My first car was purchased here, in 2021 when I was in college! In a way, I regret buying a car during that time, as there was a car chip shortage so limited car inventory at many dealerships & prices were marked up for this reason. I was leaning towards getting a used low mileage car but due to the chip shortage, a used car was not much cheaper, so a new car it was! I had gone to multiple different Honda dealerships all around MA just looking for somewhere to have ANY car left on the lot to buy. Originally, I was not even looking into getting a Honda at all but I was intrigued by hybrid vehicles! Ended up getting a Honda Insight Hybrid that had cloth interior and if I wanted leather, it would've been another couple of months until it would arrive lol. It was the first cloth interior car that I ever had/driven & it was not a fun time. Stains easily & super difficult to clean! The car itself was great though, can't complain. The estimated mpg was said to be ~55mpg but most of the time, I am able to get 77/mpg, so definitely gas efficient & only cost me ~$20/tank of gas. For example, a trip to NYC and even driving through NJ/Fort Lee, I only had to fill the tank once on the way back in RI! So this is a great commuter/road trip car. It's too bad they stopped manufacturing this model in 2022. BUT if I was not in so much of a need of getting a car at the time, I probably wouldn't have ever gotten it. This is because the salesman I had wasn't great & was actually a college kid lol. Very pushy attitude and was not knowledgeable about the cars offered at the dealership... This unfortunately goes for most of the salesmen/saleswomen here though. I never went here for services, only have to deal with oil changes still and haven't had any actual issues yet to this day. read more

Purchased a 2018 GMC Arcadia from Nucar Hyundai of Norwood. Noticed the rocker panel was falling off a week after picking up vehicle. Was told by Marc, salesman who sold me the vehicle, that nothing can be done since I already picked up the vehicle. He said if it was noticed before picking up car it would have been fixed! Terrible customer service! Rocker panel can cut your leg entering and exiting vehicle as well as the potential of falling off and causing an accident. My husband had purchased his Toyota thru Nucar Toyota and they treated him like a King! I went to NuCar Toyota and was not warmly greeted. And it was about to snow and 5pm the guy I talked to Joseph Nasrallh didn't listen at all when I said I was looking for used car. Customer satisfaction is the least of tbeir concern! From the very beginning they knowingly took part in the sale of a vehicle that was not fit to be on tbe road! They withheld pertinent info of the cars history and my opinion did not do a thorough inspection as they stated. Within 3,000 miles approx 1,500 of those tbey put on my equinox had to have approx $6,000 worth of work....transmission, torque converter,manifold brakes ( calipers pads and rotors. It took a month and a half for them to address the concerns stating it was in my head. Unfortunately the issues didnt go away ive had multiple complete brake jobs as well as sensors issues with windows front end 2 engines tires. If you are a squeaky wheel expect for them to delay or put off any work that needs to be done to inconvenience you even more. I thought they were legitimate, but when I finally spoke with a supposed manager, they said they couldn't find a title for the car and it could take up to 12 weeks to get one. Very disappointed with this Dealer. I bought my NEW car from this Dealer and always doing the services here, because I used to trust this Dealer. But after yesterday, I will never bring my car here anymore. My car just completed 30k miles and needs some Transmission oil change plus others services. I paid for Tire rotation also, but after spend $427.00 when I received the car, I went to check the tire marking that I did on my tire with a pen mark, because I was suspicious the last time they DID NOT do it The tire rotation. And for my SURPRISE they NOT DID the tire rotation. Then I went to speak with the Manager and he refund me $197.00. My question is: WERE the other services done? Cannot Recommend Nucar Hyundai of Norwood, MA Very disappointed with my experience at this dealership. During the purchase process, they attempted to add a clear-coat paint service to the price of the vehicle without clearly discussing it beforehand. I was also sent home with the car but without any of the purchase paperwork, which was frustrating and made the whole transaction feel unorganized. In addition, I was told multiple times that I would be reimbursed for an auto inspection I paid for but did not receive. I was always pleasant when speaking with them, yet it has now been over three months, and despite repeated follow-ups (calls and emails) with the manager and sales person, I still have not received the reimbursement. Each time I called, I was told it was approved and being taken care of and if there was any issue they would contact me, but nothing has happened. My question is, how many more people have the failed to reimburse. Overall, my experience felt disorganized and misleading. I hope the dealership improves communication