for our beverages. I asked TWICE after ordering for the tea and it never came. She never checked on us to see how our meals were and never brought us the tea. The tables around us who ordered alcoholic beverages got their drinks immediately. Normally I would order a glass of wine with my meal but I was so tired as was just looking forward to a hot cup of tea. My friend had to go up to pay the bill and asked for boxes for our meals as again, our waitress never returned. I would definitely give this place a try for food again but there was no excuse for such poor service.