and follows through on the commitments they make to customers. Was looking for a winter vehicle to get me through the inclement weather. Saw two beautiful Jeeps, both with high mileage; however, due to a few hiccups, we couldn't close the deal. Tyler Geho is probably one of the hardest working and honest sales associate I ever met. He took videos of the interior, exterior, engine compartment, and undercarriage. He never misled me and him and his boss came to me with a fair price. Even though there was no official military discount on used vehicles, they took care of this disabled vet. We had a wonderful experience test driving the car, and he was very honest in his responses to our questions. I didn't feel like I was getting the runaround. He was very straightforward with his thoughts on what we were looking for in a car, how inventory levels were looking, and his likes/dislikes about other brands compared to Honda. I am a youn woman in my twenties and I recently purhased a certified preowned Toyota Rav4 that had a safety issue upon state inspection. They wil not respond to any calls or emails to resolve the issue. Sales team is rude and unhelpful and completely ignores you once they have your money. Their CPO inspection process is a joke and they will try and sell you a vehicle that is unsafe to drive at a premium price. Do not spend your money here, you will be scammed. What a ludicrous experience. We were shopping for a used F-150. We looked online and the website had two trucks that we were very interested in. We received a message that the trucks were not onsite but could be brought in if we were to pay a deposit and have the manager write up a quote. I'm sorry, but why would we pay a deposit on a vehicle we haven't even seen or test drove?? We offered to go to where the trucks were, thinking it was just at another one of their dealerships, and was told that they cannot tell us where the trucks are located, (although the previous contact person said they were in NH), and that the deposit is the only way they could help us. Impossible to get deposit refunded. I was told I can get a refund if I change my mind after saying I was not sure. Salesperson (Sean) assured me that I can get a refund if I changed my mind but that I would not need to. I signed the purchase agreement. Changed my mind 24 hours later and was told I needed to pay $900 in fees incurred because I cancelled. I contacted the AG office to clarify and was told that should not be the case. I called back and was told that they were mistaken and can get a full refund. I drove there immediately to get refund. Then was told the manager on duty is not the person who signed off so I can't get refund. Sean told me ""I already knew you were going to change your mind when you asked that question." I would need to come back and there's nothing they can do about it. I left and told them I would submit a complaint to my credit card company. I forgot to ask for some names and came back to ask for everyone's name and they accused me of recording them. When they finally relented and call the "manager," he said just to issue the refund and he will deal with it tomorrow. Then they demanded the physical credit card - the same card they took a picture of yesterday. I had a picture of the credit card and I told them they have it from yesterday and they said NO I need the physical card, making me ask my husband who was working to drive down. Guess what they did when he came down with the credit card? He looked at it and typed in the credit card information so his manager can issue the refund tomorrow. I will submitting complains to the AG office, BBB about my experience. Hoping for another recession to make these car company feel the pain again - they're fat and want to make the experience as bad as possible to screw people over. TL;DR It's not worth the headache and waste of time - buy your car elsewhere. Absolutely nightmare of a situation. My second car I've ever bought in my life. I was desperate for a new (used) car because mine was on its last leg and I drive a lot for work. I find the car I want, sign the papers, all seems well and good. I get the call saying my title is ready, go to pick up my car - oops! Miscommunication, title isn't actually ready. They offer to put me in a rental for free until the title is ready, all good, they offer to put a remote starter in my car for free and drop the car off to me when it's ready. Cool. 8 days later I get the call saying my title is ready and I can come pick up the car. Uhm, no, you said you're bringing the car to me. Had to ask twice for them to drop the car off to me like they said they would, finally drop the car off....no remote starter has been installed. They tell me I can drop my car off at the service station and it should take 3-4 hours for the starter to be installed. No free rental this time around. Did I mention I drive a lot for my job? Being without a car isn't an ideal scenario. Anywho. I add my new car to my insurance policy and it takes THREE WEEKS for NuCar to get in touch with my insurance company and get my registration in order. Mind you, when the registration was finally ready, they never called to let me know. It took me checking in multiple times to find out my registration was finally ready. Now I just want the nightmare to be over, the hassle to be done with, so I have an appointment Monday morning - because the remote starter installer guy is only there on specific days - and hopefully I'll get everything done in one fell swoop and won't ever have to step foot back in that place ever again except for my free maintenance services that come with my purchase. read more

Just bought a 2020 Civic EX for my son from Boch. His first car. My experience at Bock Honda was great. I made an appointment to see a car online and I got a text from Chris Jimenez. My experience with Chris was phenomenal. Great communication and attentiveness. He explained the options to us with no sales pressure. He is very knowledgeable and spoke to my son as the customer, which he appreciated. We ended up buying a different car than what we came for as it was a better fit and a better deal. We also interacted with Mark, his manager, and he was great. The car came with one key and they promised to deliver another key for free. There were also some scratches on the side of the car and they promised to fix them. When it was time to pick up the car, it was easy and they delivered on all of what they promised. When i talked to the service desk, I asked if they put the two new tires in the front and she yes of course we always put new tires in the front and that just common practice. It's been awhile since I purchased a 2019 Nissan Sentra from these people. Going on 3 yrs and this dealership won't do anything to fix the issues with this vehicle. The Carfax report said it had never been in a accident. Well they fooled me because 2 body shop people told me it was in a accident. I mentioned to Chris that he was one of the few salesman I saw with 5 stars on Yelp and I can confirm that he deserves 5 stars. I made an appointment for a problem with my car; it is the second car I've bought from this dealership. After getting stuck in traffic, I called to let the dealership know I was running late. I was greeted by their voicemail. When I arrived at the dealership (3:50pm) I was told that my car could not be serviced because the techs leave at 5pm. This is far and away the worst car buying experience I have ever had (I'm currently on the 4th car of my lifetime). After the test drive, I went back into Finance, where the manager asked if I wanted the warranty. "No," I said. "Why? I have to put a reason on the form." "Because I don't need it." That should be enough, right? Signed a bunch of forms, they handed me an envelope with my paperwork, and off I drove with my new-to-me car. It took me a couple of days to look through the papers...and imagine my surprise when I discovered that I had a warranty. WHICH I HAD SPECIFICALLY DECLINED. I read through the Driveant contract, and it said, "To cancel, write a letter and send/fax/email to [address]." So, I did that on Oct 3, at 9:30a. The email I got back from the customer "service" at 10a on Oct 5 was, "We need proof of mileage." So, I took a picture and sent to them on Oct 9 at 6:30p. I got another email back on Oct 11. "Fill out this form." It requires a witness's signature, and the way the form is written, it sure looks like the "witness" has to be the "dealer." I ain't got time to go back to the dealership, which is an hour away if there's no traffic. And there's never "no traffic." I tried calling the original dealership on Wednesday afternoon and got sent over to Todd's voicemail. Apparently, he'd already cleared the building (at 4pm), and his message said that he didn't work Thursday or Friday. I called back and spoke to a manager who helped me figure out who my finance person was. Rich Greene. I literally called 8 different times today, and guess who answered his phone NOT ONE TIME (spoiler alert: Rich Greene does not answer the phone). Apparently, when I call, only the inmates are running the asylum. I am absolutely furious that: 1) I was sold a warranty that I explicitly said I did not want. 2) I followed the directions to cancel the contract located in said contract and 10 days later, I've still got a contract that I don't want. 3) I've not gotten any response from the dealership. I read poor reviews and still chose to buy a car at Boch Honda and regret it. I figured for the amount of cars they sell, it's probably not usual. However, I would not recommend them, despite efforts of the GM to make up for this situation. I really like the car I purchased there, it's exactly what I wanted, however since I purchased it, it has spent more time at the dealership than in my driveway. I sold my previous car in WA before a cross country move and bought a 2020 Pre-owned Honda HRV on Sunday 8/13/23 and was told it would likely be ready by Wednesday and my salesperson would call me. Because I had an out-of-state drivers license, registration may take longer, which I understood. Tuesday, I call and it's not registered. Thursday, I call and she says "I will find out and call you back." She did not call back. Friday, there is no answer for multiple phone calls. I call the dealership and get sent to the managers voicemail. After 4 hours of no response, I go to the dealership and I'm told it is my salespersons day off and they would find the manager. While waiting, another salesperson, Biff, looks up my account and contacts the registry person. He finds out they were just then taking my paperwork to the DMV. I am then told likely next Wednesday. I understand the dealership doesn't control what the registry does but I feel like the paperwork could have been submitted sooner. Thursday, 12 days after purchase, I call my sales person who says I can come get the car. She did not call me once to update me and I only found out because I called her. I told her I would be there between 5-6p to pick it up. I arrived at 530p, My sales person is not there, not answering her phone, and did not handoff for someone else to help me. The manager is looking for the car and trying to reach her. Eventually, he finds the keys and paperwork and walks me to the car. He states my sales person is bad at communication. I see the scratches still on the car that my salesperson said would be taken care of. My salesperson then arrives and says the scratches couldn't be buffed and I'd have to come back for them to be painted over. I was upset this wasn't addressed in the 12 days we were waiting for registration. 18 days after getting the car, I notice water under the dash after it rains. When it's wet, I have issues with the door lock sensors and locking/unlocking the doors. I make a service appointment and they diagnose a leaky seal on the windshield. I am told it could happen faster by going through insurance and reporting the windshield is cracked but not about the leak. Note, there is no crack and therefore I feel like this would be insurance fraud. The car is still under warranty and the work would be covered with approval from the sales manager. They then say the glass company won't be there until Monday. Which is not convenient for me to not have a car for 6 days but I have no other choice. I had planned on getting the scratches fixed Thursday prior to the car going in for service. However, the service department has no involvement with that and my sales person did not respond to my texts, even though she suggested Thursday earlier in the week. Because of the complications in my experience, I am contacted by the Service Manager and the GM who said they make sure it taken care of. Did not hear anything from my salesperson until Monday, an hour before I pick up my car after completed service, that scratch repair was not done and could I come back. I told her I don't have time and when I asked why it didn't happen on Thursday as planned, she said "they didn't do it and Friday it was too wet." I call the GM, who previously said he would make sure it was done, and he apologizes for not following up on it. He offers different solutions to make it happen, which I appreciate, but I cannot spend any more time dealing with this and honestly it's a used car, I bought it despite the scratches. The scratches aren't a dealbreaker but I was assured it would be taken care of multiple times by multiple people and they failed to do so. read more

Summary: Lied to me about what car I was getting, and very pushy about buying the extended warranty. The process of deciding on a car went very smoothly - I was mostly communicating over text, over which we quickly settled on a model, color, and a competitive price. When I went into the store to pick it up, the salesperson was very quick to walk me through the paperwork without any extra hassle, and then handed me over to finance to finish the paperwork. However, the finance person was extremely pushy, trying to get me to buy the extended warranty despite me saying no multiple times. It was very uncomfortable. Finally, a few days after receiving the car, I realized that it did not have a key feature (BSI) that is supposed to come with the car. While Honda is shipping cars without BSI, these are typically labelled as such and none of my text communications or any of the paperwork that I signed mentioned that the car I was buying lacked BSI. Boch Honda essentially mislead me into buying an inferior car to what I thought I was buying. They have not returned any of my calls. As a minor point, it was also a hassle getting the car. I did not realize that in Massachusetts, you typically do not take home the car the same day, and this was not communicated ahead of time. The salesperson assured me that they could deliver it the next day. However, there was no active communication, and after I inquired, they told me they would deliver it 2 days after the purchase. And then 2 days after purchase, they told me that they did not have any drivers so they couldn't deliver it. Finally, on the actual day of delivery, they pushed back the delivery time several times. read more

My experience here was terrible. Walked into the showroom with a loud argument between a customer and the sales team at the front desk. It took them 5 minutes before they moved the heated conversation into a private office. A manager came to apologize. Our sales guy was pretty good, listened and understood that we were not buying only test driving. We actually considered buying the car he showed us. Then they brought in the finance manager and we started getting the run around about not doing the work to make it a Certified Pre-owned (CPO). Insisting that we had to buy an extended warranty...but not a Honda warranty but a 3rd party. (I checked the 3rd party warranty company and they have a terrible rating.) We left without buying but overnight we grew incredibly wary of this dealership and decided to cancel our deposit and shop elsewhere. IF YOU VALUE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY'S SAFETY, AVOID THIS DEALER!! I went through Boch Honda for a lease buyout on my Acura. If you are considering buying out your lease, secure financing on your own and avoid the dealer at all costs. They will force you to pay a $800 "dealer fee" just for you to buy your own car. This is actually unlawful as your lease agreement gives you a buyout price for your vehicle so this violates the lease contract. Boch is charging this fee so they can make a cut on this "sale" that they did no work to facilitate. They claim that this fee covers their service shop's inspection of the vehicle which is completely unnecessary and for them to help arrange financing for you. Apparently this is common practice among dealers but if you file a complaint with your local AGO they can make the dealer refund you that fee. I should've known better but the financing was a joke. I have an excellent credit score and they shotgunned my credit application and hit me with 4 hard inquiries at one time. They ended up choosing a loan with Huntington Bank and the interest rate they gave me was a full 2% higher than the rate advertised on Huntington's website for used auto loans. I made sure to call Huntington Bank's auto loan division to double check the advertised rates and they were also unsure of why I would have gotten a rate 2% higher than what they were advertising but since they did not originate the loan, they did not have more information. When I called Boch out on it they could not tell me why it was like that but through my own research found out that dealers make a commission known as the dealer reserve or finance reserve and are allowed to mark up loan rates 1-2% and they have no obligation to tell you how much they are marking up the loan. They even had the nerve to lie to me and tell me that I would get a better rate if I opted to go with their protection plan. Which brings me to another pain point - the protection plan that Boch Honda sells is a "DCD Drivant" warranty which is trademarked by DCD Automotive Holdings. DCD Automotive Holdings is the same company that owns the Boch dealerships as well as many other dealerships (Nucar, Tarbox) owned by the Dageese family. Now that's a nice racquet they have going here - selling their own warranties, servicing warranty claims in their own service shops. With this structure are they not incentivized to recommend and perform unnecessary work just to drive business and sales of both warranties and services? I can get around the shady financial dealings of this dealer as most others also participate in that kind of behavior. What really pissed me off was that the inspection I paid $800 for was downright bogus and they actually damaged my car, left it in a dangerous state, and returned the car to me with a failed inspection sticker. When they put my car through a "rigorous inspection", they also performed work on my car without my consent. They did not even disclose the work they performed on my vehicle until I noticed my wheel locks were missing, my rims were chipped, and that there was an excessive amount of grease on the brakes. They also put it through an automatic car wash and put swirls all over the car's finish. When I picked up my car I asked about my wheel locks and the grease, they had to pull up the service records to figure out that the technician who was performing the inspection on my car removed the wheel locks and replaced the brake pads. They said the car failed the emissions portion of the inspection because they had disconnected the battery (why?) and the car needed to driven for a few days for the emissions tests to pass. I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to deliver a car to a customer with a failed inspection sticker as that violates MA lemon law. I was already pretty livid at this point but I just wanted my car back from their clutches before they could do any more damage. Over the next few weeks I drove my car carefully, brought it to Ira Acura to complete the inspection as I trusted their service department. I began to notice a loud clunking sound from my front driver's side wheel when going over bumps and dips in the road. After a few trips to the Acura dealer they were able to diagnose the issue and asked me who last did my brakes. We learned that when Boch Honda service performed the brake pad replacement (WITHOUT MY CONSENT), they messed up the job and forgot to install one of the two critical bolts that secure the caliper to the brakes. My service advisor at Acura told me I was extremely lucky because that could've resulted in a catastrophic accident. Imagine what would happen if that brake failed under highway speeds. Was it a mistake or was it intentional to cause damage that would lead to more service work? I am never going through Boch Honda or any other DCD dealer - sales or service - ever again, and I suggest you stay VERY far away from them. BEWARE! read more
